We'll be linked to so many players over the next 5-6 weeks. It'll be silly season on steroids. Just have to wait and see who turns up at Compton in a Wolves shirt. Most importantly whoever comes in needs to hit the ground running to help produce the results to climb out the bottom three.

We're being linked to anyone from Lopetegui's past as well as Garganzas past. The only exception I've seen is Cuhna.

Shouldn't get too excited about the players being bandied about by the press,if they are any good you can expect that other clubs will be interested and our current league position will hardly be inviting regardless of who the manager is. I'm sure JL has a wish list but that is a long way from players actually arriving at the Mol, some tough negotiations ahead I think. What will be equally interesting is the number of players who may be made available for exit.
Try to imagine the squad without Neves, Traore, Ait Nouri and others who may be attracting attention regardless of those who may push for a move in the next window.
We will have to rely heavily on JL powers of persuasion to come through this window significantly stronger and able to avoid relegation. Generally I'm an optimist but I'm not fooling myself that these are going to be difficult weeks
ahead.

Winton, it's not all doom and gloom. In reality, Wolves are a PL team and Lopetegui is a manager who has managed the Spanish national team as well as Real Madrid. This guy us a big hitter in the football world and he wouldn't ordinarily join a team like Wolves unless he had a clear vision and the backing to achieve what he wants. We may not be able to compete for the big big names out there but we'll get some good players.

I think we will get in and retain players who will push us on to win games move us up the table.

Players who aren't producing what they should are no good for us.
Imo footballers are payed a fortune and when they step over that white line they should give their all, that's what will make me content.
With JL we have a better manager so surely players will be better.
See the caution and rightly so but think if we can't kick on under JL we never will.
Come on you wolves.

Hi Jas,
I know it's not all doom and gloom and I am of the opinion that we already have some quality players in the squad the task for JL will be to get the current squad to gel effectively and then to integrate any incoming players quickly and whilst I agree with you about the quality of the manager the time available to him is limited.

Very hard to quantify, but if we can land 2 out of 5 first choice targets it will probably be good business. As previous posters have said anyone any good other clubs are in for, and good strikers are like gold dust.

Just a thought but as a club we seem unable to keep our cards as tight to our chest as we used to.
