Locadia still a possibility i reckon. he's been out for a while with an injury. But should be back soon. Was doing great for PSV before his injury netting 9 goals in 12 Appearances. However PSV have not really missed him since his injury and have enough backup. Really do hope we go back in for this fella!

Was also reading an article the other day saying that Benfica president was in the UK with a gestifute representative. This most likely is a loan move for Joao Carvalho. However it could also be Rafa Silva who have both been linked with us buy Portuguese Media. I've got a couple friends in Portugal who support Porto and Lisbon. They speak very highly of Benficas Joao Carvalho and say that Rafa Silva has the potential but has not been able to show it as he isn't getting any chances at Benfica. But Rafa Silva would be by far the fastest player in the championship if he did come.


One last thing, not too sure we will sign Nelson Oliveira, Nuno was targeting a more stronger and faster striker in the summer hence why we bid for Locadia. Oliveira too similar to Bonatini.

I agree Winston Wolf.

Locadia for speed and direct running and holding the ball up.
Rafa silva more cultured midfielder with pace.
Carvalho seems to fit the bill as well possibly as we have fit difficulties agreeing with Jota? As he would be similar to jota, Costa and Ivan. Unless Nuno has plans with RWB for cover for Doherty.
Oliveira is too similar to bonatini and for 10m is to predictable for oppositions.

The other thing to beat in mind is we have options on all loan signings from the summer. Whether that be Jota, Leo, Boly, Vinagre and N’Diaye. I expect some will be signed as even if we failed to go up they would have a sell on value in summer. I don’t expect us to sign N’Diaye he’s had flashes of brilliance but he has caused issues at other clubs he has played for. Vinagre will be done behind closed doors hence why he isn’t been played. Plus Douglas has been amazing. But Vinagre was one of the best players at the Ethihad and other games such as Millwall (h) and Burton away. UTW.

Vinagre won't sign he's just signed a 5 or 6 year contract with monaco.

Sorry Sidney you need to keep up. The contract was signed in June and wolve took him on loan. In the loan agreement wolves had the option on him. Every loaned player has the option or a set fee that we can decide to pay. This was debated after the carabao cup game in October. wolves are in a position of strength.

According to Transfermark, we have an option to buy Bonatini, but not Boly or Vinagre. WE do have an option on Jota but there is also a buy back clause which I understand is getting more common.

Don't know how accurate this is.

Didnt know that but did sign a lenghy contract so I very doubt that we will sign him because of that but would have him.
