Confirmed Nunes is part of the wolf pack

Long time reader, first time message.
Had to register after the confirmation of Nunes tonight! Thrilling stuff. I genuinely believe we’ve signed a future world star. Someone that will raise the standards and expectations of the entire squad. Never thought we’d be in with a sniff of signing such a quality after 25 years as a season ticket holder.
Can only hope that this galvanises the fan base to get behind the team. Whichever way you thought things were going, whatever you think of Shi, Sellars, Fosun or Lage… transfers in and out. We all should be 100% behind this group now.
Up the Wolves

Welcome YesYesNunes, let's hope everyone can get fully behind the club again. They have delivered for sure.

3.) 18 Aug 2022 07:00:59
A really, really good signing!
I think every Wolves fan will now be reassured Fosun are still serious about our great Club.
Thank you Mr Guangchang!

4.) 18 Aug 2022 08:20:56
Like most of us, I was trawling the Internet every 10 minutes yesterday and gave up at 11.30pm so great news to wake up to the actual confirmation.
Just need to finalise an out n out striker and we can all say it been a fantastic window.
Just not sure why it needed to be left so late- could have done with having some preseason together!

5.) 18 Aug 2022 09:39:38
Welcome Yesyesnunes :)

6.) 18 Aug 2022 11:18:11
I
Notification came through on my iPad at one minute passed midnight.

Went to bed a happy man.

What with players returning from injuries and loans the squad suddenly looks much stronger - but we still need a striker for this season at least- next season we’ve got Silva back with a year’s experience, a bagful of goals and the confidence to go with it.

Looks like Fosun still mean business after all.

7.) 18 Aug 2022 13:52:50
Come on Fosun!
Get a striker in for Saturday now please.

8.) 18 Aug 2022 14:09:06
John Percy just confirmed via twitter that MGW sold to Notts Forest for agreed £35m plus significant add-ons.
As much as it’s be nice to see him develop, we couldn’t turn that down! Great piece of business in my eyes.
Great business

9.) 18 Aug 2022 14:15:41
Mgw gone forest 45 million

10.) 18 Aug 2022 14:20:11
Looks like we are moving in the right direction I had started to wonder what was going on with the departure of cody and Fabio.i have just seen this looks like it could be good business if it were to happen.

michy batshuayi to wolves?

Anyone remember a player by the name of Matheus Nines?

Rincewolves

1.) 31 Dec 2023 13:45:44
Isn’t he the one setting the football world alight up at Man City? ???☹️

2.) 31 Dec 2023 14:24:51
Who's that?

3.) 31 Dec 2023 16:48:58
Jiminez scores on his return from suspension 4 goals now in ad many games.
Good win for spurs as Bournemouth were 2 games in hand on us 3 points behind.
Our good is -1 Bournemouth-8 not 100%.

We win our next league game should be guaranteed top 10 asxawaybat Brighton who 8th 2 points above us.

Wouldn't be surprising to me if lopetegi is at our next home match in charge of man utd.

Re, Nunes think will come good as a squad player for City, as KDB is nearing comeback.

4.) 31 Dec 2023 18:28:01
Saw that phil, poor defending by arsenal but slotted in nicely. Another ex wolf who's name I don't mention scored a cracker against man u, could be the the goal that'll prompt them to change things and I agree lopetegui most likely to take over. It'd be an interesting return to the mol if he does.

5.) 31 Dec 2023 18:59:06
Yes Abbey forgot about MGW.
On a football view his goal agaisnt utd was quality.
Can't see utd not sacking their manager.

6.) 31 Dec 2023 19:09:06
It's an interesting dilemma spurs and Bournemouth I suppose a draw would have suited us, same as Brighton V West Ham tomorrow.

All we can do is use this run as a starting point for the rest of the season.

I suspect Utd will only make a managerial change once they can't qualify for Europe either through the league or fa cup, but who knows.

Little off topic, but last game shown again on MotD very little analysis, of course we have the how bad Everton are doing with the back the. A little shoe horn in from Gary Liniker, "Wolves are doing well aren't they?"
Yeah they are good to watch.
No analysis for wolves again then? I've if the better matches of the day

Rince.the level of coverage we get across the whole media is low. Not sure why our PR Dept. can't raise our profile.
Internally, they do a good job, one example coverage of the Wolves Foundation, which does such great work.
Separately.
Wolves "Man of the Year".Hobbs.
Worked well in the first part of 2023 with Lopetequi to pull off the "Miracle of Molyneux" in the second half of last season.
His decision to appoint O'Neil (and it was his responsibility) .and that is going well!
ps
Yesterday, in 3rd game in 8 days, was for me our best team performance.
Long may it continue.Happy New Year All!

