I'm hearing Blackpool & Doncaster are preparing a bid for Hollywood O'Hara. It would be funny if he went to DRFC.

1.) 21 Aug 2013
Not sure they could afford his wages unfortunately

2.) 21 Aug 2013
Hollywood O'Hara will surely end up at QPR. But Doncaster would just be a dream!

3.) 21 Aug 2013
I don't care anymore as long as he moves on.

4.) 22 Aug 2013
In fairness to Ohara he is trying to get a move and restart his career, looks like Johnson is going to stick around playing hardball til we pay him off.

5.) 22 Aug 2013
Solbakken reappointed by fc Copenhagen.

6.) 22 Aug 2013
Not a rumour but a point for debate.if the transfer window were to close now, would you be happy?.Personally I think although a shallow squad it's by far the strongest in league one, balanced with experience and exiting forward thinking youth.if we keep Doyle and Sako would expect us to be very well placed come the January window, then we can reassess and move forward again.as fans we have to back the team and the manager, our support to date has been magnificent let's keep it going.the realist.

7.) 22 Aug 2013
Not if irish take over going to put money in

8.) 22 Aug 2013
What are you on about "irish take over "?

9.) 22 Aug 2013
Irish takeover?

10.) 22 Aug 2013
What Irish takeover - explain!

11.) 22 Aug 2013
Apparently an Irish consortium may take over DRFC

12.) 22 Aug 2013
Was saying about Doncaster with o'hara

13.) 22 Aug 2013
I wouldn't be happy on the grounds that the club can not carry on with the burdens it has on its books. To have 40,000 pw players in your u-21 team is not a good position! On the whole yes the squad looks strong however the experienced players in doyle and sako I feel we have two players that have reached there potential which means there wages are a burden. Sako for his good shot is not the quickest also he has to have too many chances to put a decent cross in that's not to say he isn't our major attacking force but I would say he is slightly better than Jarvis. Jarvis was the one trick wonder.

14.) 22 Aug 2013
I'd have Jarvis any day over sako!

15.) 22 Aug 2013
That's the reason we're in league 1 we gave big contracts to players that thought they were amazing and our club let them think that, that's why our club looks like a MUG! The turnover of players at the mol is shocking over the past 5 years look how other clubs change constantly ie Stoke, Sandwell Town, Norwich, Swansea, Villa, etc etc etc See they also spend a tad more on quality perfect example is Robbie keane when we were in the prem we didn't want to pay his wages, villa did he scored 7 goals in 10 games which virtually kept villa up. Welcome to the real world!

16.) 22 Aug 2013
Completely contradicted yourself.dont give players massive contracts, but spend more and pay massive wages?

17.) 22 Aug 2013
A little simplistic (That's the reason. ) but I see what you mean. Trouble is we'd already overspent.

Yes, we should be a similar standard to Villa or Stoke. Sometimes we are. But when we get to the Premier each time, we don't refresh our team untill it's too late. We haven't really had a Premier quality team since the 70s and Andy Gray etc, let's face it.

18.) 22 Aug 2013
Jarvis any day compare to Sako.
Sako is all left sided Jarvo didn't care what foot it was on he just wanted to put the excellent cross in or the shot.

19.) 22 Aug 2013
Boys goals and assist ratio speaks for itself its sako all the way for me! Plus he's current an jarvos past

20.) 23 Aug 2013
Sako all day for me.

Jarvis' final ball isn't good enough and his shooting is poor!

21.) 23 Aug 2013
It not a contradiction as if we had short term success we could build on that. you gain 2 million more per place you finish in the prem and you would be on the telly more. plus you would probably do better in the cups :) therefore you could afford to pay a tad more for a short term player Robbie keane was at villa for 3 months as the mls season started end of march.

22.) 23 Aug 2013
Jarvis' distribution was the worst I have seen since Mo Camara. He could beat a player all day long but once in a blue moon did he put a good cross in, also his goal to shot ratio was also awful. His strengths were taking players out of position which unfortunately Sako lacks but if we had Sako in Prem I think Fletcher would have gone for a lot more money with the goals he would have scored.

23.) 23 Aug 2013
To the person who said Jarvis' distribution was poor. Are you on drugs? Don't forget he was naturally right footed played down the left but he was comfortable with both feet. He is twice the player Sako is.
