Only if they buy him.

You're getting boring now.

Wow. Just wow. Who needs official announcements from Wolves when we all can hear unconfirmed, clickbait recycled rubbish from ITK RM J.

I have no idea if any of these rumours are real or not but at least this would make sense for Neves and perhaps even Wolves
Going to Arsenal - who are a modest side at best - from Wolves is hardly a career defining move but Man U do offer genuine title contendership and European hopes.
For Wolves rather than straight cash perhaps a Lingard plus cash or Lingard plus (optimistically) Telles swap might make sense for all parties?
If we take cash we have to buy at least one more first 11 player (We possibly need 3,4 or even 5 already - assuming Rui and Moutinho go and Otto and Neto are still injured) with everyone knowing we are now a desperate buyer and therefore putting price up. Lingard and Telles could fill 2 of the gaps we have?

These are all assumptions. There is nothing to suggest that we are desperate buyers. Players will only be sold if the asking price is met. As it stands, no player has left us despite the media claiming that deals are done every day.

#ITK as usual matey, I'll give you one thing, you're persistent, though a bit boring now.

Jas - As I said if we sell more players, (beyond Patricio and Moutinho) and if Patricio and Moutinho leave with Otto and Neto injured ( you accept that they are don't you? ) we possibly need more first 11 players.
I didn't add that Boly and Saiss will probably be missing for a period or time for AFN.

And Jimenez may well not come back at the level he was.
But of course you and the club may feel that this is all fine and we can simply play the existing squad - keeping Patrico and Moutinho and waiting for the injured playrer to return.

I suspect that this wouldn't end well and I strongly suspect everyone in the game other teams, players and their agents know this as well.
So maybe we aren't in a weak position at all but it is my view that even if we aren't now if we sell more players we will be. Consequently we shouldn't be selling (more) players, (Including Patricio, Moutinho and Neves), without ensuring we have tied up quality replacements - actually maybe not that far from your position?

I accept what you ate saying TFIOG however what I am saying us that at the moment, as it stands today, the players that you talk about are still at the club and still under contract. You seem to think that players will be sold and as a result, we will become 'desperate' buyers as you put it. However what happens if only 2 players leave and we have already their replacements, would you still class us as desperate?

As you say if we sell players.
Then if we have their replacements tied up coterminously that would be v sensible and would protect us from being identified by others as in signifincant need, (we, in my opinion, actually do need to sign more than 1 or 2 players, even if we don't sell, as we have injured players and a squad, that as seen last season, is too small and inflexible, even before you take into account the inevitable on going decline due to aging of some of our senior pros but I think that is not that much more than a natural annual cycle all clubs go through) and therefore desperate.
Which is why in the thread above I suggested that if we sell Neves, (not that I am keen to do so), we should do so not for straight cash, (particularly a modest given his talents like £35m), but for a suitable replacement or an addition (or 2) to the squad that fills other needs.
For me Lingard and Telles ( a player, that if we don't sign RAN - with Otto injured and Marcal unreliable due to injury could fill the need we have at LB) would be a sensible swap.
Jas I know I am a bear and suspect that you are a bull but despite seeming to disagree quite a bit I am pretty confident that much of it is merely nuance or shades of grey as we both desperately want Wolves to succeed and thoroughly appreciate all that has happened over the Fosun era.

Lingard and Telles for Neves would be a stunning deal TFIOG and I can’t see the multi-tasking Jeff Shi attaining such heights. The whole concept of wheeler-dealing for first-team players that we need at top clubs is attractive.
However I just keep thinking that the powers that Shi are looking to realise cash to ‘invest’ in Mendes assets.
At a time when resources (cash for transfers) at the club are looking scarce, unless we find some imagination in the market and stop looking in one blinkered direction, then we have big problems.
Currently a bear but hope to be pleasantly surprised.
