Olympiacos are in advanced talks to re-sign Daniel Podence. They want to complete the transfer in two hours time from now, to put him in the list for Europa League matches

Update he has gone on loan to them, he has also agreed to sign a new contract with Wolves until 2025 so the club doesn't lose any value on him should they wish to still sell him.

See now that Saudi Arabians are sniffing after Sarabia. He hasn't set us alight but could we do without and let fosun bank another few millions? I think we should hold on to him until Jan, unless they're talking silly money.

If we lost Sarabia we really would have very few players that can find a through ball. I know we have to balance the books but if we end up getting relegated then we will have VERY real financial problems! For me we are currently down to the bare bones in terms of squad numbers, not sure we can afford to let any more go without being able to replace them?!

I presume that our rumoured interest in Jesse Lingard is because we might lose Sarabia to Saudi. The Saudi Arabia could also recruit Lingard for that matter. The Saudi window closes tomorrow I think, so if Sarabia is still with us on Friday we are in the clear. As LIngard is a free agent, Saudi Arabia will have more time to sign him.

See Deep I assumed that Lingard was cover for Podence and Adama?! We currently have two recognised wingers on the books when your chasing a game that basically means we have no options to change things from the bench. Our squad wasn't big enough to begin with so this approach of three out and one in just can't be sustainable. Not if we want to remain competitive?!

Have to agree Bully. Our goal against Everton and the couple at Palace all came from winger-assists. Seems our best chance is to chuck it into the box as we're doing zero down the middle. And nope, out squad isn't big enough. Don't know why Podence was frozen out. He was our top scorer last season.
