Now that Fosun have confirmed that VP won't be sacked, I'm pre empting the next week.

Monday - Teti and VP summons to a meeting by Shi where he thanks them for their efforts and offers them a new and improved contract.

Tuesday - Light training for the team in preparation for the Chelsea game.

Wednesday - Narrow 1-0 win in extra time thanks to a goal deflected of Hwangs backside. Tolu gets a start too to thank him for his patience.

Thursday - Cool down session

Friday - Light training

Saturday - 4-0 defeat against Fulham but VP cones out and says that the squad are behind him and that the fans should be grateful that the squad try to compete. Hwang starts, does nothing and Tolu get 45 seconds to impress.

Saturday evening - Jeff Shi reiterates his support for VP.

I don't think I've ever felt so disappointed and disillusioned in my 60 years as a Wolves fan than I am right now. Yes, we've been in far worse positions but that was against a totally different backdrop of circumstances with owners that couldn't afford to fund a reasonable level of success, but Fosun can, that's what really grates.

Why have they allowed it to go this far? Why would they risk losing hundreds of millions? Why is Jeff Shi still in his job? Let's not forget it was only a few months ago he was telling anyone stupid enough to listen that he had been remiss in recent years but had now rekindled his control of transfers and footballing matters. I'm guessing the decision to repeat the exact same mistake they made with GON was his as well.

Where's the urgency to correct these errors? VP will not turn this around as he is also repeating the same mistakes week after week, that's blindingly obvious. If this Club is to stand any chance of survival at this level we need serious change throughout and fast, although I suspect it really is too late as the damage is looking terminal. Can't Fosun see what's happening or don't they care? Were we all just taken in by their claim to seek success or was that all bs. Was the plan always just to get promoted then tread water, thereafter?

I can't see hope coming from anywhere at this club, VP's lost it and if he goes Teti won't be far behind that just leaves Jeff Shi really and he's of no use. What a mess.

Long, most of us come on the forum because we love our Club.
The way things are being managed is soul-destroying.
.and the worst bit, I don't see any hope of change.

Oh wandering that is so true, it made me laugh but it is so true.
Then again, a little bit of my heart hopes that it's the proverbial backing of the board and that after we've been humiliated at home by Chelsea youngsters VP will be gone.
Of course Shi dosnt see things as others do, his comments can never be trusted, Fosuns promises have proven to be lies, so perhaps VP is in league with him.
We in the s**t deep, there's no easy way out apart from it being shovelled clear and that's not an overnight job.
We need a new management/coach approach, free up the players so they can use their given skills and enjoy the game. VP has got the strangest game plan for us at the moment, and seemingly playing his favourites who produce very little, and seemingly upsetting players in stifling their abilities.
Fosun are taking the fans for fools and extracting any cash they can, from the seasons shirts, to the dog beds on sale whilst not prepared to invest in the ground let alone players.
My personal gripe is hearing bl**dy Mary Hopkins 'those were the days' before KO, it sums it all up really, we've long gone past the heady days of fosuns arrival, of hope and exciting players astounding us and crashing the big 6 party.
Hi Ho, every cloud as a silver lining, maybe we'll see one again after we've been in the championship and the present clowns have gone.

Yes. It's a complete and utter shambles and VP will not be able to turn this around. I've said this before but to repeat in any other business that has tailed off so badly the CEO would have been sacked. I just can't understand the recruitment policy. We immediately sign Fer Lopez, then don't play him. Jackson at RB but the play However who crosses into the box are dreadful. Andre has obviously fallen out with VP. Tolu not given any real opportunity to show us what he can do. Arias much too lightweight. It's just so frustrating to try and put into words that really apart from J Gomes we are a mid table championship side.

As I understand things, Longmynd, Fosun's initial claims of seeking success were genuine and, as history tells us, their initial years of ownership saw us move on an upwards trajectory with upper Premier league finishes, an FA cup semi and Europa league quarter final. However, the Chinese government then tightened capital outflow controls and discouraged " extravagant " overseas investments leading to a severe tightening of the Fosun pursestrings and the introduction of Jeff's self sustainability requirements on orders from above. There are a myriad of reasons for our current predicament but the root cause of many probably lies somewhere in Beijing!

Too close to the truth Wandering.

I've often made that point Old Wulf I know that is certainly a contributory factor. But if they are subject to these restrictions why not just sell the club if they can't fund it?

Maybe because of the kudos attached to being the owner of a Premier league club? Spending in January has extracted us from the mire over the last two seasons but its very long odds against it happening this season.

They'll let us go down strip us of assets from transfer fees, larsen gomez Andre h bueno Sa etc sell us on and we'll be f***?*d. We can only hope for massive investment from whoever takes us on, that's why they'll refuse the offer already made.
