We need a stronger goalkeeper a commanding centre half a dominant midfielder and a ruthless goalscorer.

Not too much then! I'd be happy with a proven striker, Donc, Podence and Boly back for the next game.

You're right Golden Boy, three key players missing not forgetting Jonny Otto.
Get those four players plus an experienced proven striker and we're looking at a completely different team.

We need a good striker and our injured players back. Then we need Nuno to play a settled team and stop tinkering. And we all need to get behind the team in what is proving to be a difficult season.

Agree Sharesum, let's all get behind the team.
I think now with if fans were in the ground we would be in a worse position if the crowd is anything like all the thrown the towel in posters on here were there.
The games coming thick and fast over the festive period has made it harder for us. yes it's the same for all teams but podence dendonker boly all picking up knocks it hasn't gone for us.
Nuno has took us to dizzy heights and he will again.
If nuno is replaced do you really think that's the answer?
Nuno could do nothing about mouthino clanger giving away the penalty seconds into the 2nd half the game plan straight out the window.
Have faith in nuno and look at the situation with positivity rather than we are in relegation dog fight.
We are far better at our worst than 3 or 4 at there best.
Of course everyone has their opinion I accept that but I really don't like the amount of fans giving up on our project with nuno and fosun.
Rant over.

Good morning Phil. Nobody is giving up it upsets us all especially during these bad times, we need cheering up, Wolves do that when we play well, but this has been coming for a long while.

1. we bought 4/ 5 gems, sadly the best ONE of those has left us.

2. Don't forget we have also bought 5/ 6 DUDS miranda, Bonatini, Cutrone. etc, etc

3. We continue every match when in front to sit back when in front and INVITE trouble, surely its Nuno who should have addressed that, we all now get nervous at every corner free kick.

4. Very poor August transfer purchase's.

5. Loss of Jimenez has cost us big time.

6. Tactically at times inept poor team selection and playing style.

Yes we will survive but some of the above has been wrong for a long time, Don't expect Fosun to chuck a load of money in January, Its a poor transfer window anyway, we have to sell before buying FGosun are a business.

On a positive note with donk back mourtinio and nerves look completely different, they were excellent against man it's, and I would have played Owen otosewie instead of vitinha as he is much more of a presence in the middle.

Morning all good points Yellowstone and agree Pedro on ottasowie.
The talk of relegation always makes me question the faith of some fans.
I've been down the mol long enough to know our fans will turn on the manager on a sixpence.
Style of play questionable substitutions aren't doing nuno any favours but things will come good we just need patience.
Dendonker Jimenez boly Jonny all out injured, doherty jota sold that's 6 key players that have been regulars, to be where we are with this in mind it's not as bad as it could be.
The last transfer window all fans were full of praise and optimism now we are in a bad run all that praise and optimism has gone.
It's just football, we pick up a win and all will change again.
Until then the faith of fans is diminishing and that worries me.

Look we're HAVING to play these kids at the moment, have a bit of patience. They're gaining experience every game. Would you like a eighteen year old surgeon to perform you're heart operation? . KEEP THE FAITH.

03 Jan 2021 11:08:38
Agree Pedro Owen Otasowei has the makings of a strong midfielder, he has a presence about him, Moutinhio time is up, you can the best striker in the world but without good service it's no good, how many times has Jimenez been on his own.
Brighton went through our midfield with such ease.

Wow. What a fickle and ungrateful bunch of "supporters" we have on here. Some of the comments on here are utterly embarrassing.
SMARTER- "2 games to sort it or Nuno can go". Embarrassing.
PERTONWOLF- "losing to Brighton" Does not even know the result yesterday.
Do not get me started on SQ. 3 years of constant moaning. Would you rather watch Saville, Evans, Price and Bodvarrson?
How about some common sense? Is it Nuno's fault that he has no Jiminez, Boly, Dendonker, Jonny, Podence, Marcal?
Is it Nuno's fault that Moutinho let Brighton back into the game yesterday? Is it Nuno's fault that Coady failed to pick up Connolly for Brighton's 1st yesterday? Is it Nuno's fault that Silva and Otasowie missed last minute sitters against Spurs and Brighton. If both had scored we would be joint 6th and 3pts behind 3rd. Then the same people moaning on here would be saying we would make the top 4 with all our players back.
Jiminez would have scored both those late chances.
Those saying we are negative yet we are pushing for the winner against Spurs and Brighton.
Our bench is full of youngsters due to 6 injured players.
Arguably, the last 3 games have seen a return to form for Neves and Traore and improvement from Semedo.

