It's all well and good getting these foreign players and the foreign manager, and believe me I'm as excited as the rest of you, but we need to buy some good English players who know what the English game is all about, I know that normally English talents costs more, but we have the cash now so let's splash it. Bamford, Pritchard and Henwick from Derby would do for me. There's no doubt that it's exciting times ahead.

If you mean Jeff Kendrick from Derby - he's being chased by several premiership teams so doubt he'd come here even if Derby would sell to one of their rivals.

Excited or bemused? Less than 8,000 at today's game for a club that has just been taken over with a new manager who was actually in the frame for the Southampton job.

Excited 7a, they've been in charge for a week what do you expect. There may have been 8000 there today for a FRIENDLY, but I'm willing to bet there's 25000+ there for the first home game.
