Apparently we are in intensive negotiations with Stuttgart for Austrian international striker Kalajdzic, deal with player agreed in principle. They want €25m and we're looking to finalise in coming days

Just looking at his highlights, a bit Crouch like and at 6ft 7" good with his head. A bit surprised by this one as given the names linked I thought we would be looking for more pace and power. Unless, of course they're planning on signing another as well.

Long-There were several references to our side lacking height during the commentary on Saturday-something I have gone on about for a while-amongst other things! We need some physical presence, so could be a welcome addition.

It's fair comment SQ and actually Crouchy was a very useful player, no doubt. Because he's so different to the rest he fits perfectly into the need to give Lage options. But for that reason I think there may well be a Ramos or Ramos like signing to follow.
I'm not sure that they believe Jimenez will return to his former glory and after a season of goal shy performances I don't think they'll take that chance again.

As a lot of our crosses into the box go over everyone's head someone taller could be very useful!

Tongue in cheek comment though as Bruno has said he needs different types of player up front this guy could be a useful addition to the squad imo.

64% we won. Maybe don't listen to a player that hates us and has played for rivals and also supports the team we are playing.

Ive noticed this is common with the English. They remember what fits their narrative and agenda. So like that. we lack height yet the super tall Spuds only won 35.7%. I mean go check. It's on every website that reports stats. Even on Sky Sports.

Frenchwolf Lage has stated in the not to distance past he wants a target man striker hence tall.
