Wolves want to sign Fraizer Campbell on a season-long loan from Sunderland.

I hope so cos we need a striker who knows where the net is, with all that posession we had yesterday we should have put Shelfield away sooner.
Doyle is just not goal scorer and very frustrating watching him fall over all the time

It feels like now that the defence has been more solid people need something else to pick holes in. Doyle scored 50+ goals for Reading in 4 years. He can get goals. He is used to playing as the lone frontman in Mccarthys system, where he had to work hard with his back to goal and play others into the game, this really didn't help his career or confidence. From what I have seen he is running at the defence more and taking more shots, he needs time to get used to a different role. Patience is in short supply in football at the moment. Managers styles have a big effect on players careers, which is why I worry for Jarvis under Allardyce.

50 goals in 4 years ,average of 12 goals a season,
dont think that will get us up especially as Doyle seemed to be the main striker. Fletcher as scored 5 goals in prem with diff style so far so thats rubbish.

I have been a big supporter of Doyle but he aint scoring and his lack of goals in the prem made life very hard for us ,we cant afford for him to have a lack of goals in a lower div as well. we are only scoring goals from set pieces dont you think others teams will stop this eventually and were will we be then {Ed011's Note - I think Doyle's been closer to scoring goals than ever, he's been unlucky not to score and he's been vital to some of the goals we've got, I think Doyle has been far more of an important player than SEB has.

As for jarvis well wolves made him look good, its a case of a player thinking he is better than what he is.

Jarvis is lost at west ham sad but the money is in the bank n we got Sako would west ham swop 4 sure they would the wand of a left foot for the trickery n a 1 in 10 delivery loved jarvo but Sako will be a wolvo legend.

Wrong to slate Doyle after the way MM made him play. He will adjust, but that would be a lot easier with a really effective striker in front of him. Love SEB, but it 'ain't him for the future!

I think Doyle is class and will get better as the season goes on, he's not just technically good but also works his socks off. I think FC could be a straight replacement for blake if he continues to struggle and Sigs will get better as he gets used to England and the Championship. At worst Campell gives us more options. When Doyle first came to Wolves he was by far our best player as we struggled in the Premier. OK, we're all a bit older now, but Doyle's experience up front counts for so much more than just a raw tally of goals.

There is no Africa cup of nations this year so will you all stop saying were going to loose our players!

{Ed011's Note - Actually this is wrong, there is an African Cup of Nations in 2013, the African Cup of Nations does happen every two years, you're right about that. However, with the current schedule the African Cup of Nations is played in the same year as the World Cup every time there is a World Cup, so every four years they have both a World Cup and an African Cup of Nations tournament in the same year. So they've decided that it would be better to move the tournament to odd-numbered years. But rather than pushing back the next tournament and making the next one happen in three years, they've pushed it forward so there will be one in 2013.

There are still qualifying rounds. If Togo get through, Boukari may go. If Mali get through, Doumbia may go. Sako still wants to play for France I believe.

Ikeme could go, i think, if nigeria qualify and hes selected,he has been in a squad before so why not again, but then i dont know alot about nigeria's goalkeeping department, but i can't see why theres much point worrying, we re wining games regularly for the first time in three years
