We need a striker so why not go for it and bid for Assombalonga of Forest?

Do we? Bodvarsson scored yesterday, Joe Mason played well, we still have Dicko to come back and Niall Ennis looked promising in preseason.

Yeah we do as dicko is good when fit but mason not good enough for me, I think we need a new spine down the middle with a striker, ball wining centre mid and a centre back and pick a captin out of one of the later 2.

I wouldn't write Mason off at all, strikers are all about self belief and confidence. Given a bit of time Walter may do wonders with Mason (who was messed about by Kenny last season and may now be full of nerves he's going to be left behind and sold by the new regime with big money players coming in) .

Think Mason could be really good, signing him was the one highlight for me of last season, he's Wolves, let's give him a chance and just support him.

And we maybe need to be careful of picking a new Captain out of the new arrivals so quickly, might exclude those already here like happened with Johnson and upset the dressing room and team spirit (especially considering the new arrivals are probably on much higher wages) . Would be better if new arrivals are seen to be fitting in with our existing team and we evolve it, rather than our team having to fit in with new arrivals in a revolution.

And that's kind of what Walter said yesterday, the new players are stars, but can only be because our existing players are too and make it work for them, they are all a team. And Walter was very in with Danny end of game, think he should remain Captain for now.
