Why do I keep getting the nagging feeling that Neves is going the same way as Talisca last year. Is mendes using us to drum up interest for his client. I REALLY hope to be proved wrong.

I am starting to feel the same, does feel like talisca all over again. The longer it drags on can only be bad news, it feels like now we need this signing to happen to show the rest of football Wolves mean business, if it fails a lot of Wolves fans will be disheartened.
But hey let's put our faith with our owners, I'm sure there doing everything possible to make Wolves great sgsin.

A bit worried about the Romain Saiss signing, a delay is not without reason and usually signals a problem. I suspect someone else has indeed put in a counter bid or the deal would have been done already. Don't know anything, just concerned as I think he would be a very good addition.

I think we may not see any major striker activity until the indie closes as they are far more likely to b loan to buy options. That is assuming the loan window still applies, if not can someone enlighten me? I also believe we just need to keep the faith in Jeff etc, they have worked wonders so far and they would not have let Mason and Dicko go without being pretty sure that Mr Mendes has it under control. Fingers crossed.

As a lifelong supporter of 40+ years and having afflicted several others including my son with the same misguided obsession (apologies son) I must admit to the somewhat painful enjoyment of reading the various blogs and musings of fellow sufferers.
I have finally taken the plunge by adding my own view on the Old Gold world. I thank you 'Just Smith' for providing the inspiration from a very well written piece. Yes we have challenges, yes he has made mistakes, but what Morgan has brought is a very business minded approach to running the club, which is not what everyone wants to see, but given that the football world is littered with so many financial disasters, us included lest we forget, therefore to be where we are we as fans should wake up every day and be thankful.
Of course we all want success faster and I do believe that it is probably time for new investment and direction. However, I truly hope that certain elements have not alienated Mr Morgan so much that he sells to the wrong party!
Like many on here I remember the days of pre Bully in the 4th division, crowds of 4,000 and a stiff neck from watching a game sideways! To be where we are now is really not so bad!
