Apparently Lopetegui is to hold talks with those above in the coming days to discuss compensation as he's been told that the only money he can spend is whatever he generates from outgoing sales.

Well Jas M.It sadly feels more plausible than Shi is on his way.
If true, even less to spend on the squad and anyway, no manager to do it!
Mr Guangchang needs to sort very quickly, or his investment will be worth nothing.

So many conflicting stories doing the rounds, let's just wait and see what happens.

Assuming that this is true it goes someway towards explaining the half baked attitude of the players in recent games. Why bother trying to impress a guy who is jumping ship at the first problem anyway.

The way he has been conducting himself I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s got another job lined up or trying to disrupt the Apple cart to put himself in contention for the spurs job.

Sadly Cometh, I think he has had enough of Shi.
Unless Fosun step in, he will be negotiating an exit package.
Unfortunately if things stay the same, another manager comes in and just like Santo, Lage and now Lopetegui after a few months, he will become disillusioned and the pattern will continue as we slide backwards.
Main transfer needed this summer (3 years late) is to appoint a new CEO.

The investment in Julen and the first team squad tells us relegation is a huge concern to Fosun and their investment and their plan going forward and while I’m sure we are going to have to break up the first team squad I’m sure Fosun wlll back Julen to build a leaner.but hungrier squad.
The “cosy club” is perhaps a thing of the past.
It’s never easy but we have to have faith in the powers that be.
They will not want a relegation, they were close to getting burned and by not backing Julen they know it going to be an uphill struggle
I’m totally against washing our linen in public and have to doubt how in such a tight knit club how all the negativity has become so public.
Bumps in the road ahead for sure but maybe just maybe “out of darkness will Comte light”

It is the hope that kills us Realist.
Once again Shi has allowed this to become a mess.
He has to be sacked!

Who cares if he goes. seriously, are we actually playing any better than the last one we had. good grief if nuno had been backed like the last 2 had, we probably would have champions league football.

What about uncle Jorge? He's hardly been mentioned. In my opinion Wolves are just a middle man or laundry between him and Fosun as money passes from them to uncle Jorge. If Fosun don't want to see their investment frittered away by a management which doesn't seem to know what it's doing. They need to get serious about running a football club.

Surely these talks between manager and chairman have taken place by now. The released players list doesn’t indicate who is making the decisions at present, as we could all have predicted the names that appeared.
Have to say I am quite ambivalent regarding Lopetegui. Not convinced by his tactics which are too negative. Admittedly you have to make the best of the players at your disposal and our squad does have limitations but there were still some baffling team selections.
I think the signing of Dawson saved our season. Without his steadying influence we would have been in deep trouble. Only arrived in January but gets my vote as player of the season.
