Allegedly that 18 year old Chilean kid Dario Osorio from Universidad de Chile that Wolves knew nothing about is now going to be signed in a £4M deal.

That sounds promising Longmynd, he certainly seems to possess good ball control and a decent left foot though he’ll take time to adjust if and when he arrives.

Trouble is Osorio will be another one for the future and they never seem to be given a first team chance. There must be something badly wrong with the succession of younsters at the Mol. Even Kilman had to wait until 24/25 and I doubt he would have had his chance if NES had stayed.

I agree Mikebayleaf.

Being saying for ages that I can't understand why Wolves wait until a player is going to have to further their career and find a club that will actually put them on the first team bench before they consider playing them, ie when they're 23. Why do other clubs seem to have exciting teenage prospects suddenly appear on the scene, products of their academy? The other option seems to be send them off on loan until the player likes his new home and insists on staying there. MGW has treated badly UNTIL we absolutely needed him. I'll bet if we weren't desperate for mid fielders he would be out on loan again.

On the subject of injuries. Anyone remember when we played an enormous amount of games a few seasons ago with hardly any injuries? Those were the days

In what way has MGW been treated badly? He needed game time and was loaned out,to his benefit and, hopefully,the club's too. Don't forget that he was also a very naughty boy.

I agree old wulf, some are making him out to be our saviour when in effect,on the back of half a good season in the championship he is no more than to,a decent championship player.
He's not going to sign the contract extension so sell to the highest bidder
