According to Sunderland Echo we have been snubbed by O'Shea as he has signed a new contract. If that is true I think we have dodged a bullet there. Seemed to me he now has limited pace and accident prone.

Hugill was a Lambert target and will not be signed. Nuno has better targets in mind I am sure. Personally I think Assombalonga from Forest would be ideal. The O'Shea stuff is clearly nonsense as we have signed Miranda and Bennett and won't be selling Batth or Hause so that's 4 centre backs already.

Need three more IMO - experienced keeper to rival Ilene (has Ruddy from Norwich found a new club yet? ), a creative/ schemer/ playmaker to sit behind the striker and a 20+ goal a season striker.
