Hearing wolves transfer budget is £0 unless sales are made . Bruno unhappy about situation. He wants 2 for each position but Scott sellers prefers less with players able to play multiple positions. SS would like 15 1st teamers and rest academy. Bruno wants 20-21 with rest academy.

No idea how Sellers got into this role, seems Jeff has just surrounded himself with Yes men. The squad is so weak when it comes to depth, how he can't see that but everyone else can including his manger is beyond me. The season starts in 4 weeks and they've done absolutely nothing in what really is the biggest window under fosun. Joke.

I certainly agree with Wolvesfan03.
The grossly over-promoted Sellars has done so much damage in the last 2 seasons.
He has built a team of equally incompetent minions. Our involvement in the last 5 transfer windows has been poor and so far, once again we seem to be floundering without clear direction. If there is no money, fine, don't get involved with players who are out of our reach. If funds restricted, think smart and look at "out of Contract" options or "loans" or lower league options.
Shi is our very own Johnson, completely oblivious to what is going on around him!

I think in reality we should all just ignore players linked to us by the media, we probably aren't looking to sign them.
Personally, I can't see Wolves employing a department of scouts and analysts who sole job is to identify new potential recruits then not be in a position to act on their advice.
I think they have a handful of specific targets that tick very specific boxes, if they can get them they will, if they can't they won't.
Personally, I think it's best to just wait until the end of the window and see who they bring in.
Having said that I'm not sure about Sellars either.

Out of contract players aren't always the cheapest or best option though rugeley, most will want a signing on fee and big wages, which in turn can destabilise a united dressing room.
Unless they are a big name I would like us to tread carefully where out of contract players are concerned.

At present 20/21 players posted them yesterday.
So Lage has already got what he wants going on what Tinkerman says.
I strongly agree with Wolfwhistle posts.
Lage has options up top Jimenez silva podence Traore whang Neto Chiqua (sorry spelling)
A couple of additions I think necessary if that means a player or two sold then that's how it is.
Regarding sellars he is working under directions and with the vision of the clubs hierarchy.
If fans don't like it or understand then that's their perogative.

Issue is the options we have up front don't score goals. Which had it not been for Jose Sa having such an amazing season could have cost us big time last year. We lost a lot of leaders as well in Ruddy, Saiss and Marcal so we still need to replace these lads as well as the 3-4 more players Bruno wanted, I do think the whole Nunes deal was a smokescreen to say well at least we tried, surely they would have know he wasn't interested when making contact and through Mendes so why drag it out this long just move on. Still shocked we didn't go for Palhinha, cheap deal for top player. With the 5 subs rule coming in too would have helped with rotation of Moutinho and Neves should be stay.

Options up front looks ok until you break it down. Adama does not want to be there, Hwang is well short of premier quality and Podence is easy meat for big defenders. It is about time Silva came good which could make a big difference.

I'm more confident on Neto and jiminez as the difference in our goals output.
Ray your point on Traore not wanting to be here is why I posted yesterday the best use for Traore is an impact sub.
Podence I think is high quality need to keep him fit but as you say Ray light weight agaisnt big defenders and can be injured too often.imo
Whang started well then went polar opposite no saying Whang might find the form we saw the first few games he played for us.
Silva needs to start to come of age and produce.

The 5 subs new rule will benefit the big 6 making it harder for teams like us.
But the harder the challenge the greater the prize.

Agree with you Phil, Neto must start. Also Podence is quality but defenders don't think twice about clattering him. Just a pity Traore doesn't knuckle down and sign a contract he could be a massive bonus for us. Surely if Silva goes they will bring someone else in, there is no one on the books ready to step in. If Raul got injured may as well throw in the towel.
