I see that Palace and West Ham are shorter prices than Wolves to be relegated . There isn't a hope in hell that Wolves will finish in front of these teams with the current squad.

I totally agree. I am struggling to find three teams worse than us at the moment. Ok we have done some business, but its not enough. If we have money, why are we not spending it. I remember the last season in the prem-the 'experts' said we would be okay-we signed one brand new player, and we went down. It seems to take an age to get a player into this club, whereas other teams do the business in a day or so.

Ffs lads get a grip last season everyone was saying top 10 pl with our current squad now we won't survive make your bloody minds up.

{Ed025's Note - i think you will be fine mate, it wont be a walk in the park mind and there will of course be flat spots but you have as good a squad as the other 2 newbies and quite a few others, you should be full of optimism and the main thing is that you enjoy the ride..

Well put ed and monkeystig I cannot understand the negativity on here we have only just gone up and people think we have the same clout as a Manchester club can’t you just be happy we are there and see what happens fosun have achieved what that wanted much more quickly than they said they would just back us for once fwaw.

Agree Monkeystig and couldn't have put it better Ed025. Why oh why the negativity? Please for Godsake give it a rest. Moan moan moan. Our owners are top top business men not rich persons who will throw money around for the sake of it. There a still a couple of teams who have yet to sign a single player. We have signed 9 and that makes us joint top of incoming players during the transfer window. I can think of at least 7 or 8 teams who, on paper, we have a better squad than, and that's without looking in depth. We have just had the best season and witnessed some of the best football I have ever seen from our club. We have signed a couple of world class players and kept hold of the likes of Neves. Season tickets are sold out home and away, with our first ever waiting list in place. I for one think we would be fine if we started the season now with no more signings and i'm absolutely buzzing and can't wait for the new season to start. #TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.

We've signed 3 international players with over 250 caps between them but still it seems some aren't happy.

{Ed025's Note - miserable buggers i would say jas..

Huddersfield, Brighton, Cardiff, Newcastle, Watford. But thanks for writing off the team before a ball has been kicked. I bet you thought we'd finish top half in the PL with last season's squad. We've added 3 internationals with over 200 caps between them with more to come so we are stronger than last season. Let's just hope your negativity doesn't transcend to the team and Nuno.

Hawkwolf just a minute to read what u wrote . Are you that pessimistic in life .

Patricio Rated one of the top 3 in Europe Would walk into any top team in Europe
Moutinho . Multi winner of major tropheys in his career. considered by many experts as signing of the season
Jimenez . highly rated, still young with loads of potential

Neves, Jota, Boly, Costa, Carvalho

A ball hasn't been kicked yet .

Fosuns don't do failure

You’re a doom merchant .

Villa
Birmingham Citty
The baggies

There is your 3 teams that are worse then us we are in the prem there not . writing off your team before they have even started is p155 poor . Grow up and support your team not criticise them.

I think it's fair to say our transfer dealings to date, after all we were told, have been average in money spent compared to the majority of other teams, however the window is still open and judgement should not be made until its closed.

Patricio and Moutinho are among the best signings made in the premiership this season. Hopefully Johnny and Jiminez will bed in quickly, but why we signed Bonatini is beyond me, in Nuno we trust.

Bearing in mind were still linked with Silva, Smalling, Traore, Rose, Mario, and Rojo, if we got just 2 of them a top 10 finish would be virtually guaranteed.

I'm sorry mathmo but don't agree mate. It's not a case of money spent. It's a case of astute business. Patricio (possible tribunal pending) and Moutiniho for a combined fee of £5m is ridiculous and a saving in today's market of around £50m. We have signed the joint most amount of players in the prem =9. Some teams have yet to make a single signing. On the contrary I think the business done so far, for a newly promoted signed, has been excellent. #TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.

Bradmore the point I was making was in relation to Dalrymple, Thelwell and Jeff's comments saying how we are not just there to compete, we want quality signings and about joining the elite. Strange all this was said before season tickets were on sale.

You say we have signed 9 players but 5 of these were taking up options on loan players last year. Afobe and Douglas have left and have been replaced by Jonny and Raul maintaining the status quo.

Rui and Joao are the only improvements we've made on last years squad but I do agree what a great bit of business, but hardly enough for us to join the elite. I'd also put Vinagre in the great biz catergory.

I'm very happy with the additions so far but still think we need another 2 or 3 for a top 10 finish otherwise I think we could end up closer to the RZ than we would like.

Yeah I get what your saying mathmo. They did say they didn't want to go in just to make the numbers up, ie we are not going up to have a relegation battle. But I also recall them saying it was a 10 year plan. This was said well before any season ticket sales or announcement? (Don't know why that needs to come into the equation? This isn't Morgan and Moxey) . I think it's unrealistic for anybody to think we are going up and challenging the elite straight away, but a mid table/ near top 10 finish would represent a good first season back in the prem. Yes maybe 5 players of our 9 players signed were here last year, but they still had to be signed, money spent, terms agreed etc. I think the business we have done so far has been very good. Agree with you that we need 2 maybe 3 more, and I trust Nuno and the board to bring in the right type of player, with the right mentality, who believe in the 'project'. Also, they can't force players to join, e. g. Rojo. Let's see what 5pm next Thursday brings. #TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.

Well said Bradmore Wolf . its a project, and if it takes 5+ to get to the top table then mission accomplished.

In the meantime, Nuno will mould his squad but one has to expect teething problems.

Lets all get on board, control our expectations and enjoy that the Premiership is coming to town .

Bring it on!

Completely agree Shamus50, it's going to be a long interesting ride to our ultimate destination, but I'm strapped in raring to go and I'm going to enjoy every twist and turn along the way, because in Nuno and Fosun we trust. #TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.
