Wolves will sign Doncaster defender James Husband this summer.

Unless they are giving the job to saunders dependant on whatever happens why would we be looking at signing players in the summer now?

and if they do give him the job I for one will be destroying my season ticket I stupidly brought

So any insider or Estate Agent pick up on our new winger from Wigan?

I have yet to see a rumour - a real rumour not just a post from someone who read a newsflash before the rest of us - turn into fact on this site.

But that's all part of the fun. Maybe one day someone will call a totally absurd rumour and it will be true. Or just re-post "Deano's last game" often enough and eventually it'll be right.

Hey Estate Agent where were you?

Absolutely disgusted with our owner! Really thought he would back Deano even with Tempory quality loans! He doesn't give a monkies for our club! If I was Deano i'd tell him where to stick his job! I want a new owner and I don't give a toss if it's Ken Bates or Peter Ridsdale! Paul Tamworth

Feel sorry for Dicko poor chap must be having to lkip in his motor. Estate Agent not been. asked to find high end apartment in Solihull.

Hi guys, you were looking for me? I was busy organizing accommodation for a forward/winger from Wigan by the name if Dicko. "The futures bright" & as always trust your estate agent. {Ed003's Note - this is not Estateagent btw}

I think some people forget something called a ip address :D

The truth will set you free.

Everyone saying its steve fault I honestly belive as I a few people have posted on here

that player don't want to come to a stuggling club with a rubbish manger who has no tacitcs no idea how to play good football, players go out on loan to learn gain experince what will they gainm from coming to us under deano? how to hoof the ball and how to run and try and get it brilliant

and secoundly people need to stop wishing steve to leave becuase if he does who will buy us? no one and no one will put megga money into us like we all expect and need and do we want to end up like blackburn and portsmouth etc?

i know I don't

we need to hopefully stay up this year bring in a good manger like mcdermot try for poyet if brigthon don't go up cut the squad and rebuild

Deano said there are financial restraints at Wolves! Do u honestly beleive Dicko a Wigan reserve was his 1st choice to bring in! This club is going to struggle season after season with Morgan in control! The only thing that may help us is if the housin market takes an upturn as all Morgans cash is in assets! There is no money in the pot so no point appointing a new manager with big ambitions as Morgan can't subsidise him! Paul Tamworth

And paul you know that's true how exactly?

we put 10 mil into players this season already which is one of the highest in the championship so pretty sure there's money there

we were unlucky with injuries to the new players but we should of held off and kept SS and given him the funding in january

By Wolves inaction in jan and the loan window! The Great Solbakken spent the kitty! There is no more big money bein spent by Morgan! Our only hope is outside investment, ie someone buys into the club or Morgan sells! Just hope and pray we get enough points to stay up! Paul Tamworth

Solbakken already proved in his brief tenure that he could attract good players with good technical ability, players who wanted to come and play for him and the club. nobody wants to come and waste their ability playing the hopeless out of date football that Downo dictates. Face the truth tamworth, we were in a better position with SS, but you, and the likes of you, couldn't see the big picture, and now the club is doomed for another period of stagnation and mediocrity! I don't blame Morgan in the slightest, which owner in their right mind would invest heavily with a squad that is struggling and a 'manager' (note the ''s) that can't inspire them and can't be trusted to buy quality?

Solbakken was never cut out for the Championship! Apart from Sako and hopefully Siggy the rest of his signins not up to the Championship! I'm not going to respond to anymore pro Solbakken texts as no point, I won't change my feelings I watched all his games in charge! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Paul Tamworth

You can delude yourself all you want Paul, it doesn't change the fact that we've achieved 2 wins in 12 with this clown in charge. The future is most certainly not Downo.

8 games to go, IMO 12 more points needed for safety! I don't care about the past 38 games there gone can't turn the clock back! By the way remember to put the clocks on an hour Saturday night! I'm going 3-1 Mighty Wolves! Paul Tamworth

12 points from 8 games? With Downo in charge?. you're deluded! Take your head out of the sand!. the only way we could go down any faster with this joker in charge would be if an iceberg were to hit us!

We selected a manager who had won consecutive national titles and reached champions league quarter final status. We replaced him with a manager who had experience in non league football and a relegation from the championship. Its going to be a rocky road ahead, but maybe Deano has it in him to come through.

Thanks Paul from Tamworth for clarifying the issue. There is a significant portion of the wolves board and fans that have no patience with change. All that criticism of MM for putting a shift in, yet really you loved him and just want more exciting run and run and run football. Forget patience and retaining possession. Just like our national side.

So I guess this is it. No-one in except an emergency keeper who was deemed not good enough 8 months ago.

