Allegedly there has been a leak of the fixture schedule. If true a nice easy start for us against Man U (H), Liverpool (A) and the Arsenal (H).

Probably best to get United in early with what will probably be a much changed team. And we need to get one over Arsenal too after disappointing results against them back end of last season.

2.) 13 Jun 2022 17:26:30
I agree Kiddy best to try and catch these sides cold so to speak. Alternatively we don't want to drop points to promoted and strugglers early on if we have a bad start.

I was just wondering what the thoughts on Kilman being over-looked in the latest England squad? I feel sorry for him as I can't see what more he could have done to warrant a place in the squad considering the relative poor form of Maguire and Mings, but on the other side of the coin at least he won't pick up an injury.

Southgate is over rated and picks from a pool of players based on his personal favourites not the ones on form.

2.) 17 Mar 2022 21:25:06
Yet Maguire gets picked sums up Southgate perfectly not a clue what he's doing.

3.) 17 Mar 2022 22:43:42
Whilst I do agree that he deserved a place and also that Southgate has rarely been a fan of our players (I wonder why that might be:). I would also just point out that every cb in that team bar Coady plays in a four man defence for their club! To be honest I only think Coady gets the nod because they've seen what an inspiration he is to have around the rest of the team. Steve Holland (Southgates Assistant Manager) said before the final at the Euros that Coady was his player of the tournament, not for what he did on the pitch but what he brings to the dressing room!
The bizarre thing is that Southgate could again opt for 3 at the back but I still think he tends to prefer those CB's playing in a 4-4-2.Mostly cause its how he used to play at CB and he lacks the imagination to see what those other lads could bring to the table! ?

4.) 18 Mar 2022 09:00:07
My issue with Southgate is his hypocrisy. Remember a few years ago when people were 1st mentioning Coady for England, he came out and said he would not consider anyone to play for England who didn't have experience of PL football and he selected Mason Mount who at that stage was playing for Derby and had NO PL experience.

He's done the same with Grealish. Overlooked him whilst he was playing well every week for Villa but is now a regular after a big money move and being used on a rotation basis at Man City.

5.) 18 Mar 2022 11:03:37
Agree Jas. As much as I get that he's taken England to a final and a semi final, I can't get over the hypocrisy towards Coady. He did the same with Kalvin Phillips as well, selecting him when he'd never played a minute in the Premier League.

Club partnerships should be part of the thinking at international level. A couple of friendlies was a good time to try a back 3 including Kilman and Coady especially with other defenders not in form. If Kilman played as well as he has done this season in a Chelsea, Liverpool or Utd shirt he'd not just be in the England squad but he'd be starting every game.

6.) 18 Mar 2022 11:29:52
Even funnier is how Southgate has steered us to a World Cup semi final and Euro final whilst playing 3 CB's and 2 wing backs and still Coady gets overlooked for Maguire, Mings, Stones etc who all play in a 2 man CB partnership.

7.) 18 Mar 2022 14:38:30
BB mate I think Coady played a couple of times in a back 4 for England and did quite well?

Hi, Is anyone else having problems with the Wolves app on their mobile. If I click on the icon it tries to go somewhere then drops off?

2.) 23 Dec 2021 14:29:56
I ordered our reserved seats for Sheffield Utd, only option offered was print at home, 10 days and 2 emails to fan services later…still waiting, not the service you expect from a Football Club at any level, Premier League they’re havin’ a laugh.

3.) 23 Dec 2021 16:42:37
Got mine within 30 seconds,Oxley. Doesn't help you though,I know.

4.) 23 Dec 2021 18:04:23
Probably seen your posts on here Oxley and decided to make you wait :P

5.) 24 Dec 2021 14:24:34
RKO : Had crossed my mind, let’s hope they can improve on 3 wins from 9 home games, only 5 goals, failed to score in 6 of those and are struggling to have more than one shot on target per game, that’s not even a moan, they’re facts, on average matchday prices that’s about £120 per win and £70+ per goal, hardly the attacking free flowing football we were led to expect when Nuno was replaced. Can only hope Fosun believe in Father Christmas and Mr Lage gets at least some of the presents he asks for.

6.) 24 Dec 2021 19:45:13
I'm not expecting much in way of transfers next month tbh, it's Summer we'll see Fosun show their true hand as they can't hide behind the ffp punishment then.

7.) 24 Dec 2021 20:00:51
Rated-problem is we've been saying this for about three years! By this point Jeff should wear a dear skin jacket and say 'this time next year Bruno we' ll be billionaires'!

Unfortunately the realities to this is that our club have taken out yet ANOTHER loan just to cover future funds from the Jota deal. The club were quick to stress that is wasn't for a Jan transfer now that's money we were told would be put back into the transfer budget when the Jota deal was announced.

Turns out when they said 'back into the squad' they meant paying to keep the lights on for it, never mind then!

Wishing all wolves fans a lovely Xmas but at this stage I'm starting to realise that Fosun delivering the club they originally sold to us would take a miracle slightly beyond Santa I'm afraid! Have a good one peeps ??

8.) 25 Dec 2021 13:33:05
BB mate I do think if Summer Fosun still don't invest then things will get very nasty for them.
Let's hope Fosun still have that vision they promised us.

Have a great Christmas mate.

Anyone knows why Silva uncovered a t-shirt saying Forca Jota! Juntos during the U23's game on Monday. As far as I can see it means Jota Force together. But don't quite understand the joat bit as I'm guessing its not a reference to Spanish dancing or our former player?

He did it in solidarity with Pedro Goncalves National team mate who suffered a horrendous ACL injury.

2.) 29 Sep 2021 20:48:01
Jota Goncalves. Pedro is the ex Wolves player.

3.) 29 Sep 2021 21:44:26

Pretty sure Shebani made a couple of substitute appearances for the U23's in the last 2 or 3 games of their season.

Personally I'm more than happy that our shirts won't advertise a gambling company any longer.

Sorry, on a personal note, and as a middle-aged duffer who's very few attempts at playing FIFA, and Tomb Raider etc. was largely rubbish. I am wholly unmoved by the E-Sports thing and really don't give a hoot about what logo/banner/emblem they use, or indeed who owns it. I also have to smile to myself at the valuation of the club by Freddy and Tinkers, and the speculation as to what Fosun would being willing to sell for.

Perhaps, just perhaps, he's playing his cards close to his chest. Let's face it if he said, 'Yeah we have £300m to spend' Wolves' target parent clubs would suddenly be upping the price of their players? Just a thought.

I saw Parkin play when I was a wee whipper-snapper. Also loved it when Willie Carr passed to him on telly to hear the commentator pronounce the immortal lines 'Carr, Parkin'
