Hi folks it's been a while since I last posted anything mainly due to my I'll health and a couple of weeks in hospital then getting over it. Thankfully I'm on the mend and getting stronger.

I found myself going to post stuff then thinking what's the point when I've read some of the negative things people were putting our there. Julien left at probably the worst point he could have in my opinion. Clearly down to things about which we can only surmise all down to the usual suspect Mr. Shi.
Led by Matt Hobbs we get Gary O'Neil who I thought then and still do that we have the right man for us. He did a terrific job at Bournemouth in my opinion. Others up for the job will I suspect would have been some we certainly wouldn't have wanted!

To start when he did has left us behind the rest but he seems to be catching up apart from a few blips which is only to be expected to be honest. Stuff I've read about losing the dressing room etc. is clearly a load of bull. Perhaps a listen to Matt Hobbs talking on Monday night Football on Radio 5 available on the Wolves page of BBC Sport website will dispell that from everyone's mind. Well worth a listen in my opinion. He spoke a lot of sense and explained things about where the club is going.

The VAR crap over the weekend shows you can't remove human error from anything in life mind you before VAR it wouldn't have been a goal because the ref would have blown for offside before it was scored then becoming a topic for conversation in the pub after like it used to be! Much better in my opinion! As for Klip Klop the man child wanting a replay that's frankly laughable. Where do you draw the line? Back to our cup game then on to Old Trafford and Kenilworth Road amongst others I reckon! He should just shut up accept it like everyone else mistakes will happen whatever you do to VAR there is a finite nurof referees you can stand down and sack and then they will still make mistakes.

For me we have the right man in the job to lead us to the future it might take a while but he's clearly working hard he's got the players with him he's tactically astute. It won't work every time but he's young and British I find that combination exciting and gives me hope for our future. I hope everyone gets behind him he's not perfect but who is I'm sure there will be less bumps in the road as the season goes on so Come on you Wolves.

Great to have you back Ken and delighted to hear that your health is on the mend.
V balanced post with lots of sensible points.
The board currently seems as united as it has ever been in the years I have been posting with some genuine supportive stuff.
We obviously all want Wolves to do well and whilst we may disagree on some aspects of the path taken/to be taken the underlying thread is we are all keen for it to be onwards and upwards - hopefully, for some/most it appears, with GON leading the way.
I read the Forum regularly and at times have been attracted to its somewhat more jaundiced view - being a natural bear myself. However at the moment the negativity towards the club and even more shockingly the hostility towards the players (some of whom have been loyal and succesful servants of the club) is bordering on ridiculous.
I am therefore pleased that I stayed on this site even though I acknowledge, (and apologise for it), that I am probably on the negative fringe of the board particularly towards our ultimate leader Jeff!

Spot on Ken 68, agree with what you say but I'd have liked Cody back for his captaincy skills. We are lacking a strong leader on the pitch

Good to see you back Ken and on the road to recovery/feeling better.
I feel this season will be a precursor to a great next season.
Will have ups and downs this season but we can progress under GON if stay injury free and maybe a decent forward signing in January.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind words! Regarding negative stuff there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism it's just the doom and gloom that gets me. At our mid table position which is where this season is where I expect us to finish we are not going to win every game. You can he has plans for every game it's up to the players to be able to stick to it. It won't work every time though will it we just need to stick behind them whatever happens. The last thing they need is the fans on their backs. It never helps! COYW.

Glad to see your back Ken and I'm glad you're on the mend. Last weeks result has changed a lot of people's minds, (including mine), as to what GON and the squad are capable of. If we keep the momentum, and beat villa the, only way will be up.i agree with returning to the old days, let the ref decide at the time and we can argue about it in the pub, it was all part of going to, and the entertainment of, the match.

Just got in to read this. Sorry you've been unwell but pleased to see that you're back in the saddle.

Hopefully, the performances and results will give us all the opportunity to get back to more positive thinking. Fosun/Wolves/JL have all taken us on a bit of a ride, that's for sure.
