Apparently Wolves and Leicester City want to sign Jack Grealish for a fee of approx. £23,000,000.00 - Grealsih wants play Premier League football and Villa may have to sell due to FFP.

I don’t understand why we would want him though. Maddison, Talisca and that Uruguay midfielder who’s name I can’t spell. Are better by a long shot.

No thank you. He's not that good, not value for money and a troublemaker.

Sorry can't stand him, over hyped in my opinion.
Wouldn't improve our team at all, not a 90 min player, he as 1 in 3 decent games.
Avoid him Nuno🙏.

To weak for me, spends half the game on his arse. Very talented lad but also over priced cause he’s English, better options out there.

No chance.

We need footballers who are willing to work their butts off for 90 minutes, not powder puffs who spend more time working on their diving skills and haircuts. Big fat NO to Grealish.

20m for Maddison or Grealish?
Maddison every time- hard working, pragmatic, disciplined, Lynch pin, fits our style of football.
Grealish- ghosts past players then acts like a sack of potatoes, inconsistent, poor attitude, bad hair cut, scores a wonder goal every once in a while (the wonder been he has actually scored) and I’d like to see him rot at his club- bless him.

Grealish is a brilliant player I'd sign him tomorrow and anybody that says he ain't is daft.

I’d rather have David Brooks from Sheffield United, 2 years younger, doesn’t come with the ego and attitude would cost less too. Looks a very good young player.

Bewdley Wolf, I guess there be a lot of daft people on here then! We all have our opinions and I respect that but I think the overall package for how much he is likely to cost is simply not worth the risk. There are players who are equally talented who don't have discipline problems who aren't likely to disrupt the dressing room who are better value for money. I'd take Maddison in preference every time.

Under the right management the kid would be world class. Villa will probably want you too much though.

Not at £23m. £8m more than Rúben I think not. Maddison a better option imo.

Is Grealish a Nuno-type player? I don't think so. We've had attacking midfielders before, like Edwards, who while decent enough, tend to suck the action out of the forwards. Nuno wants two solid midfielders who can protect the back 3. Ruben's long shot goals are a bonus. More likely to sign a Wilshere or Milner type of player if we're going down that route.

Interesting that McDonald is joining us in the Prem with Fulham, talking of good midfielders what we've 'ad.

Good points Euroman.
Personally watching the play off final on Saturday I thought McDonald looked out of his depth. It’s an extra short pass or a side ways pass. Which were executed slower than the wolves midfield of 17/ 18. Plus he doesn’t look up like our players. I also thought there first goal was lucky against us earlier this season at the cottage.
I’m not sure on Wilshere or Milner- I think we need to stick to young, hungry and quality additions. As Nuno seems to have that killer instinct that Pochettino seems to be missing at spurs. Obviously that last point will be proved right or wrong this season. But Pochettino seems to lack the confidence to buy a big player- or maybe that is lack of support from Levy. Thank god for Fosun, Mendes and Nuno. Get behind them! WAW.
