Marlon king is favorite to join wolves! He says he is settled in the midlands after spells with cov and blues!! Wolves are in no talks though at the minute

His goal scoring record is excellent at this level. Just get him in to play alongside siggy.

If Wolves are to raid the blues there are better/younger players . I was just reading yesterday that the blues are in a lot of financial trouble and have to sell a lot of players.

just heard dean is trying to get rid of 7-8 players in the next few days according to the wolves reporter. SEB, zubar and hammil will defo be sold. cassidy, doherty will go back on loan. hunt, e.jonsson etc will be harder to shift though. minimum of 2 signings will be coming in. a LB and a striker top of list.

Bet the outgoers include Roger Johnson and O'hara because they are on the biggest .wages {Ed011's Note - ... but they have been, in my opinion 2/4 of our only decent performing players. The club will get rid of players on higher wages who aren't helping us get higher up the table/ promotion. (The other 2 being Ikeme and Sako).

Cassidy won't be going back on loan when we don't have many strikers and deano wants to teach him to be a good striker. Hopefully we bring in some talent and give o'hara a chance to start, as he brings creativity to the squad instead of henry who has been shocking recently.

Ohara and Johnson will be sold, can confirm that will bring in 3 million, they are the biggest earners, the ceilings caved in, Saunders given the backing even if we are relegated, sadly we could be, the books are being balanced and the league one budget is on the agenda, if we are at the arse end of the championship or top of league one the revenue will be similar.we just wanna make the world dance it's not about the price tag.

If you are right Ed011 then isn't Doyle our highest earner, with Johnson? Johnson is our best defender but is Doyle our best forward? He's more likely to go, from those two.

Trouble is - will another club want to pay his wages? I can see a relegation side like Reading being his best bet, but it will be a short contract. {Ed011's Note - I'm not saying that's these are even the players in our highest earners or that we're trying to get rid of these players, just speculation. The first players who should go are the senior players nowhere near the first team - Jonsson for example, but if we're trying to cut down the wage bill then Doyle would be a an option to go, Leeds must have been looking at him as they decided that his wages were too high quite recently, and now Becchio has handed in a transfer request so it's possible they could move for him I suppose.

Wolves boss Dean Saunders has put Carlisle United on transfer alert after admitting he is eyeing the Blues' top young players.

It was to make a personal check on United's rising stars, with teenagers Brad Potts and Dave Symington the players most likely to have been in his sights.

Wolves want Port Vale striker Tom Pope, deal holding out until the final stages of the transfer window as a fee is being thrashed about by both clubs. Fee will be in the region of £1 million if it happens.

From good info, he has not signed an extension on his contract as expected. This is due to him wanting more money and Vale not prepared to give so there might be something in this.

He's scored 23 goals already ths tv. certainly knows where the back of the net is. sooner go for him than Wells.

{Ed011's Note - I haven't done anything... GASP! I just totally just worked it out, I'm having a moment where I feel like Shelock Holmes or Poirot, or some awesome combination of the two. The website changes some key words automatically so that I don't even get to see what it originally was, for example "idiot" gets changed to "person" that's why you see people calling each other "you bunch of persons" and it all seems very confusing. You must have put in ssn as short for season, but as the website doesn't allow advertising of major companies for some complex reason that I shan't go into, and ssn is also short for Sky Sports News, it automatically changed "ssn" to "tv", so people would say "I saw it on tv" as opposed to the opposite, you see, it's elementary dear poster.

If anyone thinks Wells is better than Sigi or Cassidy they are deluding themselves. If quality isn't there getting the ball into the box to feed the strikers it doesn't matter who we play up front, they just won't score! RVP would struggle for goals in this current Wolves team playing aimless hopeful balls up front!

But that's why we are going to sign a super duper midfielder!

Name one of our strikers with pace wells has got pace which we haven't got hence our players not being able to beat a defender

Nahki Wells, 57 appearances 23 goals for Bradford! The guy is young enthusiastic and has got pace! Get another striker alongside him with the same qualities and that will be a good start to Deanos new team! Put Seb alongside him and he will have to wait 5 minutes for the fat bloater to get in the box!! Then he will miss!! Get rid of Doyle and Seb!! We can then have Siggy, Cassidy, Wells and another! Paul Tamworth

In Div 2 Paul! Seb would probably have a goal a game at that level in a mid table team!

He ment to be very quick your right, trouble is he takes up the wrong positions to use his speed to his advantage.... Also despite his speed without the ball he isn't that faster dribbler

I'm glad I found this site as I enjoy reading lots of the stuff on here but I feel I've got to say this.

I don't agree about SEB not having goals in him now, play him th eright ball and get him one on one or through on the keeper and he'll score, as will Doyle.

The biggest problem to me is we don't play it from the back quick enough, always giving the opposition time to re-group. This hoofing it down the park will never work to the strikers, they're not big enough and even Doyle seems to have lost his knack of holding it up now.

I think the issue is in the midfield, there's nobody looking up to play a quick pass (that's if they ever get the ball and it doesn't just go sailing over their heads!). Players like Olofinjana could spot the killer pass, something we now lack. If Henry gets the ball he kills it stone dead as he needs too much time on it then either knocks it square or backward. There's nobody prepared to make a run from the middle (Boukari looked like he was going to be the answer, then he vanished) any more like Guediora did, again I though he looked a tidy player although I guess he did lose possession a bit but we do that anyway kicking it up the park.

I think with what we have it were put to better effect we still in theory have a good team, they just don't seem to be playing to their strengths.

If hoof ball tactics are going to keep us up it's going to be long and boring rest of the season and players like Sako might as well not be on the park, play it to feet and don't give the ball to Henry!

The problem is a lame left back, right back and centerback... 3 new players needed...

As for playing SEB into a one-on-one situation... most "football" players would score on a one-on-one situation so that's crap. he's not the lad we purchased from Plymouth due to 3 years of lacking confidence.

Quicker forward play I agree... sigurdarson and doyle should start up top with sako and peszcko feeding them. Cassidy should have a bench role... he could come good!

Might be worth trying siggy and cassidy upfront together.

u are right about the midfield and henry but wrong about seb.

if you give ANY decent striker good chances they will score - when he scored 25 goals when we went up we scored goals for fun with jarvis and kightly creating, again ANY decent striker would av got a similar return.

some strikers score as many or more with probably less service than he had all those years ago

seb is now overweight, lazy, lacking confidence and desire - he has gone stale and needs to leave for the good of us and himself, same can be said of doyle - and ward, berra, stearman, henry, edwards and hunt while we are at it!

The point I was trying to make is that we don't get our strikers in a one to one position, I'm sorry it was deemed to be a 'crap' point.

Never said it was crap, I agree 100% about the lack of creativity.

u are also right about not playing from the back - for 4 seasons now the ball gets knocked sideways in midfield then knocked back to hennessey/ikeme who boot it as far forward as they can towards 2 slow strikers with virtually no aerial presence - this must av been coached into the keepers rather than encouragin them to play it out, as its been happenin for far 2 long.

Sorry lads if you are at the wrong end of the table, you don't sell your top scorer. full stop.
