I totally agree with all of you our once great club, is once again in total shambles. I offer a little respite from all the doom and gloom. It is a rumour and purely that. MOXEY phoned the Decorating Co that Wolves use, and said he needs the tunnel the players come through and onto the pitch re decorating for this wknd. Currently it has pictures of Wolves past great players, to inspire the current lot when they go on the pitch (clearly does not work) . The decorators said 'no way they could do it with such short notice. MOXEY offered Double and then Treble what they charge to do it as a major announcement is to be made this wknd. This came from someone who is best mates with the guy who owns the company.
Please don't shoot the messenger, let's wait and see.

Heard this off another source aswell, really hope its true, the sooner this club gets new ownership, the better! Kenny deserves to be reviewed for summer, see what players come in, not his fault he couldn't get the players he wanted in.

Interesting rumour RBB. Beats the one about Mourinho being seen in the local Asda.

Why would Moxey want to redecorate the tunnel? Good question. So off the wall that it could be true. Want to know my answer to this? It could be to do with new advertising boards going up in the tunnel. Advertising pitch-side is already bought and paid for, but not in the tunnel. With the Derby game on TV, the advertising exposure would be valuable. That could be a typical Moxey money-making stunt, but on the other hand it could also be advertising space for a new owner's "brand" or products.

Would Moxey make the call? Can't imagine my boss/ owner trying to arrange this surely one of his minions would do it but let's hope it's true we could do with a bit of good news.

Could someone please explain this rumour. I don't understand how people have tied new owners with this. Not being rude or sarcasticly so sorry if I've come across as that I just don't under stand it :)

I agree Darbo I doubt Mocey would be making these sorts of calls.

I am also sick of hearing these so called imminent announcements which never come to fruition.

Not one announcement rumour has been true so I'm sorry to be sceptical.

It seems pretty obvious that any potential owner of a football club with any "serious intent" would make the decorating of such a tunnel a condition of the sale and I say that knowing that anyone with the capital that would be needed in order to take a club such as this forward simply would not have the funds available to pay for the decorating of these walls themselves, neither would they have the imagination to think of phoning a local painter and decorator themselves in order to ask for advice about how to run a club the size of Wolves. Not even Morgan, Potato, Therwall and Moxey thought of doing that themselves at first. Now it's become second nature even to them to phone the decorators that they most trust when a players position becomes available at the very last minute in the team and they need some scouting to be done around the skirting boards. All this might look suspicious, but it actually ties in with all the rumours I'm hearing about the European consortium that have shown interest. I hear a lot of things when I talk to myself and also dribble, but I have definitely heard this consortium want to place Wolves at the centre of European concerns by developing a players tunnel long enough to run under the English channel and back again before it comes out eventually on the Molineux pitch. This will not only provide some of the highest paid players in the world a means to enter the Molineux pitch at the start of the match, but also offer a way in which when they can return in disgrace to the dressing room at the end of a home match, with a sizable bounty that is duty free. The top players generally like to have some photos of duty free items to post on their twitter feeds when things are not going so well on the pitch, because they know it makes the rest of us all feel better.

Tell me that you don't want to believe that and I won't ever make something like that up again.
