Feels like the right time to leave, don't think he's been given a chance since going to world cup. Good price as one year left and not been same since injury but agree it's a surprise staying in prem. Podence training on his own at Compton so definitely freeing up more wages and clearing the decks. Expect few incoming very soon. People moaning about getting rid of players but yet they're the ones been moaning last couple of seasons saying we need an overhauling players not good enough. For me it's much needed and Jlo can get his squad assembled. Exciting season ahead I think COYW

He clearly burnt his bridges with Lopetegui with the World Cup shenanigans SB but, as you say, was never the same post injury and never will be. Understandably, reluctant to go in where it hurts.Thanks for the memories Raul (and our brief dog walking chats).

Sad to see Raul go, probably the time is right. Still we have gained a 3rd choice keeper and a 2nd choice wing back. We have had some bad transfer windows but this one is laughable.

Safe to say RJ will be departing, I've been thinking about this since Mike888 posted.

Raul gave us so many wonderful memories, thanks for those! but he's not been the same since that life threatening injury.

Raul stuffed up with his World Cup antics (wasn't he recently booed by the Mexico fans?) and I don't think J-Lo handled the situation very well at the final home game.

Sad to see Raul go but as they say, that's football. I have stopped reading some of the pap from both mainstream media and pretendy basement keyboard warriors who claim 'inside' knowledge. Over the years with Wolves it's usually best to wait till the club confirms, most other stuff is just filler for clicks. Some are amusing. Others ridiculous. That Romano chap doesn't get many wrong. JL did say that there were going to be deals in and out. I see no reason not to trust him, as with the early days of Nuno. Looks like the smiling pretty boy at NU is attempting to buy the title, strange how Forest only signed one instead of their 20+ of last year. Ah well, let's enjoy the good news when it happens.
