Don't shoot the messenger! Okay. Rob Edwards will be in charge for the behind closed doors friendly on Saturday as Jackett has been informed his services will no longer be required. Don't know how true this is just passing it on!

Why on earth would Kenny be told his services are no longer required prior to the new consortium taking over? That would technically mean Morgan would be dismissing him, unless. IT'S BEGUN!

Makes sense for Edwards to be in charge.

Seems to me that Morgan is unwilling to let wolves go but doesn't want to invest any money either, 1 sell and walk or 2 stay and spend, either way time is fast running out to build a squad to compete in a very difficult league FWAW.

We've had sources all week from the 'inside'' all saying the deal is done. I for one believe Ballague everything he reports happens, at the same time as his wolves rumours he also said Boro would sign Valdes. That happened last night and he tweeted yesterday there is no hitch it's all still on. I think a lot of this scare tactics are either from baggies fans or from inside the club to deter the rumours. I'm hoping for some good news soon no sources just optimism.

Pearbear - how can it "seem" to you that Morgan is unwilling to sell?!? Because the takeover wasn't completed in 20minutes?

Bit of cheer you up news is that Tim Spears as reported that all transfer talk as been held back due to takeover talks still on going, stopping we from even sighning free transfer Nick Powell.

Links-Wolf it's more like 2 weeks I think you'll find, just sayin the longer it takes the less chance "NEW" players will take to gel, don't want another season like last, we deserve much much better FWAW.

Lol, short memories! Players won't have time to gel? 😂 3 wins out the last 20 last season and one of them against sheff weds reserves! Those players and coach had 26 previous games to gel! We need this takeover whether it's today or December!

Pear - I beleive this has been going on longer than 2 weeks. We heard about it 2 weeks ago. But you can't back up your assumption Morgan doesn't want to sell. Ofcourse he wants to sell, but these things take as long as they take. Agreed, the timing is disastrous for us at the minute as our squad is appalling. But, these things happen.

You never know, if we start the season with negotiations still 'ongoing' the current crop of players might put the performance of their lives in to impress the new owners?

As soon as this is done and dusted the better for everyone. If its true that top agents are involved they will know who is coming in and what is involved to get us sorted so let's all take a chill pill. We will have players coming in that are currentlymplaying at a higher level than what we have been used too for the last 3 years. It may be a slow start to the season but theymwill gel and produce the goods. I agree Tamworth KJ has had 3 years to gel a team and has not achieved it so it cannot get any worse. Remember when this happens we are looking at a Major transformation like we have never seen previously at WWFC and it would not be a shock to see the majority of the current squad moving on by the turn of the year. The incoming Manager spent most of the last 3 weeks at the euro's along with some of his new back room team its been said back here in Spain.

I wonder if the Leave vote has slowed this down, as I guess Wolves value has crashed due to Brexit, £ worth less so much cheaper buy for Robin Li to buy. And SM will be taking a hit on Redrow too as shares and property investment took a big hit. And it could affect our ability to do Euro dealings, like being able to afford / attract a foreign manager or players. Or maybe it has nothing to do with it at all.

Whatever, imo, Robin Li is a perfect fit for us, he's a dream buyer I've been hoping for, Mr I. T., our identity potential is a perfect fit for him.

Ballague's latest tweet

The @FA has all the documentation from the potential @OfficialWolves buyers. Early next week they should get permission to reach next stage.
