The 'Sold Out' signs should be going up today as I grabbed the very last ticket for this Saturdays game last night.
Another long day ahead on Saturday. I can't wait, especially for a pint of proper Banks's in The Style!

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 26 Sep 2018 12:05:15
I tried last Thursday but was told the match was sold out.

2.) 26 Sep 2018 15:08:48
Jas, the only thing I can assume is that the one I got must have come up for resale. Sorry mate!

3.) 27 Sep 2018 07:41:15
Enjoy your "baya" northumberland wolf and the match of course. 👍.

4.) 28 Sep 2018 07:14:41
Cheers Phil, and good to read that your bro's on the mend.

Anyone heard about Everton about to make an approach for Nuno? Surely he will never go?

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 01 Nov 2017 10:41:53
Yeah - worrying isn't it.

It’d be hard to see him leave - but its also hard to see the upside for him. If we didn't get promoted this season then I could see it happening - but surely, once in the prem, we’d be spending big money and building something special here.

Everton, with the greatest of respect to a very established premier league club, are a mid-table team and have been for many years. A glorified feeder club with and ageing team. Why would you take the position.?

2.) 01 Nov 2017 11:48:18
I hope so, but I'm worried too.

Hopefully Nuno's project has just started and he won't want to move on just yet. Unless Everton produce £200m to spend in the transfer window, I suppose, in which case we might find Jota and Neves following him :- (.

3.) 01 Nov 2017 17:13:08
Everton are stale were on the up plus nuno is in with fosun so is mendes I think he’s enjoying what he is building here.

4.) 01 Nov 2017 19:59:23
I really expect more comings and goings in Jan. Probably 4 out 4 in. Nuno will strengthen for sure to see this season through and us move up with additional preparation.

Just my view. 😉⚽️👍.

5.) 01 Nov 2017 20:47:10
Who do you think will leave?

6.) 02 Nov 2017 07:16:49
I can't see us keeping 6 defenders ie centre backs kortney might go on loan.

7.) 02 Nov 2017 14:12:20
Euroman ; I think Deslandes, Marshall and Zyro will go in January - maybe loan out Ronan, Gibbs-White and Wilson too.

If Ofusu-Ayeh is still out I can see Iorfa being brought back as cover for Doherty. I think we will definitely sign a striker though who I have no idea.

8.) 02 Nov 2017 21:30:25
I can see zyro daslandes, Wilson going, think I'd keep Marshall, and Hauser, but we must get a extra sticker for the run in.

9.) 03 Nov 2017 02:04:59
If you think that's what we need, then Panini's the man.

10.) 03 Nov 2017 10:52:41
Nuno will continue selling/ loaning out certain players and replacing them with better. Our squad has been unbelievably upgraded in this way with relatively little spent compared to the quality brought in.

11.) 03 Nov 2017 12:00:53
It’s the Batth Mystery: why was he left out of squad at Norwich? Could it be a falling out with Nuno? Could it be a January move to Leeds?

12.) 03 Nov 2017 18:15:19
Batth travelled to the match so he's not frozen out.

04 Oct 2017 21:52:54
Wolves for Ings in the Jan transfer window? Could do worse?

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 04 Oct 2017 23:48:32
Id take danny ings if he can stay fit he would be a vital kegs in the machine, need another striker not just for back up too Leo, but too net goals come end of year we don't want too be pushed out of 1st/ 2nd or even out of playoffs due too goal difference 👌.

2.) 05 Oct 2017 07:29:51
Inns when fit would be brilliant he is a goalscorer yes please.

3.) 05 Oct 2017 09:02:40
I did say ings last season only problem is klopp likes him to much that's why they got rid of origi so I can't see Liverpool letting him go but nice target that's the kind of striker we need.

4.) 05 Oct 2017 09:43:51
I like ings and agree on above comments if he is fit in january we could get him on loan for 2nd half of this season. I like that striker from porto we wete interested in in august excuse spelling abhkour. I think also we get promoted fosun will buy someone like ings and another stellar signing 30 40 million pound player.

5.) 05 Oct 2017 14:30:14
Danny Ings yes if fit, if not leave alone.

6.) 05 Oct 2017 22:31:15
Another pile of dross served up by Southgate's warriors tonight. England have zero chance of winning anything with him in charge.

7.) 08 Oct 2017 08:33:16
Brimble - I don't think it's Southgate's fault. The issue comes from the fact that 80% of England's top clubs are foreign owned, 80% are foreign managed/ coached and have 80% foreign players. It's little wonder then that the England team is only 20% as good as it once was. If that!

8.) 08 Oct 2017 13:25:55
No excuse for the football if you can call it football they tried to play the other night DAS.
Smaller countries than ours have played football far better than we played the other night, we were awful but let's look on the bright side at least we qualified which is the most important thing and the football cannot be no worser surely than we played the other night in future matches, just hope it was a 1 off game of football.
Any more performances like the other night then surely in my opinion Southgate and is staff have to go because to be honest who would pay good money to watch that.

