First 15 minutes great. The rest was abysmal, yes 3 points and we move on but second half was atrocious. That’s not game management, that’s poor game management. 3 really bad defensive errors cost them tonight. Gomes by far mom for me. And yet they give it Toti.

What? 3-1 up, knackered squad, defending to do because you knew they'd come at you and main striker off. That's 45mins to keep shape and hold on to the ball, OLE. and still hit the post and score a 4th. How would you have managed it Kenzie? What would you have expected?. GON knew what was needed and we took 3 points. Any goals a goal but if the opposition makes a mistake we've got to be ready for it. We knew what collins is like and we players on the alert for it. Abysmal from a true footballing spectacle maybe, a well managed 3points away from home it was.

2.) 28 Dec 2023 19:52:17
Kenzie - hope you didn't watch Chelsea because we were Brazil 1970 compared to the weekend. In reality I think there was only a 20 -25 min period at the start of the 2nd half when we were under real pressure and although they were poor that is their problem.
We played MU off the park earlier on this year and got zero points so I've no worries taking 6 points from these last two games although as I say once omre I didn't think we were bad at all v Brentford?

3.) 28 Dec 2023 19:52:56
Agree Abbeywolf, not sure what Kenzie expects, players looked knackered with only 48 hrs turn around and Brentford 10 days to prepare, I thought good game management same as you, good 3 points, onwards and upwards

4.) 28 Dec 2023 19:57:59
I agree Abbey. Not sure what you expected Kenzie. Yes, Brentford made mistakes, but we capitalized on them. Most sports are like that, somebody makes a mistake like a bad pass or out of position and the other team takes advantage to score. The difference in most games are who capitalizes more than the other. Once we got 2 goal lead, we were more defensive as we should be, so that is why i guess you think we weren't "playing well". It was nervy at times, but we didn't make anything easy for them to get back into the game. 3 points away from home is good no matter how it is achieved.

5.) 29 Dec 2023 10:22:29
Not sure either really, poor game management yes for conceding straight after going 2-0 up as in the Chelsea game. Kilman and GON need to stamp that out. Overall though thought our strategy against Brentford in the second half was great. We've often been criticised for not beating teams of similar league position or below us, but we did it and in style. Guess you can't keep everyone satisfied. I really don't care if it was a poor Chelsea side, or if some of Brentford's first team were absent we've suffered similarly. Two wins, 6 points, thanks very much.

I have been saying this for over a month now, but got slated by a few. GON is not the answer, we have no identity whatsoever. Papering over cracks. Woeful last match and it will only get worse. Even Dyche has his players buying into what he is trying to do. GON simply Championship standard. Just a yes man due to not being offered anything else

Wrong priority Kenzie.
Our biggest need is decent CEO. One who doesn't waste huge money on poor players, builds strong partnerships/sponsorships to build decent income and redevelops the Stadium for comfort and more revenue increases.
Because of Shi's proflagacy, we have no money to support the manager and he is left with a very weak squad.
No, new CEO please!

2.) 19 Dec 2023 09:40:25
Having looked at the next six fixtures I think we will be lucky if we win one of them.

3.) 19 Dec 2023 09:56:34
Ask the players and GON definitely has an identity and vision they are working towards. Also bear in mind this is still basically the squad Lopetegui said wasn't good enough. The results against City, Villa and others show this isn't true so let's not get too down and slating GON after a few bad results. The season is 38 games and given our squad and the way we play we will have good and bad runs but our league position is maybe slightly lower than where we should finish.

A few decent ref decisions in the rest of the season will fix that though.

4.) 19 Dec 2023 11:14:14
It's a bit harsh Kenzie, I agree we've looked abit woeful at times but I think GON has his plans but for some bad luck with ref/var we'd be looking pretty good points wise. On Sunday it was a toe that stopped us scoring and had it been given I think we'd have taken something. I'd expect a more energetic performance on Xmas eve and if neto and Sa are back, RAN starting fully fit and samedo gets it right I'd expect 3 points.
I said before the game v WH we always seemed to Labour at their ground and it proved true. Brentford will be hard Everton a challenge but I think the squad know what the plan is and it's not all doom and gloom. We all rightly mean when it goes wrong but get behind the team we've got and a new learning as he goes manager. Keep the faith COYW

5.) 19 Dec 2023 11:39:08
Kenzie. You made your criticism, ok that you are obviously entitled to do. At least offer your solution based on our current situation. For instance which top class managers are queuing up to come to Wolves? With next to no money to spend I'm not sure there will be any. I'll be interested in your positive thoughts.

6.) 19 Dec 2023 12:19:47
Loving the negativity on here after a couple of below par performances which still yielded 4 pts. Too many on here have short memories. So many have already forgotten the pts lost to VAR and where we should be pts wise. It seems to me it is too easy for many on here to moan and criticise at every opportunity.I honestly believe they love to moan.Well, I'm done on here reading the negativity.
I'll enjoy my match day visits to Molineux. All the best to the good ones on here.

7.) 19 Dec 2023 15:34:31
Rugeley, is this the same CEO who was lambasted over the summer for selling Neves, Raul and Nunes etc? The one most people blamed and stated had ruined our great club. Or the CEO who foresaw the issues at Chelsea, Everton, Man City, Villa, Palace and Forest and decided to take decisive action.

Shi is a marmite type figure. You either love him or hate him.

I know people will go on about how he's wasted money on Fabio Silva but name me a club that hasn't got a dud player currently. Even the great Pep has made mistakes with Phillips and Nunes.