Be careful what you wish for.

Thanks SEVLOW1967 with everybody fit we will be back to our best. We got to give these kids time to learn from their games played at the top level. UTW.

Fair comment Sevlo, But even with all the players fit, we are still not the team we were,
The lack of goals has been a problem for a long while.
The midfield has been a problem for a long while.
Our sitting back 2nd half invites teams to put balls in the box.
How often have we been hanging on in the last 15 mins only to give a goal away.
Does the team sit back because they told to? I don't honestly know but surely any manager in their right mind would instruct his team to move forward.
For me Neves is not the player he was, yes he has the occasional good game, what's happened to his free kicks used to be lethal not anymore, finally the midfield is the engine room of any team.

Sad to see so many fans turning over a bad string of results. Biggest mistake nuno has made is not getting in another proven goal scorer after losing Jots.

Look at our injury list at the moment there’s no wonder we are not at our best. Was I pissed of about the result last night?

Damn right I was but bar the second half last night our younger players have more than competed over the last few games our biggest let down is the capability of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Hopefully we can sign a proven goal scorer this window and the goals will start flowing because we are getting the ball in dangerous positions with no one to put it away.

Get our injured players back and we can easily pull this season back and ease the younger players in rather than throwing them in at the deep end and hoping for the best.

In Nuno we trust COYW.

At half time last night I was thinking for god sake don't vonced an early goal in the second half. we did. then thought for gods sake don't sit back and defend. we did that aswell! . need to start learning and quick! can even see us losing to them lot down the load unless we start managing games better.

Sadly some people forget the likes of Solbakken, Saunders and Zenga to name a few recent chaps! Nuno is by far the best manager we have had in recent times. We are 11 points from relegation and 11 points from top of the league. If some other teams in this division lost 5/ 6 first team regulars they wouldn't be in as good as a position as us!

Just wanted to state it is a few posters who have no common sense.
Sevlow as not seen you on here before I assure you this is a good site with virtually all posters with common sense.
The few when things are going wrong are of great annoyance.
Hopefully you can see what I say and enjoy this site as I and the rest on here do.
Kind regards phil.

Golden boy I used to love Zenga when we were massive in Italy. lol
Birmingham away we won 1-3 the bod doing the thunder clap, zenga on his knees.
But I get your post and you're bang on correct.

I'm questioning myself is my thinking wrong?
I realise not all fans are losing faith,
Is it because I've been fighting fires for the last 15 years or so and have been hardened to always think things could be worse or I am just frustrated with our form, the last year I don't know. But we all want wolves to do well and that to me is most important.

I apologise if my posts have been aimed at fans in a bad light, but and it's been said many a time my generation and younger have mostly seen a sleeping giant under performing going on how good we used to be by our elders and now we are seeing what we have never seen.
Older generations have seen what we haven't and I think they may see wolves in a different light.
FWAW.

Hi Phil
I am one of the older generation having watched BilWright lift the trophy in 1958/ 59 I think I was 13years old and traveled with my mate from B’ham on the train as we did for every home game. Still have the same passion seen more downs than ups but I just see them as my beloved Wolves. everyone should Just keep the faith and look forward to the next instalment. All the best.

Thankyou.
Yes my dad bought my brother and myself up on all the stories of the 50's heyday and has made both of us passionate for wolves just like you are.
All being well we will start putting chances away and kick on for the last half of the season.