9.) 10 Oct 2017 11:46:20
You will find that Mendes will sort our striker position out in january with Nuno, also I think we will get a defender.
We have one of the best football agents in football if not the best so there is no need to worry Wolves fans, exciting times ahead realy proud to be a Wolves fan at the moment, may it long continue, best football we are playing for years at the moment.

31 Aug 2017 07:34:20
Any ideas if Costa is staying?

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 31 Aug 2017 08:05:06
Unlike to go anywhere till january, still injured and we are reluctant to sell, if promotion doesn't look likely in January expect Costa to go for financial fair play reasons.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 09:35:09
By jab lol there will be 5 month left to go up a lot of games stll.

28 Oct 2016 06:47:27
WM reporting Pearson already interviewed. Too volatile for my liking? .

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 28 Oct 2016 06:59:23
Also he just isn't good enough! So what he saved Leicester after a great escape. If he was that good there would have been no need for an escape! Phil Neville for me.

2.) 28 Oct 2016 09:05:51
So let me get this right. You'd prefer someone with no experience over someone who has a promotion from this league. Pearson may be volatile but he has the experience of this league.

3.) 28 Oct 2016 10:23:41
Pearson is clear favourite with the bookies this morning. If it's Pearson for the job, I won't like it, but maybe it's what we need.

Someone said Doughie Freedman has the job but this just looks like guesswork now.

Does anybody actually know anything or are we just following the bookies' odds?

4.) 28 Oct 2016 10:28:52
Pearson wouldn't be my 1st choice but certainly better than 50% of the names that have been banded around.
Would prefer Big Sam.
Wouldnt say Pearsons a bad choice but will do a job for now.

5.) 28 Oct 2016 10:34:29
Not good enough!? He had an amazing season with Leicester, won the league in his second season (by a landslide! ) And got them to play offs in his first season of his second spell, a no brainer for me!

6.) 28 Oct 2016 11:07:31
I thought Freedman had got the job anyway lol.

7.) 28 Oct 2016 11:40:50
So you'd much rather an unproven manager. Why not stick with Edwards then?

8.) 28 Oct 2016 11:57:53
I wouldn't read too much into Pearson being interviewed. I imagine there will be others as well.

Also, regarding Phil Neville, I can't see anything in his track record that makes me agree with you. I would be interested in your reasons for this suggestion.

9.) 28 Oct 2016 13:43:38
Its pretty obvious that Pearson Freedman and Ince have applied for the job and Wilmots has been recommended by Mendes doesn't mean any of them will get the job. Looks like Thelwell been given the task to recruit Walters replacement it will either make or break him! I would like to throw a name out, has a very good managerial record including English clubs, plays decent football and is available, Martin Jol, at least give him an interview Kev.

10.) 28 Oct 2016 15:28:35
Paul Lambert is supposed to be in the frame. I would be against him, he had a good record before going to villa and Blackburn and it was more the way the clubs were run at the time. Could redeem himself at wolves maybe.

11.) 28 Oct 2016 16:08:27
Well if names are being thrown in I would offer up Jean Tigana. Got Fulham promoted from this division and established in the prem playing great football.

12.) 28 Oct 2016 16:19:23
Mendes wants Wilmots, Silva, Perreira or Zola and Shi wants a British man like Big Sam or Pearson who would upset the applecart. He basically has to be careful not to risk losing all of the players Mendes is currently bringing in, so Mendes wins, for now.

13.) 28 Oct 2016 17:01:02
No he doesn't win as Thelwell has been put in charge of finding a manage.
What players would we lose worth worrying about? Costa is about the only one.

14.) 28 Oct 2016 17:38:01
What about Nigel Adkins look at what he did with Southampton?

15.) 28 Oct 2016 18:09:04
Martin Jol?
Nigel Adkins?
Good shouts.
Forget Freedman, Ince and Co.
No foreigners either unless they are prepared to move home here.

16.) 28 Oct 2016 20:17:23
Big Sam says he won't take a club until next year what a shame 😔.

17.) 28 Oct 2016 23:49:35
Ian Holloway has the best track record in championship. surely he's worth an approach. regardless of what went on with KJ.

18.) 29 Oct 2016 10:15:03
Ian Holloway.

Id rather Tony Mowbray.

19.) 29 Oct 2016 22:19:44
Ex baggie no thanks.

Really hope we can take all three points tonight, as I won't hear the last of it here in Newcastle tomorrow at work.
On another note could we all give my Dad a thought please. He has been in hospital for the last month and is still not well. He has spent decades at Wolves working as a tour guide and looks after the matchday sponsors. He first took me to Molineux in 1970 and is Old Gold and Black through and through. He is 86 and was still working up until falling ill before Christmas. He may have taken some of you around the ground. Harry is his name. Thanks folks.

1.) 11 Feb 2019 16:37:21
Certainly will be thinking of your dad Northumberland, I've had a loss today and a wOlves win is needed in our household to lift the spirits. I remember a smashing bloke a few years ago taking me and my son pitch side (without any arrangements) I know he'd been in RAF. Let him know all the pack is with him and I hope we stuff the magpies convincingly. Best wishes.

