That only happens to Wolves, we only ones daft enough to allow it to happen. Forgive me for the pessimism this morning, get cheesed off with all the non action, have you seen the report on what clubs have spent so far, Liverpool at the top on something like £300m. Think we are near the bottom obviously, not sure how we can climb the table with the squad we have at the moment, another season fighting relegation I fear.

Thing is Banksy every player we've been linked with on the clink bait reports have gone else where, which makes me wonder how serious we are in recruitment, so either we've got some surprises to arrive, or we're going to try and make do. The pubill incident sums it up really.
I just hope we've no more outgoungs bar the obvious and even then it'll leave us light.

I thought and hoped this summer would have been different Abbeywolf, unfortunately it is looking very similar to previous seasons. All of the players we were initially linked to have, I think moved on.
Unless the likes of Sasa, Guedes, Hwang are staying and can contribute and play a part we look very light to me. Who is left as back up in midfield, as you say, we have to hope things are being worked on we are not aware of ??. Perhaps they are trying to sell before buying, at the moment it is not looking good.

I agree all. Trouble is we are not currently in a position to attract great players. We need to at least finish mid table for rolling seasons for a cheeky promise that we could play in Europe soon.
I hadn’t realized we were in front of other clubs Wandering - nice update thanks.
In my eyes we need enough good players to cover injuries/challenge for each position and that includes goal keeper, which very few mention!

Abbey. We can't compete with what we've got so far. Not if we get a series of injuries anyway. We need a RB/RWB maybe LB/LWB someone to replace Cuhna and hopefully another striker. Just hope we can offload some of the deadwood like Fabio to help with new acquisitions and hope Shi keeps his word!

Lostcitywolves Pubill passed his medical at AC Milan with flying colours. AC Milan pulled the plug because they said he wasn't technical enough. To me strange if you have watched the player and then chase to sign him then say its because he's not technical enough.

Shada I read that but I interpreted the 'technical comments' meaning that they realised they already had players with similar skills at the club so they weren't really gaining anything.
Either way, as you say it's still odd chasing him, getting him in for a medical, which he passed, then deciding that you didn't want/need him. Let's see if he passes a Wolves medical, I think they're tougher.
