I agree we need a striker and have done so for a long time, my concern is that Kenny will get frustrated by our inability to close a deal and become a target for a more ambitious club.
Relating to my comment on the discussion below, that "Decent point" against Birmingham has became a bad point due to us not getting anything from the game at Ipswich. IMO if we win at home and draw some or lose some away not too bad, but if we only get a point at home, we need to get one point minimum away. If we follow that all season we will be up there. Again the argument comes around we need a striker and depth in the squad. 2-3 signings in Jan will help that and push us on. Not sure if we can get promotion this season but IMO its the best season to do it! depending on who gets relegated from Prem this year, could be VERY hard next season to compete
We def need a striker but last night was Macdonalds and Evans fault! If he doesn't bring anyone in before Saturday, get stearman back in and Scotty if poss. Put Sako up front Jacobs behind him and Henry and van la parra on the wings. I'd even contemplate droppin Evans or macdonald.
Why would you drop Evans, I'm keen to hear from wolves fans about Evans because I get mixed messages about him. where as IMO I think he's one of our better players, can pass the ball any where and is fairly quick and strong. Can play either CDM CM or CAM, not scared to have a shot and tries the killer passes which IMO Wolves haven't had in a long time
Your right he does do a killer pass! Straight to an Ipswich player that killed us off! To be fair he blows hot and cold like most the midfield, I was thinkin a change is as good as a rest, get someone fresh in and see what they can offer.
Can you see us buying 3 players and buying a decent striker in January

We've been punching well above our weight, we looked tired against blues even more tired last night, and will be even more tired on Saturday. Not everyone is going to agree ovbs but this would be my team on sat I'd bring stearman back at CB I'd put ricketts at LB and Rowe in CM eusbeio behind sagbo because sagbo can't do much more worse than Leon Clarke tbh can and I think he holds the ball up better at that's what we need he just needs games

Matt, Slightly agree with you selection but no way would I drop Evans, if anybody needs dropping its McDonald, and for Saville IMO, and Goldbourne would be straight back in for me!

Not convinced about the Eusebio/Sagbo attack. Have they even been on the training pitch together yet? In Dicko's absence there is no obvious number 9 so why would we even try and play with one out-and-out striker?
I wouldn't drop Henry either and probably not Evans. Would love to see Golbourne back but apparently he's injured (or so we're told).
Henry is by far one of our better players. He's really picked up as the season has progressed. Evans makes mistakes, but he's young and looks to be a star. I always compare him to the opposition players that fit his age category and I must admit he doesn't play half badly does he? I seem to remember seeing him out play Koby Arthur of Birmingham all night. He's not amazing get, granted, but looking at him now and the progress he has made from league one I would suggest he carry on playing as he looks like he could really be a good performer in the next couple of years. Rowe has to go, I'm confused by Jackett for the first time. Rowe doesn't get any better the more he plays at LB, Scotty or Ricketts please. Unfortunately Leon will have to play up front though he deserves criticism he's not awful at coming to collect the ball and playing it on (don't shoot me down, he's not great but not terrible) he reminds me of Doyle, he likea to collect and pass as opposed to shoot. Jackett has commented on a striker reshuffle and I'm very excited, I belive Morgan can finally see the potential and would conclude Wolves to be a worthwhile investment. We have proper placement amongst the Championship teams now, no one can doubt that we don't belong here, I guremtee we'll be able to draw in better quality now that we have battled on and proven ourselves. It was always going to be a struggle, everyone had us written out, everyone. Come January we'll will have a tighter squad and most importantly a better strike force.

Paul let's get things in prospective, Kenny came in at our lowest moment and with limited resources has done a wonderful job . Clearly we need to add to the squad but Rome wasn't built in a day . Keep the faith .
Not sure he can add quality we need? All summer we've been cryin out for a striker! He comes up with Sagbo!! I'm also unsure about his tactics, I know people say in KJ we trust but I think my ambitions for Wolves are far higher than his.
Reports going round on twitter from a football transfer agent that gayle for crystal palace is set join on loan antill end of the season if this is true then we have got a great young striker on the way but I can't see it personally
I also think that some of our players are starting to get tired and we haven't got a big enough squad to put other players in for them and give them a rest but 17 we're 9th 3 points of 4th, 4points of 3rd and 2nd and 5 point of top between the teams that go up automatic and the teams that finish in playoffs and that finish outside the play offs it will be close so don't count us out and I do agree with Paul plan A and B have been found out got a feeling we might see a different formation against forest or the team that started the season and we have now have 2 weeks to work on something new if the case
Lets not panic, We're still up there! Yes a poor performance but against a very good Derby team, and IMO if you finish above Derby this season you'll win the League. We've come a long way in a year, let's not get on the players the managers the boards back. January we'll buy 3 players and have a deeper squad and will push on for a top 6 finish which is better than I hoped for this season. I'd still be happy with a top half finish this season and give our players time to learn, as I keep saying we have a young squad!