2.) 11 Feb 2019 17:33:49
Thank you abbywolf and so sorry to hear you've had a loss today. We are one as a football community we all feel the highs and lows together. Be strong and enjoy tonights game.

3.) 11 Feb 2019 18:30:52
Cheers mate, you don't know how that lifts me. Come on you wolves.

Northumberland Wolf and abbywolf, the pack are all with you. let's hope the boys can do you proud and help lift you.

Will the 800 tickets on sale at 9am tomorrow morning be to foot traffic or online because all of a sudden I fancy getting in the car and making the 500 mile round trip.

Northumberland Wolf

1.) 11 Aug 2018 07:22:11
Surprised to read your post Northumberland, I thought it was a complete sell out and have just checked on line and can’t find any tickets on sale. Hope you don’t have a wasted journey.

2.) 11 Aug 2018 08:24:42
Apparently they are opening the Graham Hughes Stand sdav78. Only seen it posted on fb, so hope it’s true!

3.) 11 Aug 2018 12:02:51

Carl retiring from football. Thank you for your amazing service to the club Carl. So glad your road to recovery is going in the right direction. Sad we won't see you between the 'sticks' again.
Good luck with all you do in the future.

Sad news Carl, but you won your biggest battle 👍 Good luck with whatever you do in the future and thank you for everything. 👍.

2.) 27 Jul 2018 11:58:48
He'll always be a legend. I've met him a few times now and he always takes time out to speak with the fans. Genuinely a nice guy who'll be missed by all us Wolves fans. Thank you for everything Carl.

3.) 27 Jul 2018 13:09:22
Good luck Carl. You've been a wonderful ambassador for the club.
Wishing you continued good health.

4.) 27 Jul 2018 13:32:58
Thanks Carl always number one. Hope everything goes well for you in the future and your health stays good. Perhaps you and Matty could do a double for sky!

5.) 27 Jul 2018 13:45:44
Good luck Carl in your retirement . Shame we won’t see you in our goals again but health is more important then work . All the best stay well.

6.) 27 Jul 2018 14:16:40
Well said, just watched the interview with tears in my eyes. A Wolves man through and through.

7.) 27 Jul 2018 14:25:06
Yeah sad news. Genuine decent humble gentleman. Has been a great servant to our club and is befitting of a testimonial. wolves v super eagles? Have seen some great games and at times battles where Ikeme has earned us a draw/ win. Main thing thou is, he is winning, and hopefully won, the most important battle in his life. So good luck Carl in whatever you choose to do. Thankyou for everything. Looking forward to seeing you with your family down the Molineux, hopefully on the pitch for the first game of the season where we can give you the ovation you truly deserve. Always a wolf. TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.

8.) 27 Jul 2018 15:50:53
Second everything said here. good luck Carl.

9.) 27 Jul 2018 17:04:44
Excellent post Bradmore I second everything you said.
The super eagles testimonial is a brilliant idea. Hopefully Kemes will get an ambassadorial role at Mol, or working with the kids, what an inspiration he would be. Hopefully he is able to come to the 1st home game, what a reception he would get. #wolvesaywe🐺.

10.) 27 Jul 2018 18:53:18
Cheers AndyThompsonpen, agree with what you say about a role at the club for Carl. Yeah imagine the reception, 1st home game, back in the prem, packed Molineux that will be rocking. Fingers crossed. So maybe somebody on here with connections or close to the club could suggest the super eagles testimonial with all the proceeds going to Cure lukemia?
TogetherWeAreStonger🐺.

14 Jun 2018 13:47:17
For years we have had a reputation of turning on our team when things aren't going right. With the exposure we are going to get from now on, does anyone feel the same as me that we should make Molineux a cauldron of noise EVERY home match, win lose or draw.
I think Stoke had the title as the noisiest fans in the Prem ( I might be wrong) so why don't we aim at taking this title.
Spread the word.

1.) 14 Jun 2018 17:00:39

2.) 14 Jun 2018 21:06:47
lol and villa fans fighting at Wembley after 2 years in championship.

3.) 15 Jun 2018 06:32:01
More like league 2 Dappa, there’s no way they can raise 50 million in two transfer seasons by selling three player.

Abbeywolf, regarding your comment about young wolf cubs. I was chatting with an avid NUFC fan yesterday, who was telling me he has had to buy his 8 year old son a full Wolves kit as from last season he has become an avid Wolves fan. The lad walks round Newcastle city centre in his full kit while is Dad is wearing his Mags top.
How good is that?
Wolves are getting bigger by the day in the North East!

My interpretation of the offside rule is where a player is when the ball is played. When Raul played the ball Jota was definateley onside, or is there some other ruling that I'm missing?

Excellent post BB. You've put in words exactly what I've been thinking whenever I read any negative posts. There seems to be a lot of 'experts' out there who are quick to post their comments without using the 10 second rule. Read, think, post. or not.
Following the Spurs game I was buzzing with what I had seen, and on another day both Costa's and Raul's efforts would have gone in.
We are being entertained, we are getting value for money, we have an amazing manager, amazing owners, and we are all together as one.
I first saw Wolves as a kid in 1970, I still whenever I can drive four hours for games (8 hour round trip) to see my team.
