Forget Coyle, Jacket and co, new coach will be some unknown Latvian who got relegated last year from the Latvian third div. However he is cheap and has spun M & M a good line about "the modern game"

29 May 2013 22:19:27
What I don't understand is why panic?

If a manger wants the job and I include Coyle and Jackett then let them prove themselves by waiting to be spoken to again.
I assume both are playing the game and will be interviewed elsewhere to try and force our hand if they get offers from other clubs.

What I hope is whoever comes in is the right fit for Wolves and if it takes another week or two so be it.

Yeh, that's just the way the football world works ain't it - everybody just sits around and waits, and zzzzz. waits. Thanks for the insight Jez.

wolfshead.

Its been 21 days now we are in div 3 how hard can it be and who would work with morgan/ moxley

With the recruitment process stumbling along whilst the board consider all their options with the potential for several decent managers choosing to not wait for a decision and withdraw from the process the question of should the club look back and approach Solbakken to continue where he left off.

He would not be my first choice but would be my second (above others) as I think the players he recruited showed class and the style of play if allowed to continue would have borne success, however his plan was stopped by several players (we know their names) and the board backing them over the manager, indeed the same few where identified by Saunders

would I be in the minority is thinking that perhaps reappointing Solbakken would be better than appointing someone who the fans don't want and have no Championship knowledge

Notwithstanding the above - get Coyle in

I for one would be happy to see Solbakken back at the mol.

Me to! .

Yea solbakkan wwwhhhhhoooo!!! Sale bacon no no no!! We again need solbakkan wwwhhhhhoooo.!!

29 May 2013 21:54:53
What is the problem up the mol. ffs get someone in place, how hard can it be to appoint a head coach/manager, there are plenty of candidates at the moment, pick one and let's get on with it. laughing stock springs to mind. again :- (

29 May 2013 18:59:45
Oh well, I think we can forget all the Poyet pipe dreams now! Strong rumours that he is off to Chelsea as assistant to Jose.

Thought we learned from passed experience, to get manager in has soon has one has been sacked, but no same mistakes, taking to long we are not in premier, so should be glad what's going and choose quickly has other clubs seek managers or coaches this time of year, with the new system we jhave you would of thought they would have had a list of names already in order to employ, but no that's to hard for wolves, hope they get it right this time or they will have to sell if they don't to someone who nows about football

29 May 2013 18:57:58
Id go for warnock he's got loads of experience he's gobby and i'm pretty sure he's the one who will sort that friggin dressing room out coyle and poyet will look higher and only come to wolves if there is no bigger offer give warnock a yearly rolling contract with first year promotion his brief

Wornock are u serious! Sxxx football an ludicrous altogether not for least choice

29 May 2013 18:00:01
Is it me or is this manager business turning into another big FARCE again.

Get KH out

Nail on the head always be like this with morgan bet liverpool are so glad he came down here

Only me who wants Kevin Keegan F/d or manager spirit 123

Another farce is right. I hope SM does not take this long to appoint his senior personnel in his company! I fear another extremely embarrassing situation. We are a L1 side and must get over the need to appoint a "special" one. Barry.

Would Wigan want Owen Coyle?

Pulis would be more attractive to them they need someone to get them into the Premier League with the ability to keep them there.

Owen Coyle will be the next Wolves coach I feel it in my water.

Just want manager who can come in and get this lot sorted out has quick has they can, going on to long now, should of learnt lessons by now the pair of you and thelwell

Your just pi--ing in the wind

Wigan are also interested in that Rene guy from ManU. Probably seen what Steve Clarke did for West Brom. We should be talking to him too (and maybe we are).

29 May 2013 13:16:58
Just had an invite to a do at molineux, quoting, to be:"Attended by the new First Team Management and Players". It's in the not to distant future either so their must be some movement behind the scenes!

I don't think so!

Great rumour, but don't hold Wolves too that promise.

29 May 2013 12:26:51
Rumour has it, the next wolves manager will be a bloke.

Some rumours have to be true right? #chill

Blown that Hope Powell rumour to bits then.

