Ricardo Horta from Braga, 3 million loan fee and then option or obligation to buy for 15m.


Apparently its all a done deal and just waiting for international matches to finish.

His agent Carlos Gonçalves is working close with Mendes for us this summer. It is all linked with Carvahal leaving Braga.

So looks like Adama stays at Barca. We take Trincao but use him to swap for palhinha. Everybody gets there player and good deal in my opinion for a player that doesn’t want to play for us any more and a player not consistent enough for prem. I think what’s holding it up is sporting want couple extra mil as well but this at least would be one good one over the line for very little money or nothing.

Have you seen much of Paulinha Phil? I've been on here before and mentioned that he reminds me very much of Dendoncker and,to my eyes, isn't the type of midfielder who we should be interested in.We need someone more dynamic who ideally has an eye for goal.

Not recently Old Wulf,
But imo we need a top defencive midfielder to replace neves if as expected he goes and paulinho fits the bill for me.
We have been chasing him for a few years.
My thinking is we will go for another top midfielder in the mould as you suggest.

Just read Matt Wild interview on the express and star about wolves won't break wage structure and now unsure if we will sign paulinho or any other top player in his bracket.
Seems to me that players we have missed out on,other clubs have offered more wages.
Our club is doing well and in a healthy position but imo we want to break into top 6 and remain there as is the plan at some point tge clubs wage structure will have to be broken.

Oldwulf are you sure you have watched the right player?
Paulinha is nothing like Dendonkar at all, he is an out and out defensive midfielder who breaks up play and has one of the best interception rates in Europe.
His wages will be less than Neves (who is already on a decent package) and if the other midfielder we sign is a Matteus Luiz or Sergio Olivera type then we will have the energetic driving force Lage wants alongside the holding player.
Don’t rule out Coady being employed in a holding midfield role too on occasions next year.!
Seems to me we are trying spending the Neves money before he is sold.
Sad to see him go but it’s been a pleasure watching him for 5 years and he should really be on a champions league stage now.

Old Wulf have more time as I'm at work on a late dinner,
I did read and remembered your post previously your thoughts on paulihna of which I respected and took on board.
However the main focus of my yes yes yes would be perfect deal for me is because finally we would be rid of Traore and having a quality player who wants to play for us.
The circumstances are of which we need a fair few additions to our squad with departures,saiss Ruddy questions on neves staying or going.
MGW staying or going.
It's all up in the air at present but hopefully we will sign the players of which all wolves fans see we need including obviously you Old Wulf myself and Tommo as in this feed today.

I'm sure,Tommo.To my eyes,he's big and ponderous and very much akin to Dendoncker. I've made a point of watching him because of the long time rumours. Time will tell, of course, if he signs.