Does this suggest that no-one wants to play for Saunders or that Morgan is giving up entirely and getting ready to sell?

My hope is the former, purely because I really do not want a repeat of the Bhatti Brothers, and neither do I want my beloved Wolves to do a Blackburn or Portsmouth and sell into the wrong hands.

But sadly we are going nowhere with Saunders even if we stay up, and nowhere for a longer time with the current board either.

Now I am really torn.

I do feel sorry for Saunders, he has done absolutely nothing for his reputation by taking this job. We needed someone crafty enough to short cut the ridiculous restrictions placed by Morgan and streetwise enough to tap up some unexpected loans. He seems just a straight guy placed in an impossible situation.

Personally I think Morgan appears to be doing a job comparable as the Bhatti's. This season we have made an £18 million profit we made a £13 million profilt and there's no money left to bring in a striker for a couple of months. Oh wait Morgan put £30 million into the club when he purchased it off Sir Jack and £30 million or so seems to have disappeared.

You are right about the £31m profit. But that was the football club, Wolves 1986 Ltd. The property company, Wolves Property Ltd has eaten £17m of the football profits, in the form of depreciation provisions for the new stadium. The other £13/14m should still be there, since no profits have been distributed to the owner. I guess this money has been earmarked to pay for the training ground, the museum etc. So the money has not disappeared, it has been spent on bricks and not on footballers.

Were getting Kevin Davies on loan for the remainder of the season, this is two fold (1) Bolton want to save on wages & (2) Davies wants out of B/Wanderers because they are not going to give him a testimonial match. Beat that Estate agent!

That is good news if it comes off! Paul Tamworth

Nice try, but he is getting a testimonial match.

Looks like its back to the drawing board, 'insider' {Ed011's Note - I've heard that he'll get a testimonial if he asks for one. Poor treatment of a club legend still.

Let's offer him a testimonial if he scores the goals to keep us up. In fact we can invite Bolton to play.

Lol McWulf, Good call! ;) Paul Tamworth

Well insider and estate agent like usual none of your loans came In what a surprise there

"{Ed011's Note - I've heard that he'll get a testimonial if he asks for one. Poor treatment of a club legend still."

When you say you've heard, do you mean you've likstened to a web site?

{Ed011's Note - I wasn't sure where I'd originally heard about it, I've probably discussed it with mates after I'd heard about it on TalkSport, I wasn't saying I have some sort of insider type figure which I don't and have never claimed to have done. When I said "I've heard" I was using it to mean that I'd heard differently but different news sources affirm what I'd said:

When talking to TalkSport the Bolton Chairman Phil Gartside said "“That 10-year rule no longer exists — we gave John McGinlay a testimonial even though he was only here for five years...Kevin is welcome to a testimonial.” - According to the Sun.

The Mail quotes Gartside as saying "If Kevin asks, we'll give him a testimonial. We look after players."

so as we all knew we won't sign anyone else what a joke they can't say there isn't any layers out there because other teams seem to be doing fine signing players except us and why but cause people running the club don't care and are just saying anything like our team is good enough i'm sorry but we have heard that all season and we have proved our team is not good enough and moxey and morgan don't believe our team is good enough but are just saying it because of the backlash from fans and when we get relegated moxey and morgan and the players playing have them self to blame no one else and GET MOXEY MORGAN OUT they never did anything good for us they just got lucky and took it now there luck is running out quickly.

Who will come in and buy us? look at other clubs in recent times how they ended up. Portsmouth, Glasgow Rangers, Birmingham City, Coventry City & Port Vale to name but a few. Be careful what you wish for.
Mel Sleeves.

All of the above clubs are in serious financial difficulties where as Wolves are not. That does not mean we would get someone in who is good for the club but it is also along time since I have felt embarrassed to tell someone I support the Wolves.

28 Mar 2013 13:19:28
Not a big story but kello has signed til end of season. {Ed011's Note - WE'RE SAVED!

So glad I didn't buy a season ticket now,, my worst fears are happening.

Get that morgan out

28 Mar 2013 12:51:13
We are trying for a loan of Will Keane. "The futures bright" & as always trust your estate agent.

Would be a good signing - this is a very talented player. however he damaged his cruciate ligament last year and has not played since.

GO AWAY U SILLY LITTLE MAN

I would be very happy with that. he is someone we should look to sign perm. a natural goalscoarer SAF thinks very highly of him. And just for the KeaneO chants alone might gte a feel good factor amongst the place.

