Cutrone to stay and prove his worth according to E&S piece. Lage questioned over him.

One crucial piece of the puzzle is to get more out the players we have. Supposed to be one of Lage's best traits. I like how Cutrone always puts a shift in. His pressing numbers stat wise are some of the best in Europe. However goals is what he needs goes without saying.

The fact we haven't got more business done before the season opener is a concern. But we will always make signings out of nowhere.

Centre back and a solid midfield player sooner than later though!

I'm not a fan of Cutrone but if he stays I think Bruno will improve him. Who knows, stats can be misleading. Steve Bull didn't sound up to much when we signed him from Albion! The signing of Raul Jimenez didn't exactly set the Wolves fan base alight but he became arguably our best centre forward since the turn of the century.

Thats positive, its noticable how -at the moment - many of the rumours surrounding players departing are subsiding or seemingly not materialising. I think we all -half full as well as half empty posters- know the spine of the squad needs strengthening but it looks like Bruno and the players are looking to give each other their best.

I always felt when Cutrone played for us he was quite isolated and not always picked out by the midfield. Seemed on a hiding to nothing most games for all his effort and you could see him getting frustrated.

Would like to see him get some game time before the January window in a different tactical set up. If it works then great - it will be like a new signing. If it doesn't then the club should look to offload him permanently as one who didn't work out.

I'd like to see a right sided centre back come in as we never really replaced Bennet. Although we have Mosquera now, the right hand side is still light as Boly looks more comfortable on the left as do Saiss and Kilman, and I'm not really sure what Hoever's best position is.

Also a pacey central midfielder who can support the attack and break between the lines. A bit like what Maddison or Barnes do for Leicester. We wouldn't get those players but I'm sure there is someone of that mould out there for us.
