R. I. P Fred Davies.
Goalkeeper when I first started supporting Wolves. Respect and condolences to his friends and family.

{Ed002's Note - Fred Davies was one of teh Wolves players that played for Los Angeles Wolves in the United Soccer Association. When I was a lot younger I did go and see my local side (Golden Gate Gales who were in reality Den Haag) play - this would be 1967.}

Interesting Ed. That sounds like the tournament Wolves went on to win under the moniker Los Angeles Wolves beating Aberdeen 6 -5 in the final.

If my memory serves me, a young Frank Munro was playing for Aberdeen in that 1967 final - playing midfield / inside forward at that point.

I think you're correct on that one. What a fine player Frank Munro was! You wouldn't want to argue with him back then. Passed away about 10 years ago I think.
