Smart move to send him on loan again. If he can get a few goals he'll be a far more saleable asset than he is right now

Guirassy is 28 in March so hardly a young talent. Can't see this being any more than paper talk tho.

Regrettably i'd sell depending on the price and IF we're then in a position to spend that money on two or three players

I did think it was interesting that the boss was at the game, pictured alongside Guanchang and Shi.

You appoint a manager like JL and you're looking at a team that aims towards getting back into Europe, appoint O'Neill and the target is avoiding relegation. I said last week I wasn't convinced by the 'open letter' and I've not changed my mind- we're still not getting the full story.
Blame. Fosun for me. They can moan about overspending in the last windows but for me there was an over-reliance on Uncle Jorge- yes he brought some great players in but then there were guys signed which helped his pocket more than the team (Guedes being one). Maybe Fosun realised- it's been very quiet on the Mendes front of late.
That said, JL is 'ambitious' and the lure of Madrid cost him the Spain job (I was living in Spain at the time so maybe have a different perspective on that). I do think he'd have walked if a better offer came in.
I do like O'Neill but can't help thinking if he's the answer then we're asking the wrong question. Hope I'm wrong but I do expect at least one more departure before the window closes- the optimism I felt after watching the Rennes game has diminished somewhat.

Maybe our biggest challenges will come from Stockley Park

Really happy for Big George. Had the honour of meeting him at Molineux once- legend

Unfortunately we start the game a goal behind and a man down with
PGMOL having awarded a penalty before kick-off on balance of probability

Been saying for a while we should go back to a back 3 (5)
Et voila

Stand off a team with players who can actually put the ball in the net and you can't be surprised at the outcome. Good first half displays by Neto and Bellegarde in particular but I still don't know what Cunha was trying to do
Onto next week
