Not me.

3.) 06 Sep 2017 12:02:23
Karl the crab Henry? Good grief! He can hoof the ball across the field instead of the usual Baggies method of up the field.

4.) 06 Sep 2017 14:23:26
:D LOVE! He was my favourite player growing up.

5.) 06 Sep 2017 14:40:12

8.) 06 Sep 2017 17:03:16
Joe Ledley is still available for free reports Birmingham Mail.

9.) 06 Sep 2017 19:26:02
"With view to a move"

Clearly says om express and star that he is training due to his friendship with Pulis and they have no intention of signing.

10.) 06 Sep 2017 19:33:04
Report is that he is being allowed to use the training facility's to try get up to match fitness due to friendship with management, nothing more.

11.) 06 Sep 2017 21:23:31
I do care but not as much as I do care about what paul daniels says.

12.) 06 Sep 2017 22:48:20
Stu I posted this before it got anywhere near the e&s and was only repeating what was said on sky sports so apologies about the "view to a move"

13.) 06 Sep 2017 23:02:03
:) no Paul the meds didn't help I'm sorry to say. But we weren't a team of massive names when I started following the game.

14.) 07 Sep 2017 08:16:36
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ nice one howler17, tell u what when we get in the Prem, we will never come down again while Fosun own us, these players will seem like amateurs compared to the team we will put out. Get out this division and I'm certain we will never look back. THE MIGHTY WOLVES! πŸ‘.

15.) 07 Sep 2017 14:20:33
Karl Henry does a lot of young football team coaching, so needs his fitness.

16.) 10 Sep 2017 09:25:43
Not many posts just lately. mark hamill said he will be with us on may the 4th. 😁😁.

17.) 11 Sep 2017 07:23:12
I thought the same! I also heard chewy and r2 ate getting a season ticket aswell.

31 Aug 2017 19:54:28
After so much excellent work how the hell has it transformed into a complete and utter shambles. Unlikely to get a striker in now so we have 1 half fit unproven striker and a kid! Absolutely shocking! Season over already unless something drastic happens. Cannot believe this situation. Why get rid of all our strikers without replacements sorted. Unless we have a recall on mason!

South Banker

1.) 31 Aug 2017 20:02:14
Absolutely disgraceful. letting dicko go. and not replacing him with better. what on earth is going on. surely they not that stupid. are they.? .

2.) 31 Aug 2017 20:28:32
Season over? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

04 Jul 2017 20:46:53
Mirror and bham mail both reporting neves expected for medical in next 24hrs? Can we start to believe?

South Banker

1.) 04 Jul 2017 22:00:15
Both of them said the next 24 hrs on Sunday.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 22:51:10
My mistake though it said the report was 3 hours ago when I looked.

3.) 04 Jul 2017 23:16:25
Wolf40 no they didn't πŸ˜‚ It's the first time it's been mentioned.

4.) 04 Jul 2017 23:40:21
Matt almost every news outlet that featured the story said he was due for a medical on Monday or Tuesday. that equals over 24 hrs if i'm correct. tomorrow is Wednesday is it not? πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ.

5.) 05 Jul 2017 00:12:05
Now they're saying at the public training today (Wednesday) . No doubt, when this doesn't happen, it will be Friday, then next Monday, then the Monday after that, etc, etc. Basically Talisca mark 2.

6.) 05 Jul 2017 07:32:36
Can see earliest being Wednesday but in reality think Friday then Saturday for interviews publicly etc then straight into training monday really wouldn't be surprised if other two players mentioned meant be coming were. Ones we not heard off like texerria n prince were but only from Porto etc.

7.) 05 Jul 2017 07:34:10
If we resign Afobe it's to be hoped he's improved immeasurably from the various times I saw him play last season. He was rubbish and the Bournemouth fans certainly wouldn't miss him! We could do a lot better!
βš½οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜‰.

8.) 05 Jul 2017 08:16:34
Just got a season ticket for South bank really excited for the new season hope we get Rubén and would love to see Afobe back really need to new strikers exciting time wolves ay we! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️.

9.) 05 Jul 2017 08:30:38
To be fair he spent a bit of time out injured and then was kept out of the team by Josh Kings form. But I know where the fans are coming from as he can seem lazy but then suddenly get a goal. That'll do for me.

18 Apr 2016 19:02:54
So Mike Williamson has just been ruled out for the season. Heard some interesting news regarding him at weekend. Turns out he never even had a medical and he was signed just to shut us fans up. Having been in contact with a couple of Newcastle fans they said he hasn't been fully fit for about 2 years hence why they got rid. Only at Wolves could this happen.

