Went to the last two friendly matches, i thought the team that ended the game against walsall looked sharp going forward.
The team that started against Notts County looked near enough what we might call our starting eleven. we played the ball around well and carved out quite a few openings.
Then on came Blake, Stearman, Kites, Milijas, Hennessey and co, and lo and behold very few chances
created and we started to look shaky at the back.
Proof i think that we are still short and need a few more quality signings.
Lets hope we can move a few out and get some in before the new season starts.

Why so much interest in Scott Dann on here? the Blues defence only let in eight fewer league goals than us last season, not exactly rock solid defending. Besides Dann only played 20 league games last term through injury so not Mr reliable either, come on we can do better than that surely.
Yes but if we had let in 8 fewer goals we would have been safe before last game of season.
The first half of the season with johnson and dann birmingham had one of the best defences in the league, then injuries happened and it went down hill for them
Possibly? But it didn't do Blues any good.

Disgrace. Yet another goal conceded against lower league opposition and cheap skate spending-almost spent as much as when Dave Jones was in charge for the first premier league season
