Well it is confirmed that Doumbia is off to France tonight and as Kenny says Doyle won't be playing league cup football this season so it must mean he is off to Celtic where he would not be cup tied.

unfortunately I am getting a little suspicious of the comments being reported to come from Kenny as they all seem to be softening us up for the message, "we cannot afford anyone because of the troublesome four so tough, the kids will have to do it as we cannot afford anyone"

Moxey is a shrewd business man no doubt and compared to Coventry I know which I prefer, but with the commentary coming out of the club I am feeling uncomfortable that there maybe an acceptance by the board that we are where we are in the league (s) and as long as we are not bankrupt that is the best place to be.

Hopefully over the next few weeks we will see a few new faces offering experience across the pitch especially someone who can feed the forwards and someone to keep goal otherwise I have a feeling the bookies will clean up this season as the favourites miss out on promotion and as a supporter I have to accept that we consider ourselves a well run debt free club without ambition.

Finally, Come on Wolves

1.) Thanks Warwick Wolf, pretty much agree with everything you said. Don't forget for every Coventry there is a United, City or Chelsea. I also think the board is letting the club finding its level without any financial input. But why won't they tell us their plans? Could it be that they realise that their only source of revenue, the fans, won't fork out quite so much to support a third tier club? Could it be that a third tier club won't need a CEO on an obscene salary and pension package? Do they realise that if they go down that route in ten years time you will see plenty of kids wearing Chelsea or Liverpool shirts about, but not too many of the home town club?
The silence is deafening!

2.) Same old. dinosaur of a manager. dinosaur tactics. cheating owners, no investment, the kids are clearly not good enough. Morgan OUT. Moxey OUT. Jackett OUT

3.) Superb-on the button

Well things are looking bright this morning, with Notts County loosing and Coventry being docked 10 points we have moved of the bottom of the table without kicking a ball

Come on Wolves

Well missed posting on here due to holidays etc but just had a good read of what's happening and had my second dose of a reality check realising that it's division 3 next year (first dose was day of relegation)

But my frustrations soon came back as we appear to be playing the Moxey game that is 1) Sell before we buy, 2) Buy cheap sell expensive, 3) Believe we have the quality needed already.

Although I accept that money will be tight and the fair play rules are limiting I just hope my cynicism is wrong and that Steve Morgan is good for his word and wants the best for Wolves but until he sees the light and removes Moxey I cannot see things altering to anything different to the last few years.

The Moxey strategy mixed with poor quality signings and a woeful managerial appointments (both of which watched over by Moxey) have got us to where we are

Come on Steve, we are behind the club, behind Jackett and if you get rid of Moxey we will be behind you, a clean start for a new season

Warwick Wolf

1.) Agreed, but why can't someone come out & say why has morgan taken out so much money to have got us in the s1*t.

2.) Warwick. Spot on

3.) Yes spot on I believe morgan is the cancer at our club

4.) Have you noticed everybody associated with wolves keep saying MORGAN loves the club and wants the best for it but I've never actually heard mr morgan come out and say this

5.) I really do not understand the Moxey hatred. His job is to ensure the financial stability and therefore longevity of the club, and I for one think he has done a fantastic job. Not only this, but Moxey was the only person at the club who openly said McCarthy should have stayed. If Morgan would have listened to him we would be in the Premier League, and not League 1 right now.

Future looks bright with Jackett, but Moxey is an integral part of Wolverhampton Wanderers, whether people like it or not.

Jay

6.) Would have to agree with Jay on this one. Financially we are so sound, have been for ages. Remember when we were able to sell Fletch and Jarv for the right amount? For a club going through hell it's great that we aren't financially in trouble either.

So the first job is done as we have Jackett in charge, not my choice but gets my support.

Now is the time or Morgan to show real belief and faith in the club and address the real issues and sack Moxey

The last three years cannot all be blamed on bad managers and players as they contributed in the main but Moxey has to take a lot of blame for the following reasons

1) Allowing MM to build such a large squad of mediocre players

2) Agreeing to player contracts that are too long in footballing terms

3) Not backing Saunders in January with transfer funds

4) Playing hard ball last summer and selling Jarvis and Fletcher to late so that Solbakken could not buy and extra few players forcing the "terrible trio" to sit on the side lines

5) Sticking with Solbakkens plan to sell Zubar just when Saunders had found a shape and our defence looked like it could defend

For Jackett to achieve what we require there needs to be other structural changes at the club and the main one must be to have better direction at the top.

Moxey has too much baggage associated with him and is part of the problem

Come on Steve, sack Moxey

Fed up with reading all the rumours about who is going to be our next manager and thought that perhaps a little thinking like Morgan may inspire me and give me a better understanding of his methods - think like him, see the world like him

So I looked at the results of "house builder of the year" awards for 2012 to check that Redrow are inspired market leaders.

The first award they are mentioned in and WON was for the "best marketing initative " award for their "Share a bit of joy campaign"

Obviously no Wolves supporter for the last two years has been aware of that campaign

Second mention is for the "Large" house builder - Obviously thinking of Jez then

unfortunatly I cannot see any mention under the catorgories for Sustainable, Best product or Best regeneration

After reading that can I ask that everyone out there to please start submitting rumours

Warwick Wolf

1.) Why are you so negative. Give the bloke a chance as he has not even been given the job, and a hell of a job it is. Four manages have been sacked because of a core group of players, who nobody wants, are on long contracts, big wages and have have performed dreadfully over the last two years. Whoever gets the job has my best wishes and I will be there every game.

I think that Moxey is hanging out to find out what is going to happen with Doyle as I recall his loan spell ends soon but happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

If I am right I cannot see any striker arriving with Doyle back in the camp twiddling his thumbs costing Morgan money every week.

Therefore, do we give him another chance???

One of the reasons we are impatient is because of recent history.

After MM was sacked the saga unfolded around the Curbishly / Bruce appointment and in the end we got Mick's side kick.

Then after he went despite promising better we appointed Solbakken, a great appointment but not liked by many and never given time resulting in the ultra fast appointment of Downo

The reason for most fans frustration is that that we know what is needed but it appears to the M's do not

Sounds good but not good enough I suggest.

Next season must be tackled not as a rebuild but seized as an opportunity with a plan that we are promoted before Easter, my preference is to agree with the majority of what you say but get in a few more experienced players that will assist us the season after next as I don't think the above would cope sufficiently in the championship and I would prefer an over developed squad this season that works well and improves and is capable as a minimum of obtaining a playoff place in 14/15' in summary the team that starts in August needs to be good for at least 18 months before the January 2015 transfer window

I understand your thought process and to a degree with your sentiment although possibly not the choice of manager.

However my concern is not next year or even the year after that but hopefully in 24 months time if we have been promoted twice in succession.

Managers who thrive on a shoe string budget in our league and lower do not translate into mangers who buy well or can handle players ego's.

The choice of a lower league rising star manager may be good in the short term but in the medium to long term all the club will do is end up sacking the manager for failure.

I believe between now and the premier league we will need to rebuild the team twice, once to get us out of division 3 with big changes once we get to the championship to get us out of it as there will be teams with large parachute money in the mix wantingo returnto the prem, we will then need a third team to keep us in the premier league

The character of person required to do this is not one that survives on a shoe string especially when the team that they have moulded and motivated is disrupted by players purchased by someone else, but this idea raises another question of Wolves, will the "head coach" be just that, a coach, or a coach that sorts out tactics, style of play and requirements for the future.

If the plan is that the head coach only coaches I think that we may as well all stop guessing and pontificating on choice and accept anyone as in no doubt the clubs ambitions will be proverb to have been lowered compared to that of the supporters
