Hi folkes who would you like as new manager if we sack O'Neill

KIDDYWOLF71

1.) 03 Nov 2024 14:12:03
Moyes, I know a few want Potter but I don't think Potter has the experience in a relegation scrap that we are going to need, Moyes has that experience.

2.) 03 Nov 2024 14:28:04
Brandon Rogers

3.) 03 Nov 2024 14:39:39
Brendon

4.) 03 Nov 2024 15:01:47
Harry Houdini but even be couldn't escape Wolves fate!

5.) 03 Nov 2024 15:08:59
Unfortunately what you wish for and what you get may not be what you want. Fosun may no longer attract a top manager and those out of work have usually failed elsewhere. I do feel sorry for Gary who’s had the rug pulled from underneath him but some of yesterdays individual performances were alarming.

6.) 03 Nov 2024 15:16:06
Moyes, because he could sort the defence out. Might not be pretty but would hopefully get some points on the board, but I'd be surprised if the club could agree a deal with him. Potter is a good manager but he needs time to get a team to progress. He wouldn't have that luxury at Wolves.

Although GON needs to go, based on the track record of appointments by the current board I'd be nervous about who would get the job. Also based on giving GON a 4 year deal in the summer I don't expect we have a shortlist of replacements to hand so it's likely to be a short sighted, cheap, panic appointment.

7.) 03 Nov 2024 16:04:40
Think moyes would get us out of trouble think GON
needs to be relieved of his duties by tomorrow

8.) 03 Nov 2024 16:34:47
Doesn’t matter who we want, who would come to us? It’s still a prem job and there are only 20 so perhaps that still makes it attractive. I really want GON to succeed and I think the Southampton game will tell us if he stays or goes. If he does go we need experience so Moyes ticks that box albeit it not the best brand of football played. Jose wants to mange a team at the bottom and we certainly tick that box.

9.) 03 Nov 2024 16:41:57
When we sack GON. Not if. He shouldn't be in charge for the Saints game.

10.) 03 Nov 2024 16:58:23
Personally I'd like Big Sam.

Local boy done good.

Wolves fan.

Experienced and despite what people say, actually plays decent football.

He said years ago that he'd never manage us because he's a fan first and foremost.

Failing that, Moyes, Mancini (dreaming), Edin Terzic, Sergio Conciecao. I'd even consider Frank Lampard as at least he likes to play attacking football.

Money isn't the issue as the club were paying Lopetegui £8m a year until he walked away. None of those I've mentioned, with the exception of Mancini would command more than we paid Lopetegui.

11.) 03 Nov 2024 18:29:46
Fosun have always gone for an out of work manager and they will do that again. Without knowing GONs contract details no one knows how much it's going to cost to make a change. I would be inclined to go for Moyes.

We need someone who can sort the defence out quickly, attract decent players in the January window, and play attractive attacking football at the same time.

12.) 03 Nov 2024 20:02:15
All of the managers I mentioned are currently without clubs

13.) 03 Nov 2024 20:07:33
Well apart from your first point that rules moyes out

14.) 03 Nov 2024 20:14:14
Yeh.but is it moyes just to try to keep us up n then nxt ssn with no investment go thru the same.playing crap boring football that the whu fans hated or put up with it and struggle again.i didn't want gon.but came around to him.but looking at last ssn and thia ssn 1win in 20games.bloody hell.even a sunfay pub team would get rid.hr played sarabia because why.the media said so.hes got ran running around not k owing what to do

15.) 03 Nov 2024 20:19:11
Oops only part way thru that rant.hes got ran not lnowing what to do.dawson moving fwd and losing the ball everytime.bueno has actually steppwd up to the challenge and I think has improved alot.wer reliant on cunha.obviously.jsl os doing decent work.gomes aswell.it seems like gon doesn't know how to play anymore from his wel adapt to each team tactics to havnt got a clue and the players havnt got a clue either.its just a mess.and gon has gone too far now to get us out of this mess.1more game.thats his lot

16.) 03 Nov 2024 22:12:17
Buxwolf. No more games. His time is up. We need 3 points from the Saints game. My worry is that we do scrape a win with GON and Fosun decide to persevere with him.

17.) 03 Nov 2024 23:11:24
Mourinho.

18.) 03 Nov 2024 18:42:14
I can't believe people want to give him more time.bournmouth did not sack him because they seen this incredible talent, they sacked him so they wouldn't be where we are today.every game that passes is 1 less chance to safety.

19.) 04 Nov 2024 09:32:57
Well said demon.

20.) 04 Nov 2024 17:29:49
Probably should have added ideally before we need!

I'm going to keep this simple FOSUN BRING BACK NUNO

KIDDYWOLF71

1.) 22 Oct 2022 12:53:25
No really no.

2.) 22 Oct 2022 12:58:15
No thankyou.

3.) 22 Oct 2022 13:20:31
Move on mate.
It would be like getting back together after a divorce!
Never the same second time around.

4.) 22 Oct 2022 13:39:24
We seem to have gone backwards get him back I say

5.) 22 Oct 2022 14:03:17
We went backwards with his last season with us which a few seem to have forgotten, the rot started in his final season with us.
Move on it was already proved he couldn't hack it with a big team look at how Spurs worked out for him.
I don't buy the lockdown, no fans etc as an excuse every other team had the same, a lot of managers couldn't see their families either.

6.) 22 Oct 2022 14:21:20
We are a joke no manager been turned down I still say nuno nuno

7.) 22 Oct 2022 19:57:23
Not been on here to often so just my thoughts which are I’m not 100 per cent sure bringing Nuno back is the answer ( never go back bla bla bla ) but I’m no where near 100 per cent it isn’t the answer either and please don’t slate Nuno for his final season because even if there weren’t reasons ( injuries, Covid, changing system etc etc ) for us finishing 13th which obviously there were I think we would all snatch a giving hand off for that finishing position this season.
Anyway we are where we are now and our club needs everyone to get behind it as we could do with a minimum of 6 points before the break ?

8.) 22 Oct 2022 20:01:17
Oh and Nuno not hacking it at Spurs means nothing, the players didn’t want a manager from little old wolves and that was obvious to see in there commitment, we ain’t Spurs so totally irrelevant what went on there.

9.) 22 Oct 2022 20:19:02
Nuno nuno hope he comes back

10.) 22 Oct 2022 21:28:08
Tbh Kiddy mate although i'm against Nuno returning if he were to return he would ofcourse get my support 100%.
I just don't think we should be looking to the past to progress.

Question if the board sacked O’Neil (fingers crossed) who would be caretaker manager

Also I wonder if big Sam would want to take over for a short term maybe end of season is a wolves fan and was born local just a thought?
