Had a look at this guys stats and he seems a really good shout. He set the league record winning his first 11 games in charge of Olympiakos be beating Arsenal in the champions league. If he did come it is definitely a long term project. Let's hope some of the players we are reading about are just agents talking up their clients.

We get linked to every man and his dog with regards to managers and players and nothing happens. We are like a snail in the transfer market and everything else hence why we missed out on Lopetegui or however you spell it. The fact that the takeover was completed Monday and we have no signings signifies we aren't going to compete for promotion this season. Frustrating.

Looking at the original list, it included I Cavaleiro (12.5m) and someone called Carvalho: I've got a feeling that this was Carvalho Silva, a holding midfielder rated at another £10 million.

I fully expect Big Jeff and Sky Sunny Boy to be finalising these two next week, along with Tulisca when the squad should really be taking shape.
