Can't see manu finishing top 3, lakaku no better than zlatan so team not really changed, spurs been best team in England last 2 years only been beat by teams playing only domestic footie, don't be fooled by playing at Wembley as they are a top team, man city, Chelsea, spurs top 3 for me.

8.) 08 Jul 2017 15:24:49
Put your money on it then instead of pickin faults with my bet! Simples. By the way man Utd haven't finished buyin yet and Spurs will struggle at Wembley.

9.) 08 Jul 2017 16:10:43

2.) 01 Nov 2016 12:31:36
De Boer is one of the worst managers I have ever seen in my life, I have lived in amsterdam for 5 years and my partner is a huge ajax fan so I frequently watch their games. Under his tenure, what has to be described as the most talented squad in dutch football barely won the title each year through the odd moment of individual skill and luck, the footbal tactics and man management employed by De Boer was nothing other than farsical, he fequently lost the dressing room and exiled players for having any bad word to say about his methods. He also sold or dropped extremely talented and skilled players because they didn't score enough despite not being strikers ( for example Kishna) he is also the manager that loaned bojan from barcelona and decided his best postition was on the left wing and then complained that he wasnt scoring enough.

Morning update, just gone past moll and nothing happening out side, won't be long though before some tool comes on and tells you that there are 8 sky vans and a Chinese circus outside!

Rogue1

1.) 14 Jul 2016 08:08:03
Ah Rogue they turned up a minute after you, you missed then! lol.

2.) 14 Jul 2016 08:30:45
They have just pulled up Rogue1 lol.

3.) 14 Jul 2016 08:35:59
There's 5 sky vans parked up in Grant Way.

4.) 14 Jul 2016 09:19:47
I was googling, and discovered there is actually a place called Tomorrowland! It's a theme park, it's logo is gold and black and it says it's permanently closed :- (

5.) 14 Jul 2016 09:25:51
I hear from my contact nothing will be forthcoming this week, next week at the earliest and it definitely won't be a Chinese takeover.

6.) 14 Jul 2016 09:43:43
There are no Sky vans at the ground, nothing at all.

7.) 14 Jul 2016 09:52:37
lol, maybe we've been bought by Ancient Aliens and while the announcement won't be made till next week (our time) , they used a time portal into an alternate dimension to really do it 10 years ago, so although it hasn't caught up with us yet and won't till next week, we've never really had to suffer the Morgan and Moxey double act at all and have already won the Champions League! Is it possible.

YES!

8.) 14 Jul 2016 09:55:47
TomorrowLand is Robin Li's new multi-million pound theme park football team. YesterdayLand is the Wolves Museum.

9.) 14 Jul 2016 12:58:25
Dont you think the longer it goes on the less we are going to be bought out.

I have a feeling that the Chinese take over is Steve Morgan way of laughing at us again and Moxey the fat toad is buying the club. Which means dragout the rumours until after the tranfer window closes.

I hope I am wrong.

13 Jul 2016 07:59:40
Nothing outside moll as just gone past and no activity outside.

Rogue1

1.) 13 Jul 2016 08:54:40
I've just driven past there very slowly too and it's quiet at the moment - this is the quiet before the storm today hopefully.

2.) 13 Jul 2016 09:03:34
Press conference today.

3.) 13 Jul 2016 09:19:14
Gold finger is that a guess!

4.) 13 Jul 2016 12:50:49
I have a very good source thay works for wolvrs and believe me they know as much as, we do at the moment. So all the people saying they have a very reliable source and things are happening are lying.

5.) 10 Jul 2016 10:12:50
We're do you here this!

6.) 10 Jul 2016 10:22:10
see that trying to translate it.

7.) 10 Jul 2016 10:26:02
You able to translate into English?

8.) 10 Jul 2016 10:27:16
How do you translate this into English?

9.) 10 Jul 2016 10:45:24
Spanish paper Sportyou 10th July 2016
confirms categorically that Lapotegui
is to be the new manager of Wolves, also mentions the names of Juan Carlos Aravelo, Pablo Sanz and Fernando Gaspar.

10.) 10 Jul 2016 10:47:53
bugged if I know could not translate but wolves/ wolverhampton always the same lol.

11.) 10 Jul 2016 11:00:52
Issued 10th July section translated.

Julen Lopetegui will be the new general manager of Wolverhampton, team of the English second division. In the absence of the signature of his contract and his assistants, the commitment is complete with Posum Chinese group has entered European football with force.

Lopetegui input start directing the 'Wolves', although the owners want it to be the image of the company in Europe.

12.) 10 Jul 2016 11:04:11
It says he will take his staff from Porto, the three mentioned by Karlis (above) and add an assistant with knowledge of the championship. All has been agreed just waiting on the Finalisation of the deal.

13.) 10 Jul 2016 11:14:58
Depending on whether you use an Android mobile or not it will ask if you would like the original translating into English.

14.) 10 Jul 2016 11:38:08
If someone wants to put the link, my wife is Spanish and she'll translate it, and not just literally, she can get through the phrasing of the article also.

15.) 10 Jul 2016 12:00:49
Above is translated in English.

16.) 10 Jul 2016 12:49:00
Just read this on SPORTYOU site from 29/ 06/ 16,looks like Jacket might be staying on as assistant coach, it reads, Lopetegui wants to have a second assistant is already at the club and knows the English competition and the intricacies of Wolverhampton.

17.) 10 Jul 2016 13:07:14
Wouldn't work mate and imo won't happen.

18.) 10 Jul 2016 13:12:10
Re RugeleyWolf2, your translation bit.