2.) 31 Dec 2023 09:56:09
Does it matter? In fairness I would like to see us go quietly about climbing the table with no huge fanfare! I'm not sure we've turned a corner but I believe it's the first 3 on the bounce in the Prem since Lage was manager in Jan 22. We looked at that point like we could have sneaked into Europe. A couple of months later we imploded against Leeds which led to two seasons of angst.

Let's see how the next 4 league games go against Man U, Brighton, Brentford and Chelsea again.

3.) 31 Dec 2023 10:16:34
Agreed not much analysis but Keown's comment about Sarabia turning Tarkowski inside out and having to buy a ticket to get back into the ground was entertaining!

4.) 31 Dec 2023 11:40:09
Yes Ken68 I enjoyed that one. It would be nice to get some Media recognition for the way we have developed under GON, after all they seemed quick enough to stick the boot in when JL left. My problem with the Media is the constant links to our players moving away after a few good games. We seem to be building a good youngish team again, both in quality and spirit. It drives me nuts when one or two get linked to the so called big 6.
Anyway Happy New Year everyone.

28 Dec 2023 00:51:24
We played ok tonight. Brentford were woeful but they still put a lot of dangerous balls into our box. The ones we didn't deal with Brentford couldn't capitalise.
However a good shift from the boys, they visually looked tired so a real good win here.
I wonder if there was a clause in Colin's sake stating he had to give back any goals he cost us previously?

Might be controversial but I think Sa would have saved each of the goals. I like Bentley but I think it has been highlighted why he is number 2 keeper today

Rincewolves

1.) 17 Dec 2023 15:55:27
That's not controversial at all, Rince.Extremely poor performance today. Can't defend and can't create is a bad recipe.Apart from perhaps Cunha everyone was verging on dire whilst Hwang spent the game working out how to spend his new contract money.

2.) 17 Dec 2023 16:06:29
Even King would have saved those Bentley seemed uninterested today.

3.) 17 Dec 2023 16:18:22
Bentley is a championship keeper at best, after 14 mins. I thought sarabia, bellegarde would at some point be replaced, ??
For me. Wrong starting line up, definitely wrong substitutions, sorry. O'Neil's fault.
Hope we do better on Xmas eve.
Happy Xmas all on here.
Coyw

4.) 17 Dec 2023 16:25:47
Agree completely rince, Sa's speed and positioning would have been better. ONE TO FORGET says the club site. It's one they shouldn't be allowed to forget I'd say. Despite the scoreline WH didn't really pose a threat, we gave them the 3 opportunities and we couldn't muster anything but lame efforts and of course the narrow offside. Really couldn't work out what or where we were aiming to go. Nobody seemed to have a plan or system up front and hwang was doing more damage than good. Oh well onwards to Chelsea on Xmas eve and the hope we deliver at the mol or its going to be sullen couple of days til Brentford.

5.) 17 Dec 2023 16:29:53
Xmas ruined again thanks to a dismal performance from Wolves, I hope we can bring in some quality players and make the new year more exciting. Whishing all my fellow posters and their families a merry Xmas and a fantastic new year.

6.) 17 Dec 2023 16:40:22
Brian Clough philosophy was if you get a top goalkeeper you already have half a defence, it seems we shop at Poundland. To be honest we are awful to watch the last few games, we don't even start trying to p!ay for the first half hour. I like Toti but he needs taking out the firing line and given a rest, mind you we have no one else. When teams like West Ham outclass you then you have problems. I think there are serious doubts regarding GON now, we have no motivation.

7.) 17 Dec 2023 17:06:31
I agree, Bentley is way out of his depth and needs replacing. Overall, a very disappointing performance by all of our players. I think Doyle will be knocking on GON's door asking for a few starts.

8.) 17 Dec 2023 18:59:13
Bentley wouldn’t get in a Sunday League side!

9.) 17 Dec 2023 21:04:37
Rubbish Oxley. Weren't you watching today? ? ??

10.) 18 Dec 2023 08:06:14
Best wishes Greyleg and baza merry Xmas.

11.) 18 Dec 2023 10:21:31
Yes I was watching OW, were you?…neither would the rest on todays performance!

23 Sep 2023 21:35:39
The way I see it.
Wise performance I have seen from us for a while. Hwang making silly mistakes as was most of the midfield. A bad day at the office.
Bellegade (apologies for spelling) silly for lashing out, but he did look like he was getting some pain. It was a red card however.
This left GON with the option of suring up the back and catching Luton on the break, or throwing strikers on and risk being countered. He chose the former.
It would have worked if it says not for the bad officiating today.
Still a very bad performance from us a lucky break for Luton, who if I'm honest did deserve something from the game. Is GON the answer? Jury is still out. But we certainly have to do better a very bad day at the office

a good workman never blames his tools. (of which some we have sold on) however, it seems football is different. i do not think we have a bad squad, lacking depth maybe but certainly something that could be worked with. i am sure jl has his reasons, but i think wolves being on solid foundations of the most important thing currently
