Apparently scored 27 goals in all competitions the year that Bruno managed him but last year scored 5 goals in 15 games

Scored past Portugal the weekend that’s good enough for me just need a decent back up hopefully we can get palhinha minamino/Guedes sefrovic nunes one of the CB we have been linked with and we could be on for a cracking season I really think Raul will find his form again

Its hard to tell with strikers, some just seem to click for certain managers or teams that play a certain way. When we signed Ade Akinbyi I thought he was a duff, but his stats for us didn't seem to bad at all! Other sides he played for weren't as good if I recall. Frankly I didn't expect much from Raul on his previous stats but was delighted. Players we payed big money for, Robert Taylor from Man City springs to mind as did Billy Rafferty (not such big money) back in the 70's were at exactly the level that was expected when career history was taken into consideration. Did anybody expect 306 career goals from Steve Bull! What a great unknown he was!

Debbie - his goalscoring record isn't horrible, last season he only played 15 games due to injury and a disagreement with manager so 5 goals and 3 assists isn't that bad although he did much better under Bruno previously.
This one is looking quite likely given Bruno's previous good experiences with him and the Swiss rate him highly.
