Sorry guys not been here before for comments but have followed for a while. Seem's as though the new buyer is worth 2.6 billion not 14 billion as we first thought. Another 2 weeks until it goes through I'm afraid so no signings before January.

Not willing to invest in the team just sell and say no money is available. How do I know you ask? Because I've been banging moxey for the last month.

Fosun as a group r worth more, they spent 30 billion dollars in the last two decades on real estate and insurance in Europe and America, plus other things like travel and entertainment. They will certainly back Mendes group. We are in for exciting times! Hurry up and announce it! )

All carp! He is worth 2.7 billion and has wasted 30 billion in the last decade. Looks like we are getting a buyer on the way down. Typical wolves Owner. And before you all start I've been a season ticket owner since we were in Division 4!

He has roughly the same wealth as Ding Lei and is the 11th wealthiest man in China. Is married to a famous Chinese actress.

20 Jul 2016 06:41:02

20 Jul 2016 08:52:37
I can confirm that the chinese billionaire couple boy ling and his wife mel ting are buying the club.

19.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 09:00:38
A lot of negativity about the possible new buyers BUT look at the alternative.
Moxey is leading us in to oblivion with NO future prospects.
What would you prefer?

20.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 09:04:36
With boy ling and mel ting buying the club steve morgan has to be careful he doesn't get burn t for the price.

Whats happened to Robin Li? i'm getting rather confused with all these changes, wish the club would just come out and calm everyone down, but when have the club ever looked after the interests of the fans.

22.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 09:47:38
What individuals are worth is irrelevant if it's a conglomerate that will be acquiring the club. However, the fact that Fosun's chairman has recently faced corruption charges is extremely worrying as are reports that Fosun are massively in debt and are striving to improve their credit raring!

23.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 09:53:56
This gives a good insight. Their group is massively minted. I think someone said if Robin Li sold Baidu to Google, would be worth $75billion. Apparently if this guy sold his portfolio, he'd be about $50billion. Apparently he's on his way to building his portfolio to £100b within the next few years. Though his shares took a hit for corruption investigation, but he's a mover and a shaker so who cares (within reason, as long as no people got hurt, poor ripped off) .

It looks like it fits perfectly with this

I hope it means we are going to be a quality identity (it looks so judging by that Bloomberg piece) , face of them in the West being enterprising / competing, that they will ditch Moneyshop at first opportunity, if Moxey stays they keeps him excluded from our identity development and management / marketing and get proper Pro's in, because Moneyshop proved Moxey hasn't a clue.

It seems Mendes is involved via Fosun. Given he mentioned Robin Li it is still possible that he is involved as part of the consortium. In any event it has to be good news and it looks like it is happening soon. Wolves will have access to the games development in China. A fantastic opportunity. Let's hope it stays on course.

25.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 10:56:44
Everyone keeps sayin it's happening soon, but come on, does any of ya know, like most of ya on here, i'm a die hard wolves fan, and we all know something is about 2 happen, so NO bs the truth guys, WAWAW.

Thought about it over night, have these concerns that have changed my mind:

1 - These Chinese seem to do everything on debt, so badly they have a poor credit rating on the HKSE, they must be buying Wolves with borrowed money (all their acquisitions are apparently on borrowed money) . That's not the private wealth buyer Morgan promised us, it doesn't guarantee Wolves not being exploited, rather it suggests we are being bought precisely to be exploited.

2- It seems clear, if Mendes is involved, there's a conflict of interest, he'll use the club to develop and showcase payers for them to sell for profit, we will become a Premiership Crewe for the benefit of Europe and China, not for the sake of Wolves, for the sake of greedy rich businessmen trying to cash in.

3- these people must have been involved in talks with Wolves / Moxey for a longtime, I'd guess they must have approved the Moneyshop sponsorship. That would fit with them only seeing Wolves as something to exploit for player development and sales, because our brand won't matter, it's just whatever money they can make. In fact if they intend to keep Moxey on, they won't bin Moneyshop as it's his baby.

I've thought about and think now this is totally bad and we shouldn't want it. Apparently there is another Chinese group wanting to bid, that may be Robin Li, I think that is our better bet. I think anything other than creeps who want to make us an agent club with Moneyshop on the shirt would be better than this, I'd rather be League 1. I'd rather support Notts Forest.

20 Jul 2016 11:18:58
Ulf, you worry too much! I understand your concerns but it really is out of our hands. I normally disagree with the lofty heights at which you place our potential as a club, however, we are a club with a lot of history and at least a bit of room for upwards movement which begs the question, why would these people buy us to turn into a faceless feeder club for emerging talents when they could have bought a club that already has little by way of reputation (such as west brom or any other championship quality team)

28.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 11:50:26
I agree it is out of our hands, but this is the breaking of weeks of frustration wanting to know who it was. At first I was just relieved it was Ding Lei with his Zimbawe connections. But in it's own way, this is just as bad or worse, everywhere it looks like a stitch up, Morgan cashing out for maximum money and club turned into a vehicle to exploit for Moxey and his extremely foreign friends.

I'll ignore the debt thing (though I shouldn't) , but at very least, they need to bin Mendes out of deal, guarantee they'll bin Moneyshop and after a handover period they'll bin Moxey too, otherwise if this happens I'm no longer Wolves. I'm not supporting an exploited plastic Moneyshop type club and this seems to make us even more that, not less.

29.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 12:17:01
I feel there's a few people who don't quite understand that there are 1000 millions in one billion. Regardless of how much he's actually worth he is monumentally wealthier than Morgan. While we do fave the possibility of becoming a faceless club that really is modern football, that's what it takes to be a big club. At some point along the line that's the step up a club needs to make if it is to be ambitious. New money clubs aren't really feeders so much now (Middlesborough, Bournemouth, Watford etc) . Buyers are very well aware that with time one can achieve high finishes with their club (Leicester, Watford) .

30.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 13:03:55
Ulf, you appear to be the same person who ranted ten times a day about the money shop sponsorship on a local newspapers threads, and pronounced if it went ahead you were no longer Wolves, it wasn't your club it was mobeyshop wanderers or something and you would no longer support. Now on here you've said if this takeover happens you are no longer wolves. In another post suggesting you are tempted by Nottm Forest. You have got to read this story I recall from childhood that involved a boy, and a Wolf, and some crying.

31.) 20 Jul 2016
20 Jul 2016 16:12:46
Just a quick question Ulf, regarding your impending defection to Forest

Is that the Forest who's prospective new owner is currently on bail in Greece for match fixing, corruption and various acts of Violence?

Where does it say about these 2 players signing for an English club can't find it if it's true and is wolves I would think the deal would be complete this week hopefully.
