certain media oulets saying spurs in early talks about signing coady from wolves. if this is true same as traore rrumours its a bit worrying, its not just a case of selling its finding the players to replace them the seasons only a fortnight away.

There's always a 101 rumours going on about our players leaving. But, last year I first read on this site that Doc was wanted by Spurs. It sounded unlikely but it was true.

boly seems injury prone kilman with very little experiece and saiss not even a defender by right the new chap and he's aready carrying a knock il be watching this rumour closely.

My personal opinion is that Coady won’t go and the same for Neves, doesn’t feel like players with recent articles/ comments on the Wolves rumours page saying things like how excited they are to be playing with fans at molineux again would then leave the club a few weeks later. I could be wrong of course but it doesn’t make sense from a club point of view telling fans one thing then doing another.

Haven't Wolves said categorically that Coady is not for sale. Plus I don't think Coady would want to go, given his often stated love for playing for Wolves.

I personally don’t see it as that much of a problem if he does go. Ben White went for £50mil an England international all be it didn’t play in the euros but, with Coady the leader he is, If we could get £60/ 65 mil take it and put it to use invested into better defenders.
Will Coady even fit into Bruno’s style of play?
Is he going with 442 or the recent 5 at the back system. Coady was found out a fair few times last season in the back four and if Bruno is going with that back four cash in while the stock is high. I’d sooner keep Neves, Neto and Adama just now. Adama looked a beast in the past few games all be it against “lesser†opposition but, with Raul back can that spark reignite him and bring his value back up slightly.
Ok Coady is a leader for us and would be difficult to replace in that regard but, our defence and defending was so poor last season, whether it was back four or five. We all know defence is a urgency for strengthening this summer. If we can get big money for Coady why not? Based on Ben White’s fee we should be asking more for Coady.
Nuno was ruthless with changes when he came in, maybe it’s time for that again.
Coady, Mir, Cutrone and some the other fringe players (they escape me now) moved out we could have good money to reinvest in the team.

I'd like some of what you are taking, Shikari if you really believe Coady would command those sort of figures which, to my mind, are double what could realistically be expected.

No way on earth is Coady worth that much. Try half, and be prepared to come down. He will stay at Wolves. Neves must be worth £45mil and will also stay. I think Traore will move, probably for £35mil to £45mil.

express and star linking us with the lad from sevilla, who if the story is true has openly said he wants to stay at sevilla, cutrone didn't want to come to wolves and look how that ended, think we will prob loose 4 first team players but hpefully get 6 in for the money we get.

what jota did brilliantly was drop ack and make that attackng link
between defence and attack, neves for all his qualities doesn't have that which makes podence all the more important, donk and neves will break up play but west ham played round them and tbh we may as well not have had a midfield for the use it was., for me podence has become vital in a short time and without his attacking option I see us struggling to break many teams down,