South Banker

1.) 18 Apr 2016 20:14:02
Its a shame a fully fit Williamson next season could be a big difference maker but I think he may be an injury prone player think we might be looking for another CB soon.

Would like to see Deslandes get some more games as I think it will be him and Doherty playing for the Left Back position.

14 Apr 2016 09:26:13
Heard this straight from a first team player that McDonalds house is up for sale so looks like definitely going.

South Banker

1.) 14 Apr 2016 12:17:10
Too good for Wolves?

2.) 14 Apr 2016 14:20:24
Does anyone know how to go about signing the petition to reserve the clubs decision to be sponsored by money shop? At the same time can we start one to get spin Dr moxey out of our club and stop him representing our club and dragging us through the dirt. Has this guy ever come out and said an honest thing since being at our club?

3.) 14 Apr 2016 15:15:10
Don't now what all fuss is about McDonald, I thought he was useless in is last game deserved to be dropped on that performance, looked slow and overweight and not breaking sweat admit when on form is okay player, our midfield needs to be sorted anyway needs some creative players and 2 strikers up top at home as got to be looked at and play higher up the pitch, defence to deap allowing teams to come on to us and get shots away.

4.) 14 Apr 2016 21:36:30
Link for Money Shop sponsorship petition

5.) 14 Apr 2016 22:19:21
KMac has recently moved house but is still in Penn. His house is NOT up for sale as he is renting!

6.) 15 Apr 2016 06:18:50
Tommo1970 is closer than any of the others. Tbh I'd rather watch Kev 'slow and overweight' LOL trying to create chances than having there CM protecting the poor defence we have. All stems from the back including the UK.

7.) 16 Apr 2016 20:02:39
Believe he has just invested in a small holding In Essington.

8.) 17 Apr 2016 13:41:41
So is he likely to stay or go?

9.) 17 Apr 2016 14:03:15
Just to clarify yes Mac does rent a house in Penn but he owns a house in Bilston which he was renting out but he has now put up for sale as he intends going.

10.) 17 Apr 2016 16:47:00
Hes going KJ does not see him as a starter next season and wants to bring in another midfielder.

Police have issued an urgent missing persons report for the entire villa team. Last seen turning up at molineux before disappearing into thin air. Awesome performance by the boys, some of the stuff second half was obscene. Gave vile a football lesson. Top of the league and there to stay I feel. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘.

Ok guys we are where we are. I am pretty disappointed that no striker is in and I commented on Monday what if deals fell through at the last minute out of our control and yes psv have screwed us over. But we had all summer to sort it. Overall it has been an excellent window with quality players in and most of the dross gone but this could cost us big time. However I did post at the beginning of August wondering if we were going the way of playing without an out and out striker like Spain, Germany and Liverpool have done as our front line all have 10-15 goals each in them (obviously dicko and graham have gone), so does it matter who scores let's just have faith in them and get behind the boys. This could easily still be our time and we can add in January. As for being a joke fan I have had a season ticket for 29 years and an away one for a chunk of that. I was just voicing my opinion last night as do all of us. COYW.

Well said southbanker a true gent. I think texts or posts can be easily misunderstood and taken in ways where the sender isn't getting across what he/ she wants. at the end of the day difference on opinons is unconsequential cus everyone who follows the wolves wants desperatly the same thing success ava bosting wknd the lot of ya πŸ‘.

28 Aug 2017 21:03:25
Sorry to see nouha go and really, really hope nuno and Mendes have got this under control with at least 2 strikers maybe 3 now coming in. We need proven championship quality and experience or I have a horrible feeling this season will go pear shaped. Don't want to sound negative but we have 1 fairly inexperienced unproven striker on our books so I can only assume deals are done already and will be announced very, very soon! In nuno we trust but it's a case of having to now! What if deals fall through? What then? They have got pretty much everything right this summer so far so hope and pray the last bit falls into place. COYW.

South Banker

1.) 28 Aug 2017 21:55:42
Surely they have already two strikers in place waiting to sign on dotted line. now dickos going. i'm certain nunos got everything in hand. so looking forward to anouncements this week. can't wait. forever wolves.

2.) 28 Aug 2017 22:44:03
The rumours are one striker, one central midfielder and a left back. Don't know we'd need a left back with Douglas and vinegar as both look class. Right back I could understand as cover for Doc or even a first choice right back.

