Just one question. Why is it the linesman on the other side of the field that rises the flag and not the linesman on Nunes side? Was it meant to be a Toti offside?

He was at the other end of the pitch. They don't run the full length.

The linesman didn't even wave his flag initially, after the goal he started walking to the center circle, he clearly got told to put his flag up.
Stinks of corruption.

As I understand it if you tell the linesman to put the flag up first you have turned the responsibility to proof the other way around. VAR has to prove it's NOT a offside. And suddenly the cameras don't work?

The linesman wasn't even level with play when Nunes got the ball. A guess again, just like the roly poly ref who gave handball against Moutinho.

We all saw the linesman walking toward the centre circle after the 3rd goal (no immediate flag).
Nathan Judah (in his podcast) is alleging that the referee signalled to the linesman to raise his flag. If this was the case surely the referee needs to explain his actions as a very minimum?

It's gone. Move on.

No if clubs just move on then it will continue to happen, clubs need to stand together against these corrupt officials.

Agree RATED RKO. This must be stopped if there is corrupt collusion. How can officials get away with that decision and then blame lack of VAR evidence.

Mr VAR- Mike Dean is a born Liverpool man and still lives in the Liverpool area as I understand. He was actually denied to referee the FA cup final between Liverpool and West Ham 2006 because of this. Times changes.

Well the mail is reporting that we have written to Howard Webb whilst the Mirror has a photo which seems to show Nunes in an onside position. Although the photo is a distant still it looks to me as though the referee is on yhe edge of the box watching play and has his back to Nunes. If that is the case how can he call Nunes as offside?

We're asking for an explanation and an apology from the FA. Would help us progress in the tournament but if they've got the guts to admit it 'something' may come of it regarding some refs attitudes in future. Doubt it tho.

What was the sequence of events that persuaded the linesman to raise his flag some seconds after our 3rd goal was scored? Was this an instruction from Stockley Park to the referee to give them chance to review the incident.
However they could have reviewed regardless of the onfield decision. The sequence of events and the rationale / thinking of the participants is crucial! Why the delay in the issue of any statement from the FA on this?
If justice is done or seen to be done, the VAR official or the referee or both should never be involved in officiating at another match ever again.
This goes beyond our wonderful club and proper investigation of the incident could move the sport forward immensely in this country.

I did mean wouldn't help us progress. I also note that on the sky app they don't appear to report our complaint. Is that simply because Sky aren't televising the FA cup?

Noticed something while watching the game again tonight, the linesman who gave the offside that he saw through at least a dozen bodies actually missed a blatant deliberate handball right in front of him and gave a throw in
