I'm baffled when people claim Jackett was given no money to spend. Afobe, Mason, Coady, Wallace, Zyro and one or two others weren't bought with chocolate buttons. A certain Ipswich manager hasn't spent a penny since he's been there. They have still finished above us twice. Also why are Moneyshop still our sponsors.

Can anyone remember when Balague broke the story? I reckon it's about three years but it could easily be longer .

Mcdonald's relationship with Jackett had completely broken down, and it seems he has no interest in making a fresh start under the new regime. He wants out.