3.) 29 Aug 2017 08:23:00
Should be ok with full backs I can think of 6 on our books if you count Marshall

CM probably ok as without Edwards we have Saiss and Price defensively and Neves Bright Zyro and Cav all able to play behind striker

But we needed a new striker even before Bod Mason and Dicko left Bonatini looks ok but not so far better than the others and if he is injured do we play Donovan Wilson? We must have a big signing coming it doesn't make sense otherwise.

02 Aug 2017 19:37:59
Right I'm going to throw something out there and I am prepared to be shot down 😐 does anyone else think nuno won't actually play with an out and out striker? I know most of us think a 20 goal striker is the holy trail but Spain and Germany have been successful without one. Look at how Liverpool play using attacking players who interchange constantly and all score but none of them are prolific goalscorers. Even Huddersfield last season didn't really have a prolific striker. Does it matter if we have someone getting 20 and 2 others getting 10 each or we have 5 getting 10 each. Think about Costa, cav, Graham, jota, zyro and dicko, they all have goals in them and can reach double figures and defences certainly wouldn't like any 3 of those coming at them and constantly changing. Maybe Leo could be the answer who knows. I could of course be completely wrong and we spend 20m tomorrow on gray or whoever else πŸ˜‚ Thoughts guys?

South Banker

1.) 02 Aug 2017 20:20:58
excellent post if you were there saturday the way we played makes this a real possibility a more confident finisher than bright and we are on the way only fools rely on 1 forward nowadays I would love to see zyro given more of a chance!

2.) 02 Aug 2017 20:22:15
He needs the right striker to link up play, if that part of the game is successful goals will def come. No more hoofing it up to a 5'9" striker! HooooooofffffffπŸ˜‚.

3.) 02 Aug 2017 20:23:28
I think the Leicester game demonstrated we do need a striker to play in the middle, Cav struggled filling in in that position. His goal wasn't a strike it was a wingers pass into the goal, or like a set piece. He needed a moment to set it up that he got because Leicester were off the pace, might not work so well in real Champ game.

Bonatini looks like the answer, a real striker, fact Nuno brought him shows we need him.

For an unknown from an odd league, a fee of Β£5m if we decide to buy is quite a lot. Maybe he is the big name striker who will make all the difference and we just don't know it yet.

4.) 03 Aug 2017 08:26:56
South Banker the question of whether to play a specific striker is one that the leading prem clubs have been considering. Based on last season's results Chelsea, Spurs and Man City all succeeded with at least one purpose built striker. Arsenal seem to have accepted the need to bring in a top quality striker and Man U Have upgraded. Liverpool have been unlucky in losing Sturridge and Ings through injury but it seems to prove that the specific skills of a natural finisher are still essential if you want to succeed and I'm sure Nuno will be aware of this.

5.) 03 Aug 2017 09:34:21
Good comments victory. As I said I was just putting it out there to see what people thought and wondered if maybe that was the way we might be going.

6.) 03 Aug 2017 18:14:21
Southbanker, good post. I think we will get another striker but only cause we are short of numbers there but I think your point is still entirely valid. This idea of playing wingers almost like wide strikers is very much on-trend and the way lots of the big Euro clubs are doing it (Real and Barcelona have both done it for years now) . So you still have a striker but like you say two what I believe they call inside forwards either side of them who are expected to chip in with 5-10 goals a season.

I think when you watch the Cav goal against Lec and the way it was worked (ie him cutting inside onto his stronger foot) then consider the attacking talent we have on the wings I think that’s exactly how Nuno will expect things to be done. Still need that striker mind as they are the ones that will pop up with a goal in the big/ tight games. Exciting times to be a Wolves fan COYW! ;)

Ulf I'm sorry but give it a rest mate. You spouted all this crap about brand, identity and being urban with money shop last year and judging by the players we are signing it obviously hasn't affected us in the slightest. Every post you are just repeating yourself and it gets tedious to read. All we want is someone to come in and score goals, end of! I don't particularly want Afobe back after the 4 months of sulking and unprofessional he displayed but if he does come and does the job I'll be over the moon. Andre Gray is class at this level and has done it in a struggling premiership side too so much the better option surely.

My two daughters have had season tickets for 4 years now. Were both Β£23 to start with then eldest went to Β£72 last season as she was 12 but this year reduced to Β£50. Costs me Β£73 quid for two season tickets and they both love it. They also want the tops etc so by hooking them early they generate extra income from merchandise etc. As stated above they are the next generation so by keeping prices down the club wins in the long run. I sit in the family enclosure with them but obviously the prices are that all round the ground now.

South Banker

{Ed047's Note - Exactly its about the club maximizing revenue and filling the stadium weather that means lowering ticket prices or by reducing them}.