28 Mar 2013 12:10:59
Well it looks like the Clown is still trying - and failing miserably. Two more knock backs from players out of contract in the summer. Why is it that nobody seems to want to come, could it be a fear of division 1 football next season or they don't want to join a circus? Keep trying Deano, I hope your players have more success trying to avoid relegation but somehow I doubt it!

I hope Jez and Steve realise this that no body wants to come and play for dean Saunders as they know he is. Poor manager

The players themselves did not necessarily knock Deano back - the clubs have to give permission to speak first if they refuse there is not a lot we could do

What a load of ****. players come for wages end of and that ain't Saunders fault even if he is out of his depth.

28 Mar 2013 12:02:34
Seems to be a little life left in the Kevin Davies possibility, but surely not on his wages!

28 Mar 2013 11:49:29
just over 5 hrs to go and still nothing lol, {Ed011's Note - We'll announce that Saunders is both happy with the squad, teams weren't willing to let players go, it wasn't that we didn't try to bring anyone is. As usual it's been an utter shambles.

I agree ed, think morgan coud be upto somthing, maybe going to sell, they make promsies they allways break them

Morgan will sell.

And who will buy us with how we have been run were in the championship everyone is stupid if they think anyone will buy us and if they do will not put mega money into the club. Morgan has tried to improve the stand and training ground which I totally agree with and think it should be done. Maybe timing wasn't great but he have money to sts this season the problem is we are stupid when it comes to buying players and managers. And maybe there excuse if us trying is correct I wouldn't want to play for a manager who has no idea and plays dreadful football I don't blame them for not wanting to come

What you on about nobody will buy us, can sell now for 5 pounds instead of ten if we go down

28 Mar 2013 10:36:27
{Ed011's Note - Move for Burnley's Martin Paterson has been rejected. Sean Dyche has confirmed that there will be no ins or outs at Burnley today.

Sign of the times I guess from international players to this in two seasons and possibly worse to come!

28 Mar 2013 09:44:15
martin paterson from burnley to wolves? thoughts

Yeh saw that Jason, I'd prefer a target man like iwelumo use to be for us. Paul Tamworth

No ambition!

You have to earn ambition.

Unfortunately our current form and league position means this is the best we can hope for.

Burnley reject wolves for paterson, wolves will not sign anyone, morgan, moxey deano out

I have a few Burnley mates and they say Paterson has looked sharp when played up front. Hasn't had a look in as Charlie Austin is well ahead of him. Has been played on the left wing, which explains his 1 goal in 20 return.

Think Burnley are being a bit daft in letting him go tbh. Can see Austin going to a bigger club in summer.

From what I've been told, I won't be unhappy about this signing. It's hardly as though we are going to be able to sign a Premier striker in our current postition. Else Jackson wouldn't have gone to Brighton.

Burnley have rejected the approach anyway.

Deano says we have only got to win our 4 home games, we struggled to beat bottom of league, anything to change the subject that we need players badly and morgan and moxey don't want to know, how long can this go on, we the fans are taken for persons, even bham are after 2 loan players from spurs, even walsall sighned goalkeeper from man. utd when we had ours back, but all we do his keep making excuses, and keep giving the same players who got we in this mess extended contracts, that's why the fans have had enough, don't forget mr. morgan the city of wton his knowed through its f. c. the f. c. his wton, because it would be nothing without it, and if you and mr. moxey cannot handle it then you should let someone else run it, who his passionate has the fans are like sir jack was.

I like the "only". How many home games have we won this year? Exactly. So 4 on the trot isn't very likely.

But then again we have Deano's trump card. We have Steve Hunt back!

(Sarcasm aside, I really hope he doesn't disappoint).

28 Mar 2013 07:55:23
If any loans happen today it has to be asked why not earlier? If Wolves really think they need signings to survive then they did one no two months ago and perhaps could have secured different results. Why risk leaving matters to the last minute. The only answer surely is money, they only want to pay the loan signings for the minimum period. Just like SS they delayed taking him on until July so he lost the whole of June to plan for the new season. Well they will reap the rewards of penny pinching and show just how clever they are. The loss of revenue next season will far outweigh the savings made, just another piece of disasterous directing.

If you beleive half the rumours it seems Darren Ferguson is a done deal. That may explain why big money wasn't given to Deano, hence 2 loan signins so far. Paul Tamworth

The should have signed people in January, but the reason they are struggling now is because teams don't want to let players leave until their Premier League status is secured. And also the massive factor of players not likely to want to join Wolves.

I can't see us signing anyone today.

I don't think the clubs we are talking to are concerned with premier league status. I think they are more likely to be concerned that they won't be able to field 11 players in the Dudley and Cradley Heath cup match on Sunday.

We are playing on Saturday so there shouldn't be a problem.
