Let’s just get behind Gary and see what he can do. If we get to Christmas and things look like they are going down the toilet, FOSUN will have to act like last January to bring someone else in and have to spend too. Maybe by then Everton will have been punished for breaching FFP, maybe a points deduction? Maybe Wolves are waiting to see what happens with them and City and then decide if and what they need to do. Will it be too late by then? I hope not. Hopefully we will just have a rollercoaster ride again and finish mid table and then spend next year. It’s certainly never boring being a wolves fan!

We all need to take a deep breath here. If we are to believe Fosun then we can't spend any money of any significance due to FFP rules. If that is true then it does not matter who owns the club or how rich they are we are stuck. JL had already decided it was not for him so if he had stayed this negativity would have got to the players. We are where we are. We now have a young well regarded coach. I have no idea how it will play out but I will know where we are after a few games by seeing how we play. I don't think you can rely on the Bournemouth type of play as he was in a relegation scrap. If we continue in the way we played against Rennes we will be fine and finish mid table. I can't think of a single Wolves player who is not going to give this guy a chance. They are mostly young and want to learn and progress. The senior players in the club are all grounded and have no egos that have been displayed to date. The background staff will be more interesting as he starts with no-one and I am not aware that he has a ready made crew. I wish him all the luck in the world. After six games or so let's all review.