"Lopetegui input start directing the 'Wolves', although the owners want it to be the image of the company in Europe. "

That sounds like they intend for Wolves to lead their brand / be the identity of their group / consortium in Europe, which makes sense, as Wolf is the new Chinese symbol for enterprise, which is what Chinese business competing in foreign free markets (like Europe) is all about.

This has the makings of being massive, like potentially they intend for us to be the next Man City.

19.) 10 Jul 2016 13:17:33
I agree with what you say that it wouldn't work but it does read that its someone who is already at the club?

20.) 10 Jul 2016 13:23:34
Has Moxey got a track suit? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

21.) 10 Jul 2016 13:24:04
Hi Ulf,
Dare we dream. should all be clear to us next week. Depends how long Football League need to formally ratify I guess.
Out of Darkness.

22.) 10 Jul 2016 13:28:27
My money is on Rob Edwards!

23.) 10 Jul 2016 13:41:55
Agree with that George.

24.) 10 Jul 2016 13:58:45
What does this mean ''Lopetegui input start directing the 'Wolves', although the owners want it to be the image of the company in Europe''is he going to be director of football or is it just the wording? Also what does having Wolves ''in the image of the company in Europe''? will it effect historic Wolves etc?

25.) 10 Jul 2016 14:04:06
Rob Edwards is the only choice imo. No way KJ can or would stay
Hand shake and a mega payout. He can then continue to bore us all as a TV pundit along with Dean Saunders.

26.) 10 Jul 2016 14:15:11
I think they mean they are not taking Lopetegui out of Europe by putting him in some 2nd Division English backwater, but rather they intend for him to help transform Wolves into a European success, so that Wolves will be the lead / defining identity of the brand of their consortium and it's other business activities in Europe, with 'wolf' meaning enterprise in modern Chinese corporate thinking.

I'm going to guess AC Milan is a stop gap to help them get experience and contacts in Europe, will feed Wolves to get round FFP, Robin Li may end up pulling out of his share of that when Wolves project properly off the ground so no conflict.

And I wonder who the person who knows the English competition and Wolverhampton very well could be? I guess it needn't be anyone here right now, could be a figure from our past, maybe even Glenn Hoddle! He is known in Spain where a lot of this appears to be getting formulated.

27.) 10 Jul 2016 15:25:32
The article does not translate very well to be honest but it covers the bones of the article. Very good point you make Ulf although I don't think it will be noddles.
Strange but Giggs turned down staying at Man utd the same week this all took hold, just a thought!

28.) 10 Jul 2016 19:41:07
Yeah, I tried to translate it from Spanish to English and put it on the We Are Wolves website earlier (David Smith) . I probably got it wrong but the article itself is indeed very difficult to understand due to bad grammar.

Only plus side out of the lake of the forward required is it gives all the joke fans on here a voice to moan and groan, shows people in there true colours even though we have signed around 10+ players since last year, true fans keep the faith and we know who we are, disappointed but loyal!

Rogue1

1.) 01 Sep 2017 07:39:17
Joke fans? just because of a different opinion to you wtf, some major mistakes have been made at the end of this window by high ranking people at our club and left us short at the sharp end of the pitch and also strengthened a few of our direct rivals which I don't get at all. No matter which way you dress this up there will be serious words at molineux this morning. Pass Nuno that free agent list!

We need a quality striker. I'm seeing we haven't bid for Chris Martin! If that's right it's not good news. Definetly need two quality strikers. Stearmans a waste of time. Gone past his sell by date.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 07:57:03
I'm sure Ivan's a good player but as I said before he's not a goal scorer. His games played to goal ration is not good! It's quality strikers we need. Not saying he's not good because I'm sure he is.

Not sure what all the panic is over getting players in, we have been told 5-8 players in 6 weeks so why you need to see 4 players signed in a day is not going to happen, yes we look more like relegation that promotion at the moment but I have seen teams in bottom 3 at Xmas and finish in the top 6 so let's keep cool, good teams in this division like the toon, villa, Derby and Norwich so let's get rid of 3 of these and think the season after will be wolves year when Burnley and Hull are back down, this year is about building a solid foundation and then it's game on, keep the faith we are wolves.

Translated this from Spanish website
Lopetegui
The Spanish coach will lead the Chinese sports project group, Posum. Thus it falls from the betting on who will be the new national coachο‚‚   ο‚ˆ 

Robin Li, representative of Posum, is finalizing the purchase of equipment, as well as Milan of Silvio Berlusconi .

Lopetegui that has not yet been able to sign his contract until the purchase is closed, will take up his usual Staffordshire county work computer. As an assistant you will be with Lopetegui, his friend and companion when players were active as Pablo Sanz has already been dismissed from Porto where he headed the quarry of the 'Dragons'. The trainer is Fernando Gaspar. Juan Carlos Arevalo will be devoted to the preparation of porters and still undecided, it will also be part of the technical team an analyst who now works at the RFEF and specializes in video and software. Lopetegui wants to have a second assistant is already at the club and knows the English competition and the intricacies of Wolverhampton.

Julen Lopetegui was one of the candidates to succeed Vicente Del Bosque in the position of coach if finally leaves the RFEF. Since he ruled out for several weeks because he had already committed to the Chinese giant but nothing is signed yet.

Rogue1

1.) 10 Jul 2016 12:28:01
For porters read goalkeepers. The RFEF is effectively the Spanish football federation. So looks like we are going to have specialist data analysis. Whether or not that is what Thelwell was trying to do I can't say I ever saw its application, maybe KJ was just too old school. Big Sam has proved that it works and must be the way forward with everyone committed. I don't think our new owner would be happy not using IT to its maximum potential.
