I was at Wembley yesterday, in the Spurs end with my Spurs supporting family.
I live in Hastings so don't get to watch Wolves as often as I'd like.

Observations.
Patricio - excellent keeper, kicking is not reliable.

Bennett - Poss best free transfer ever for us? He was excellent

Coady/ Boly - superb

Moutinho - oozes class

Neves - great work, esp when he plays deep

Jiminez - work rate and dedication is phenomenal. Great player

We did not put in a decent corner until Moutinho came on, 1st one he delivered we scored from.

Wolves support - exceptional noise and support of the players regardless.

Spurs support - were right on their team's case in the second half, started to talk about going home when it got to 1 - 1. Dreadful slagging off of the team and players. When the 3rd goal (! ) went in it was like someone had pulled the bath plug out and the stadium emptied.

Their players felt this, without question. Didn't Frimpong say once that Wolves had something special because of the support their fans gave to their players? This is so important!

As I’ve already said, Adama T is a good player and if we get behind him and play him on the right wing, his confidence will return and goals will come. Sorry to see him go off, pleased to see Costa get a goal. Great performance from the boss down. ⚽️😉👍.

Agree, he’s a bit untamed. Exceptionally quick and strong. I thought he played very well yesterday, he’s definitely a winger. The Spurs fans around me sighed with relief when he was injured and taken off.
To be replaced by Costa who scored!

Cav sale? First I’ve read/ heard of it, why would we sell one of our best players whilst I trust in Nuno Cav would play every game for me as long as he was fit.

sdav78 There's no way they'll sell Cav. just look how much he affects the game when he's playing. He's been one of the most consistent when he's been fit.

Funny you should mention Frimpong just as the transfer window opens lol.

We are always fussy about the players a couple of poor games and we want rid then when they are dropped and we have a bad match we say why wasn't they playing! Happened to Cav.