29 May 2013 10:59:10
tv say this mornin that owen coyle joint fav with stuart pearce 4 wigan job. Come on moxey get a move on!

29 May 2013 16:51:57
So the board are about to mess it up again with their dilly dallying around and the top guys will go elsewhere like Wigan, never mind there's a couple of coaches in the works league they have'n't looked at yet. As every day goes by they make us look a joke and the in sandwell make a laughing stock out of us in the daily star, but they don't have to put up with that in their ivory towers.

29 May 2013 09:52:46
Jackett is the man we need why takin so bloody long forget this business of assessing others mostly untried at a bigger club or large task

Think you'll find Jackett is untried at a big club too

Are we still a big club? We may have a big bank balance but we don't spend big. We are potentially big but we're not there yet.

Think ul find I said bigger club we have potential to be bigger than wall swans an w ford

Well I don't know if Wolves are bigger than Swansea or Millwall. At the moment it's hard to be sure. Big history, yes, big potential, maybe but that depends on what each manager might think.

This is L1 remember, playing Crawley, Walsall, Shrewsbury and Stevenage. Sheffield Utd is as good as it gets. A number of managers may find that a little, well, small.

29 May 2013 09:21:44
Coyle will not be our new manager he's off to Wigan! Another good manager we have missed out on. Perhaps poyet is waiting in the back ground?

I don't think Coyle will get the Wigan job, although I have no doubt he wants it. They'll want a rising star like Martinez when he was signed. So think Davis or Poyet or Friedman.

29 May 2013 09:01:44
Why everyone stressing Iv had a long good think about this like most wolves fans when coyles name came up I was like great get him in ASAP but now I'm leaning towards jackett looking at manger records coyle has gone slowly down everywhere he's been while jackett has been the same where he's been and with making teams from ends meat Watford Swansea and milwall hardly had a budget while he was there so I would like to see what he could do here and he would bring the football we crave or we could get lucky and we go for poyet who hasn't ruled his self out of the job but would look for prem football first

Everyone can guess our new manager but I'm sure it will be someone who nobody expects

Bet we end up with Warnock.

We seem to have a love-hate opinion of Warnock. Remember last year we thought Bruce and Holloway weren't good/exciting/worthy enough? Well look what they achieved. We're now thinking the same about Warnock. Frankly I'd go for him, on a well-paid performance-based year's contract to get us promoted.

29 May 2013 08:49:43
mmmm let's see coyle to wigan, jackett to sheff utd, davis staying at crewe-lets see that leaves us with a big fat nothing-again! is it me or does this sound familiar. yet again loads of interviews but by the time pinky and perky (sorry morgan & moxey)have done the interviews they wait to see who gets snapped up and then we take the cheapest leftover. hate to say it but i'm right! just look at the last 18months for proof. let's see what manager is avialable in the blue square north shall we! that will save morgan some money-again!

Well said, totally agree, prevarication and indecision will cost us dearly again whilst holding out for the cheapest option.

29 May 2013 08:46:32
sheff untd want kenny jackett, and wigan want coyle, ffs this is doing my head in how much longer

That's why we're getting Warnock. (Well, he's the obvious choice although we won't admit it)

29 May 2013 07:54:33
mk dons boss in advanced talks with wolves fc

29 May 2013 07:52:15
wigan want owen coyle sign him up now moxey or move on MAKE A DECISION

Kevin keegan is the man for wolves go get him Morgen

29 May 2013 07:06:52
Morgan has declared his decision to the rest of the panel, he wants Jackett. But he has been spooked by the E&S fans poll that is showing such a high score for Coyle and such a low score for Jackett. He feels that starting from such a negative base will mean fans will turn on him very quickly if there are any slips. So rather than commit now he is looking for a third option. You need to grow a pair Mr Morgan if you lot believe Jackett is the right man go for it. But this time for once you have got to back the manager. Johnson O'hara and Henry screwed the manager and the team because they knew you would get rid of him before you got rid of them.

Kevin Keegan the man to turn it round at wolves put (5000) on Gate football director get some excitement back onto the place and lose negative vibe

Great shout

No boring football attack attack attack even Doyle would hit double figures
