Not so sure he'll score in Scotland either. Refs allow a more physical game up there and Silva unfortunately looks a Sunday league player. Shame for him as he comes across as a really nice guy, but ruined by silly money amd huge expectations that can not be fulfilled.

We probably did try several after Adams deal fell through. Can only buy if someone is selling, unfortunately.

Kally1, Neves yes. The others no.
Moutinho been poor for 2 years, Jimenez been poor for 2 years due to his injury never looked the same,
Traore very exciting but also done nothing for 2 years.
Collins may have had potential but mistake in every game.
Podence scores a few goals, but is so annoying with his flicks to no one and falling on the floor if touched rolling around hitting the floor.
The aforementioned players Moutinho, Jimenez and Traore were our best players and I loved watched them, but like I said, 2 yeas ago.

Halftimepie, agree completely on Lemina, but have to disagree on Fraser. Unfortunately he lacks speed and presence. We were put under pressure constantly as he failed to hold the ball up or reach easy passes. That is in all the games he's played not just today. Chiwome looked far more interested although like rabbit in headlights at times. The big issue is we lack quality outside the main 15-16 players and the drop in quality after them is vast. Players are needed in the summer. Coventry deserved their win today and we need to lick our wounds and hope some of our injured players return for Villa.

Neto and Lemina looked uninterested today. Really poor showing from the team. Let's hope its just a cup hangover

Worst game this season. Sheffield were utterly crap and still had the best chances. Hwang not at the races and Cunhas absence is massive. Only Joao Gomes and Sarabia looked interested in going forward. Very weird performance.

Why the hate for Lineker? Our first 2 seasons up under Nuno he continually praised us, then we played pretty boring football until GON came in and now he is praising us again. He also backed us on all the poor VAR decisions.

Yesterday was all about Cunha. Once he went off we looked flat. When we can we need to add quality. Unfortunately Fraser is too slow and Bellegarde isn't quite up to speed. I disagree Blackfords on Sa, he has saved us more times than his poor decisions have hurt us. GON can work on his decision making to improve that side, but finding a keeper who has the same quality would be difficult and expensive.