8.) 19 Dec 2023 17:16:14
Lopetegui left because of Jeff's meddling. Everything else is a story to cover for Jeff the footballing genius.

9.) 19 Dec 2023 21:11:35
Kenzie hard to argue with your comments on Dyche who has clearly got Everton playing far far better than many would have imagined.
However I am sure you are awware that many (Wolves fan) posters on social media would have had apoplexy if you had suggested this a few months ago when we were looking for a manager.
It would be almost as heinous as suggesting Kilman or Sa or heaven forbid Doherty should play for Wolves next week!
In all seriousness maybe Dyche was actually appointed at Everton because their squad perfectly fits his style of play? However I don't think many would say that our squad, as currently formed, fits.
Dyche plays a high intensity power game that requires big athletic players something we haven't had for many years now!

10.) 20 Dec 2023 06:48:38
Sorry Jas, his profligacy goes beyond Silva.Guedes, Semedo etc.

No, the FFP issue lies squarely at his door.He is lucky he has Hobbs, who secured excellent transfer fees for those that went.

11.) 20 Dec 2023 07:00:03
Everton their form is said to be due to key players returning from injury.

05 Dec 2023 22:18:28
I personally think we are papering over cracks. We have been poor last 3-4 games. Sorry but GON is and will never be the answer. Slow, ponderous football, no intent, no desire, sideways football. And at the end of the day What top class players can he attract.

Kenzie191_

1.) 05 Dec 2023 23:02:09
You've been saying the same thing for over a year now. You didn't like Lage or Lopetegui's football style and now your unhappy with GON.

How you feeling about Neto now because last season you said he wasn't any good and we needed to get rid.

2.) 05 Dec 2023 23:43:24
It’s my personal opinion. I have a right to that. Since Nuno it’s not been good enough. Are you happy with this football we are playing?

3.) 05 Dec 2023 23:47:07
Yes Jas and been correct every time. Glad you agree.

4.) 06 Dec 2023 05:55:39
Agree on what?

5.) 06 Dec 2023 06:50:41
Gee Kenzie you’re a hard marker! We might not be a great football team but I see no evidence of a lack of desire. I think it more balanced to say we are doing as well as can be expected given the lack of depth in our squad. Certainly too early to write off GON. Have a little faith, my friend!

6.) 06 Dec 2023 20:18:29
Problem is Kenzie your comparing apples and pairs! What GON would do for a first team with the kind of quality we had for most of Nunos reign! Neves, Jota, pre injury Raúl (when he was a 15-20 goal a season striker), pre injury Jonny (when he was starting for Spain), Moutinho (near his peak), Patricio (again near his peak)! That's over half the sqaud, most of which when we signed um were ALREADY playing Champs League footy!
Now look what GON has to work with, don't get me wrong there's talent there but most of it is potiential talent. Gomes, Doyle and Bellegarde could all do as well as those cms listed above but (like GON) they need time. I think GON is doing fantastic work with the hand he's been dealt, there's not many on here that wouldn't have taken ya hand off for 12th place almost half a season in (myself included). Saddly the truth of the matter is we operate at a different (lower) level these days financially (especially wages). Add to all that we have been literally robbed (or VARed as I like to call it:) of 7-9 points this season. With all that in mind and having been given the task of staying clear of the drop I'm not sure how much more GON can do?!

7.) 08 Dec 2023 11:27:55
The only part ofthe above I disagree with Bullys is your apples and pairs. It's pears, my old fruit!

29 Oct 2022 23:53:48
If Traore doesn't want to be be here then get rid, should have happened a season ago. Yes undoubted talent but you wouldn't think he was playing for his future. Why not just leave him on the half way line and just get him to run with balls over the top. Killman is a massive concern too, there was a reason Nuno never trusted him, against Leicester he was a liability. Neto another, are we all blinkered, we are papering over cracks here. Steve Davis completely out of his depth. Lopeteugui? May as well get Nuno back, same conservative football. Anybody watch Leeds, not great but at least they have a identity with a coach, love or hate him at least he wears his heart on his sleeve. Fulham tonight, had identity, knew what they were doing. Intense football, why are we different

Kenzie191_

1.) 30 Oct 2022 02:30:39
Steve has had them for 3 games and gotten 4 points which isn’t exactly bad.

What are you on about with Traore? The only reason we scored today is because of him.

Nuno also didn’t trust having a large squad and look where that left us. What a silly comment about Max who not long ago had people calling for him to get a cap. What a load of tosh.

Neto has been injured and has had an awful time whilst also playing out of position in a team lacking confidence.

And way to rip Julen apart cause Nuno was prolific before he came to us and has done so well since being sacked by spurs after how long? And giving up and going to Saudi?

Yeah I watched Leeds who rode their luck and their silly manager doing all the Ted Lasso theatrics. Would rather have someone that knows what they are doing and not some yank that has to rely on a defender and goalkeeper fluffing. I mean Forest managed to do the same but would you say they are amazing?!?! And Fulham. Really? Ahahaha. The team that let in 2 goals a game and have a leakier defence than ours? I mean one of the only times they haven’t conceded 2 was against us and Villa who were down to ten men.

I mean we have taken more points from our last 3 games than Brentford have. Brentford have 2 points from their last 3 games with a manager everyone overhypes.

29 Oct 2022 23:07:20
We haven't changed since Nunos last year in charge. We are devoid of any intent, urgency, no identity. Players look like they have already played a full season. I'm begging Fosun to be transparent with us fans, what is their intent. Fork out the money to get Thelwell and Dalrymple back.
