So given that we are pretty much safe everything now turns to a squad overhaul which is needed. However if some reports are to be believed Wolves won’t be spending as much as they have done in the past two windows due to trying to balancing the books. I hope this doesn’t hold us back however from getting some much needed new blood that JL wants to mould his team.

I am expecting vbwolf, quite a few goings as well as comings.
In terms of goings:
Sales:
Big Ticket-
Neves hope not
Nunes "
The Rest -
Semedo
Jonny
ATN
Podence
Jimenez
Hodson hope not
Leaving:
Moutinho
Traore
Costa shame
So half the squad.
Hopefully enough money raised to bring in new faces

Not sure about totally safe. 9 points is a cushion, and most likely enough, but a good run by someone could make it sweaty. Either way I hope JL signs a long contract and oversees the transfers to build his own team for next year.

Looking at the remaining games, I've got Southampton down as relegated.

Everton, if they lose tonight, then a maximum of 5 points giving them 33 points.

Leicester, 7 points giving them 36.

Forest, 8 points giving them 38 points.

Leeds, 3 points giving them 33 points.

Us, 6 points taking us to 43 points.

Southampton, Leeds and Everton to go down by my predictions.

Agree with your relegation teams Jas, but I think it is still dicey for Forest. I am not sure how they get 8 points from here. I think about 3 or 4 but they should still just about survive!

That's a best case scenario bobsbest. I've given them a point against Brentford and Chelsea with wins against Southampton and possibly Palace on the final day.

I wouldn't like to predict games at this stage, of the mid table sides Chelsea seem to be in meltdown, Brighton may suffer fixture congestion, Palace looked to have turned it round but the winning run has halted under Hodgson, Brentford and Fulham are probably just playing out games now.

I have a theory that the money spent in January was just a loan to ensure Wolves were less likely to go down and lose the £100 million in television revenue per season.
Much of it will be returned via the sale of various players.
So don't assume even the current squad/depth for next season.
